It was our second stay at the cottage and we will be back again. Wonderful, quiet spot surrounded by beautiful gardens and views of the hills around Waipawa. Johanna and Andrew are the perfect hosts. It was a great stay.

While perfectly private and set amongst beautiful countryside the place was a great base for exploring Hawkes Bay without being too far from anything— and with a great spa and sauna to relax in after a long day! Cam provided us with greens and herbs from the garden and a fantastically bright and sunny demeanor despite the rainy weather— making a memorable experience for our family we hope to repeat in the near future.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. The cottage was modern and had everything we needed, the outlook was just beautiful and we were so close to everything in town. Even though it rained most of our visit, we still enjoyed every second of our stay. We LOVED being able to get up close with the farm animals, our 6 year old had a blast! 10/10 and highly recommend to stay here. Hopefully we’ll be able to visit again from our next visit from Australia ❤️

We needed a break from Wellington and booked this place for a couple of nights. Had an amazing stay - the place was perfect for our family and it even had a gym so I could workout. Nicky was a wonderful host - warm, inviting and incredibly easy to communicate with. Highly recommend and I hope we can come back

We had a great weekend at Ingrid’s! The house is comfy and cozy, and plenty of room for our family. The location was so nice - we didn’t really need a car once we got there. Ingrid was amazing - so accommodating and was quick to respond when we had a small issue. Overall the stay was amazing and would hands down stay again!

Great place for our family to stay. So close to the beach and shops. Nice and clean and also very quiet at night.

We had to book last minute due to a cancelled booking. Paulette was very accomodating. The place was in a beautiful location and I wish we were able to spend longer there. Although there was only 6 of us, it’s the perfect place for large groups and has everything that you need

This was such a great find - I'm so glad we got to spend the weekend here. The location is perfect - exactly what you need to get out of the city. It was so quiet en peaceful. Lovely big kitchen and living room, and the outdoor space is amazing. Krystal was amazing with her instructions and we had everything we needed. The highlight of the trip was standing underneath the stars in the evening - so bright and clear!!! Would highly recommend and cannot wait to go back one day

We had a lovely stay! We arrived in the dark and waking up to that view was something else! Such a special spot to take little ones, being able to come back and forth from the beach as we pleased was fantastic! Also loved the family feel of the Bach - you could tell there were many happy memories had there over the generations! Very accomodating hosts with great communication. We would love to visit again. Highly recommend

Fantastic spot to stay - lovely relaxing space and surroundings, close enough to town, while still a peaceful spot. We stayed with our 1 year old, and the space was perfect, with a completely enclosed deck for peace of mind with her scooting around. The hosts were super helpful, friendly and really responsive. We would definitely stay again!

We adored our stay! The cottage was pristine. The location is great. It is right across a quiet stretch of beach and walking distance from a great playground. It is very close to the airport but recent upgrades meant we couldn't hear the planes from inside the house. Our little one was obsessed with watching the planes take off. What really set this place apart was how thoughtful and kind the hosts were. We have a baby and toddler and the hosts brought toys for the kids to play with. The kids had the best time!

We loved our stay at the little cottage! It was a perfect location to walk to local attractions with our young children. The house was quite cold when we first arrived but warmed up nicely with use of the heaters. Would definitely recommend as a great central accomodation option

Fantastic house nestled under the stunning cliffs and just a short walk away from beautiful Kairakau beach. This was our second stay here and it was another wonderful stay. There is plenty of room in the house for 3 couples with lovely big living/dining areas and a spacious kitchen, and having three bathrooms is a real luxury. Stephanie was very responsive and helpful. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a long weekend escape at the beach with friends or family!

Beautiful place, highly recommend, especially if travelling with a colleague. Nice to share a living space but have the privacy of your own room with ensuite

We had a fabulous stay at Matthew and Dianne’s. Dianne welcomed us when we arrived even though we booked right at the last minute and didn’t arrive until midnight. Dianne was absolutely lovely and so welcoming and friendly. We felt right at home in her guesthouse and it had a really nice big kitchen and a beautiful garden and pond on the back step. Thanks to you both for allowing us to check out late and thanks so much for having us and making us feel so welcome. We’ll definitely stay again next time we are down in Hastings. One other thing, the pillows were fantastic.

Annabel and Willie's palce was nice and cozy and very near the water. It had everything we needed. The little back patio was nice to relax on and to have a nice glass of wine and enjoy de atmosphere. It was close to the places we wanted to visit around Napier and Hastings.
