The surrounding area has good hiking conditions both on foot, on skis and by bike. There is an opportunity for hunting and fishing. Right outside the door there is a well-developed network of well-prepared ski slopes. There is a short distance to the alpine resorts in Trysilfjellet (25 minutes) and Sälen (35 minutes). Here you have proximity to activities both in summer and winter.

Trysilfjellet is Norway's largest alpine resort and also has good cross country skiing. Ski bus drives by with a stop about 400 m away. In summertime, there are great opportunities for fishing, outdoor recreation, rafting, golf, climbing park and trail biking on all levels: Gullia, lift based, GT Bike Park, GT Pro Park, as well as two smaller bike parks.

Great cabin with attractive location in Fageråsen with 3 bedrooms, fireplace, ski in/out to both the alpine slope and the cross-country track. Here you have easy access and everything you need for a wonderful stay in Trysil. The cabin is in the immediate vicinity of Skistar Mountains resort where restaurant, spa and après-ski are available. During the summer months, the cabin is located right next to prepared bicycle trails. During your stay here there is free access to wood to get a good warm and cozy atmosphere indoors.

Welcome to our cozy cabin on the mountain in Fageråsen in Trysil. The cabin is located at 850 meters above sea level and at the very top of Fageråsen. At our cabin you have ski in/ski out and only 50 meters to the mountain. Just below is Trysil Høyfjellsenter with ski lifts, restaurants, grocery store, sports shop, ski rental, ski school and children's hill etc. Just above the cabin there are ski trails and bike paths that go around the entire Trysilfjellet. Perfect for the whole family both summer and winter.
