Vacation rentals in Turtle Lake

My partner and I stayed here for a wedding and loved it! The place was just as cozy/retro as advertised, everything was very clean, and Rose was very responsive and helpful with all of our questions. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area!

Quite a lovely suite. It is above a detached heated garage, so there is a flight of stairs to go upstairs but handrails on either side made it safe. A large balcony/deck off the living room. Parking in the garage was a real plus. It was nice to stay in a facility that was so safe and Max TV and Netflix were nice to have. There are 2 really comfortable rocking chairs in the living room in addition to a couch. Ben was very accommodating and pleasant. Remote community but close to some beautiful lakes. Also close to Steele Narrows where the last military conflict in Canada took place in 1885. Quite fascinating. The Lakehouse restaurant about 5 minutes away had great food and prices and we ordered takeout on our last night. However with the full kitchen, we cooked every other meal. All in all, quite the gem located in a bit of a remote village.

Exceeded our expectations. Location was perfect: easy to find, beautiful lake, lots of parking and green space, direct access to the water with a private dock and great set-up for tying up our boat. Host provided the basics, and there’s a close by convenience store with everything else you might need. Cabin was more spacious than we’d expected, with plenty of seating inside and out and room to spread out. Surprise extras like access to water toys, barbecue, and a great outdoor shower. Host was very responsive to questions and very flexible to accommodate our large group. Good value for the price! Highly recommend!

This was a beautiful place! Super quiet and peaceful, great place to go for a weekend. We had an amazing time. Judy was so amazing such a sweetheart. Super easy to communicate with and has such a kind heart. If you like old car this is a great place to visit her husband collects old cars so there is a walking trail to go a look and all the amazing cars. This was a beautiful weekend trip we had so much fun and created so many beautiful memories.

Great place on a Great Lake

Well this place is exactly what our group of 8 moms needed. It was well stocked. Lots of options for sleeping and quiet space if needed. It was more than just a place to gather. It was an experience that we will remember forever. Thanks Lacy!

Cabin was as described. Very clean with great amenities. Barbecue was in great shape and easy to use. Kitchen supplies were plentiful. Whole cabin was clean. We were in area for a family get together and this cabin worked excellent for us. Daniel was responsive to any questions. Very pleased!!

We loved this minimalist cabin. Perfect size and layout for the two of us. Easy walking distance to the lake and very quiet and peaceful. Sharon and Bob were great hosts. They were friendly and communicative. We would totally stay here again.

This is an ideal place for a large group. We had 8 including 3 large teenagers plus a dog and it fit us all very comfortably. Peggy’s cabin is very well stocked with dry goods , spices, cooking equipment etc. It was just a short walk to a nearby beach with picnic tables and only a 5-10 minute walk to the main beach. The local golf course was only 15 minutes away There is no wifi but the cell service was fine. The satellite tv was great and lots of good movies for young and old plus tons of games to play. Peggy gave us contacts for firewood which was quite reasonable and there was a great fire pit area with lots of seating and roasting sticks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!
