Vacation rentals with a kayak in Tumaraa

This place was just as advertised; we had a great time! If you are looking for a hopping nightlife and the bustle of town, this rental might not be right for you. If you are looking for a beautiful private secluded beach with easy access to kayak to the motu or snorkel the reef right out your front door, then this is the place for you. We had a great time snorkeling, kayaking, visiting the motu, watching the sun set and lightning strike when it was raining, and generally enjoyed the privacy and natural beauty Raiatea has to offer. We rented a car for some of our stay and crused the island to find a short hike here and there and we visited the pearl farm on the other side of the island. I recommend this site without any reservations as long as a quiet get away is your goal.

We loved our stay with Cathy. The house is very nice. Time was not on our side so we couldn't kayak to the motu proposed by our host. The bedding was very comfortable and the kitchen was very well-equipped. The garden, terrace and dock are very well appointed. The house is well secured. The many trailers and shops are nearby. In the evening, rays and black spotted sharks (harmless) pass in front of the bungalow. A real show!!! In short, nothing but compliments about this place and this hostess.

One of those places where you arrive as a guest and leave as a friend. An unforgettable stay for the whole family that will remain long as oustanding souvenir. Kids loved jumping in the water from the pier just across the road, easy ride to the shop by bike to get a fresh baguette in the morning, and so much to see and do around the island! You can go there eyes closed for a great stay, we would love to come back some time in the future!

We had an incredible stay in Taha'a! The house is simply superb, spacious, tastefully decorated and perfectly located on the waterfront. Waking up every morning facing the lagoon was such a joy. The setting is peaceful, ideal for recharging your batteries and enjoying the beauty of the island. The welcome was warm and everything was perfectly clean and well-equipped. We recommend this Airbnb without a second thought to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable experience in Taha'a. Big thanks for a wonderful stay!

We stayed with Stéphanie for the full time in Raiatea, it was such a beautiful place, interior (nicely decorated) as well as exterior. She cares for her garden (More beautiful than the public botanical garden if you ask me) the steep decent to the house gives you an amazing view of the bay, and you have comfortable furniture on her private small beach to take the view in closely. We went for one of the best kayak trips we had in French Polynesia! Although English isn't her strongest side Stéphanie was informative, helpful and very friendly. We strongly recommend this place - it's a perfect fit to an enjoyable holiday! Be mindful that it gets rather hot in European comparison (the sea brease doesn't pass the apartment and the ceiling fans aren't quite as effective as AC. However, windows and the sliding doors are well-equipped with Mosquito net so you can have it all open 24/7 (Fantastic)

This is a great spot. The bungalow is immaculate and is right on the water. It was extremely helpful that Jenny provides very clear instructions on how to get from the Bora Bora airport to the dock and then from the dock to the Airbnb (taxi set up for you). There are a couple of little markets and restaurants within walking distance but highly recommend renting a scooter or car to see the rest of the island.

Impeccable, new, clean and very well-equipped accommodation, the bedding is more than comfortable, worthy of a luxury hotel, we slept like babies, the linens smelled so good. Tastefully decorated, the little details that make all the difference and justify its price, everything came together for a great stay despite the bad weather. Small plus for the Polynesian welcome, you immediately feel very comfortable. We also have an Airbnb on Raiatea, we highly recommend this listing. If we had to find something to say, it would be the orientation of the bungalow towards the mountain instead of the sea. But we'll be back with the family this time.
