The accommodation was incredible. Very secluded in a small plain surrounded by hills in nearly all directions and waterfalls visible from the front door. Peaceful is an understatement. Lots of stuff provided to make the stay enjoyable with the supplied vinyl and player being the cherry on top. The bed had a good supportive mattress and the bathroom was clean and very well maintained. Overall the cottage was so cosy that we could have stayed in for the entire weekend quite happily. As for Mike the host, he was an amazingly kind and helpful guy and provided us with lots of advice on local places to see, go, eat at and walk to. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome. He makes all his own bread and pizzas which were literally the best pizzas that we have ever eaten. We will certainly be going back sometime soon for another escape to the country!

We had a wonderful stay at Isaf Cottage. It was the perfect place to get away from it all and enjoy the beautiful Welsh countryside with our doggies. The cottage is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed to feel at home. James was also a lovely host - he gave us loads of great recommendations and made us feel so welcome. My highlight was seeing the stunning views at sunset by the old quarry which we walked to from the cottage! Thank you for a great stay James! 🤗

Greg is a warm, generous host who communicates easily and well. Ty'r Onnen exceeded our expectations. Kay's homemade bread, welsh cakes and blackcurrant jam were delicious; as were the the eggs laid by their chickens. There was milk and butter in the fridge and rapeseed oil, tea and coffee on the shelves; and good local information. The views were spectacular and we had one day that we were able to sit and have lunch in the garden. I love their heart for the place - it would be a great place for young children who want to learn more about the surroundings. The cottage is furnished and equipped to a very high standard and the bed is very comfortable. Sadly it was too cold to eat in the conservatory, but we could still enjoy the views from the living area. The log burner was great for cold evenings. We wanted a place to relax in, in beautiful countryside with accessible walks nearby. Ty'Onnen more than delivered! Thank you Greg and Kay for giving us such a great break.

Absolutely loved our stay at beautiful River Cottage! The home is stunning, with lovely views that make waking up a delight - especially with the sight of sheep grazing in the field. The decor is thoughtfully done, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout. We appreciated the attention to detail, especially the well-stocked supplies for the log burner, which made our evenings cozy and relaxing. Angela was incredibly attentive, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. She was so lovely and flexible with our arrival and departure time, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking to unwind in a charming setting!

Arriving at the location we just knew we would settle in easily. The location was just gorgeous and the bottle of drink really was perfect. when we arrived, the hot tub had already been lit and was at perfect temperature for her and the hosts were so welcoming absolutely would visit again in a heart beat thank you so much! was so peaceful and everything we needed from our break away

Excellent stay, we absolutely loved it! We really enjoyed the hot tub and fire place. The house was spotlessly clean and tidy as well as very cosy and comfortable. The location is perfect for a relaxing, quiet and peaceful break, surrounded by nature and greenery. Jeanette provided us with everything we needed including recommendations for activities and restaurants/cafes to visit. Hafren Forest is beautiful and a must to explore! This weekend away did not disappoint and we only wish it was longer! 10/10 🫶🏻

Dianne was an incredibly helpful hostess , the annexe was in a beautiful, peaceful location. Dianne provided very welcoming provisions on arrival and we had a wonderful time .

We had a great stay! The area is absolutely gorgeous and the place is very well equipped. The hot tub is definitely a plus!
