Great location across from the beach and within walking distance of everything you need. Apartment was spotless and exactly as described and presented in listing. Kitchen is very well equipped for those who want to prepare their own meals. Aida is a lovely host, very warm, welcoming and responsive. It was a pleasure, Aida. For me, it was a wonderful week overall. The apartment is functional and cozy at the same time. And comparatively very spacious. Gonçalo is a particularly good host. Always and quickly accessible. He responds clearly and is attentive to the traveler. During my stay, there was construction work in neighboring apartments, which was carried out during the day but naturally not done in a whispering manner. He responded immediately and quickly proposed a good solution. The noise on Friday and Saturday from the bar on the ground floor mentioned in other feedback was barely noticeable and did not bother me at all. I'll be happy to come back!

We really like the place for our month-long stay! The location of the property is its strong point, very close to the beach of Carcavelos, to restaurants, with nearby shops as well. The hosts are very polite, friendly and helpful. We recommend the site!

The place is awesome. The view is beautiful and the apartment felt bigger than on the photos. We felt really good and could watch the waves all day to time the surf with the good tide and less people. It was perfect to go walk around and eat some sushis , pizza or steak just around the place. I will go back again when I’m hitting Caparica

Well, first I start by talking about David's extreme friendliness, he was a super welcoming person, gave us great advice and was always ready to help us, very attentive and helpful, in relation to David's house, the house is very beautiful, it is super super welcoming, we felt very good and super comfortable, it has an incredibly beautiful view and is close to the beach, it was a wonderful stay, I would definitely repeat it! 🥰🥰

Don't think twice- book this place! Dalila's place is absolutely stunning inside and out. The kitchen is adorable and stocked with all the tools you need, the entire home was so clean, and you just honestly cannot beat the views. The weather was super windy and rainy during our stay, but that just made cozying up inside feel even better. Lovely little cafe just up the road, groceries nearby, and an amazing seafood restaurant that Dalila was able to get us a reservation at (even when I asked way too last minute, lol). We will remember this romantic little getaway forever!

Ralph is a very attentive and personable host who communicated well throughout our stay with great recommendations for the local area. The house itself is simple and was perfect for what we were looking for, no frills but good amenities and very well located. Praia das macas is a very beautiful place, we could have stayed much longer + will be back! If you are looking for a totally anonymous and self contained Airbnb experience then this probably isn’t for you as Ralph (host) is more present than we are typically used to with Airbnb - the check in is in person rather than keyless and so on. However, with the recommendations, provided maps and detail about the town it was a very welcome addition to have an English speaking host who actively wanted to provide a good experience. If you are considering this area - go! One of the best places we have ever visited as a couple and all of the locals were extremely friendly.

We had an amazing stay at Bruno and Rita's property. It was so easy to just chill out and relax. The home had everything we needed with easy walks to grab food and hangout at the beach. The bed was super comfortable and the view from the bed and sound of the waves, was on point, it felt like the best dream before we fell asleep. Bruno is a kind and helpful host. It was fun and interesting to visit with him. We felt great energy from the host family.

We had a great stay! The house is simple, but very welcoming, full of charm and with an environment that made us feel right at home. Mrs. Isabel was always extremely friendly and always available, for anything. He immediately responded to all of our questions and resolved any situation with speed and good disposition. We had a lovely stay. Joao is very friendly and welcoming. Everything is as advertised and it's a show every day to open the door of the house on the ocean. Surf lesson in front of the house, very good neighboring restaurant. I recommend her house.

We had everything we needed :) Ricardo was very friendly and accommodating, since no one was in the accommodation before and after us, we were also able to postpone the check-in/out according to our wishes! Everything was clean and the amenities were exactly as described. Value is great! The house is a bit noisy, but the neighbors usually only make noise during the day, at night with the windows closed it is very quiet. We would come back:)

The place is beautiful! The spectacular sunsets, beautiful walks in the area and the trips to Sesimbra were so great. I can only rave about how incredible this area is. The property offers a very nice view in a quiet location. Shopping and great restaurants are also nearby. Lisbon is about 40 minutes by car on a pleasant route. Many stunning beaches are minutes away. Elisette was a wonderful hostess. She responded super quickly to all concerns and always helped, no matter how small the problem was. Your recommendations are also great. I can only recommend a stay at this property to everyone, it is definitely worth a visit! ☀️🐚

This was our second time staying in sesimbra, it's a beautiful town, beautiful. beach and lots of lovely local restaurants. we were delighted with the apartment, spacious bedrooms, and living area. The pool is super and the games room a great asset. Only small criticism is the kitchen would benefit from better/fresh cleaning products, the sponges were old/used sweeping brush wasn't great, and the hoover was low performing. We like to keep the house clean each day. Everything else about the apartment is super, lots of towels, big tv, great wifi. We would recommend!

We spent 2 weeks in Jose’s apartment with our 10-month baby. Everything went well, the place was cozy, clean and safe. The real highlight was the marvelous ocean view from the spacious balcony. Jose was very helpful and gave good recommendations via messages. There was a calm and relaxing atmosphere in the apartment, with just the equipment needed for a little family. The apartment and the view are even better than they look in the photos. Overall Jose’s place and Sesimbra gave us an unforgettable holiday, and we miss it already.

Absolutely beautiful, newly renovated, spacious and bright apartment right on the beach of Praia da California. The apartment was immaculately clean and the kitchen is still brand new. The highlight of course is being right on the beach and waking up and falling asleep every day to the sound of the waves crashing on to the shore. The ocean views are impeccable! It also only takes about a 2minute walk down the stairs to get to the beach. I went there in October and the beach was pretty much empty, weather still pretty warm & even the ocean was warm enough to swim in every day. You can tell the apartment is looked after very well by its owner, David and is also great for a longer stay. You have all cooking utensils and a washing machine to really make your stay comfortable. Overall, an amazing place to stay and David is an absolute please to communicate with and you can tell he really cares for his guests and the apartment. I hope to be back soon! Highly recommended!
