Beachfront vacation rentals in Umdloti Beach

Absolutely lovely flat. The linens, made by Camille’s company it turns out, were some of the nicest I’ve ever slept on — and I’ve spent a great deal of time in luxury hotels for work. ( If you’re local check out That’s Linen ). If, like me, you’re booking because it’s walking distance to stuff, be prepared for a workout on the way home. But hey, great views don’t come without steep climbs.

The place was well-equipped, clean, neat, and conveniently close to the beach. The hosts were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely book with them again.

We have found a new gem - Sovereign Sands in Blythedale. Away from the chaos of Ballito and surrounds, it was a breath of fresh air to be a short forest-walk away from a pristine uncrowded beach. It felt like Mozambique (beautiful quiet beaches, dune forest etc), but with the added convenience of Checkers Sixty60 delivering to the Estate. Blythedale itself is a simple town with not much to do, but The Estate is a short beach walk away from Grumpy's beach bar, which was awesome (and made us think of Mozam even more with their jugs of R&R). The accommodation was spacious, clean and comfortable, and while we wished we had a sea-view - the sounds of the ocean were awesome. The kitchen was stocked with all the usual kitchen gadgets (even a Nespresso machine) you'd need. Elsie was communicative and friendly. The Estate felt very safe & well-run. The communal pool area boasted a very large pool that the kids loved (but the adults wished that there was some comfy seating around).

Thank you Chad for a great stay ! The location of your home is perfect and the views from the house overlooking the sea and lagoon are spectacular. It was very peaceful sitting on the deck watching the sunsets. The kitchen was well equipped but lacking a dishwasher. Overall a great experience !

Spectacular, from the location, the views, the beach access, space, and amenities, this place is heaven for those looking for a quiet, private breakaway to a pristine area just off the M4. Also close enough to Ballito for shopping. The house is perfect for families wanting to relax and enjoy the view, and really does have all you need. Debra was also an excellent host, very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

Exactly what we wanted, somewhere to stay that was near the beach, affordable, clean and comfortable. This was better than our expectation. On arrival we were welcomed by the host Liesl who was extremly friendly and warm and made us feel very welcome. The place was super clean, the bed was so comfortable and everything was juts perfect. The host thought of everything from a beach bag we could use to an umbrella if it rained and we were even welcomed with tea, coffee and rusks. We highly recommend this place to stay as its nothing less than amazing and your stay will be perfect, right on the beach and tranquil. A perfect holiday stay.

Lovely spot in a family oriented beach area. A short walk to a beach that is tightly controlled by security guards. The house has great views of the ocean and we appreciated the gas braai and evening views. The beach is very busy all day and can get crowded. The grounds are set up for families with kids so expect a lot of toddlers and younger teenager.

From booking to checkout everything ran smoothly. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and very beautifully fitted out. Amazing full sea view and easy beach access. We really appreciated the help with our check in/out times which accommodated flight schedules. Stanley is a very pleasant and helpful part of the team. We didn't want to leave and would go back in a flash!

It was our second visit to Matt&Nadine’s place and once again everything was excellent. You can’t find a better spot and more comfortable unit. The location is magical and so easy if you are travelling with a family. We will definately be back. Thank you Matt&Nadine, you go above and beyond.

We had a fabulous stay in this stunning unit. Extremely comfortable, with everything you could possibly need. The views are just beautiful. Unfortunately we had to check out a day early as my elderly mom was ill, but we will definitely book again in the near future. Thank you for sharing this beautiful space with us.

Our stay (Family of 5 adults) was everything we hoped it would be. The place is gorgeous, kitted out with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including some extra goodies on arrival. The home itself is stunning, we now are saving to redo our bathroom inspired bu the bathrooms here! This is an airbnb that we will definitely be returning to! the location is quiet and peaceful, with lots of Monkeys nearby but not close enough to bother us! They nearby beaches were private and quiet, they felt like they were our own! We have nothing but appreciation and gratitude for the host for allowing us to really have a home away from home experience, and can't wait to come back again!

Nicely laid out space for a group-share: four independent rooms, each with an en suite full bathroom. Proximity to beach is excellent. The condo is outfitted with everything you'd need--from kitchen gear to beach towels, etc. We were a group of seven attending a wedding and had a great time in the space. Trish was also very helpful: when one guest forgot his passport in the condo, she was quick to let us back into the space well after checkout. I would recommend Trish's place for anyone looking for a fun pad to connect with family and friends, beachside.

Spacious apartment with 1 master- & 2 twin bedrooms. The master and one twin have a great ocean view. Very spacious lounge & dining area, kitchen with Nespresso machine, washer & dryer. Weber BBQ on the very large patio. Just down the hill from the promenade. We had a great time, thank you Filip :) - a 1A-host!

It's a wonderful place! The apartment is very spacious, bigger than it looked in the photos. Everything is very clean and brand new. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay. The territory is close and you feel safe in the apartment. The beach is very close, literally 5 minutes on foot. But the veranda won our hearts, the whole family spent most of our time there playing games and talking! The ocean view is mesmerizing. Many thanks to the hosts! Candice was in touch all the time, helped with all the questions very quickly. Special thanks for the opportunity for flexible check-in and check-out!
