We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Scarness. It felt like a home rather than a rental. The home was immaculate, and super kid friendly; highly recommend for families. The cloudy couch has plenty of room for all! As for Kayla; she was very proactive and her response time was within minutes. She gladly helped us with flexible check in times, and personalised our stay (Kayla knew we had an infant and provided a portacot). Would highly recommend this property (and owner) to all. 👌🏽

Superb! We loved this beautifully and thoughtfully renovated property! Fabulous location - easy walk to the best vantage spot for sunsets and immersed in true serenity. This is a property that is out of the ordinary and done with love!

The house was in an exceptional location with fantastic views. A very comfortable and sapcious beach house. Recpetion staff very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely lovely villa in idyllic surroundings. The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds were very comfortable and the linen supply very good. Jane provided lots of helpful information in response to my questions. Although there are three other villas (to each side and in front) we were not overlooked and it was nice and private, even on the veranda. It’s a short walk to the pool, restaurants, the beach and to several bush walks. We had a great time. A little pricey but well worth it.

We stayed at this property for a special family event, and it was truly fantastic. It comfortably hosted our whole family and exceeded every expectation we had. The space was thoughtfully designed for all ages — from grandparents to kids — and everyone had a wonderful time. The facilities were exceptional, with everything we needed and more. It’s rare to find a place that balances comfort, functionality, and beauty so well. We made treasured memories here, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a stay that brings people together in the best possible way. Great place with plenty of space. Great location

We chose Joanne's property specifically for the location as it was close to family and we enjoyed our stay alot. The property is quirky, the views spectacular and the location peaceful. Unfortunately the weather gods were not on our side the weekend we stayed which did prove challenging, given some of the properties features. Those who stayed in the granny flat had an experience which was more like glamping. There is no way to enter the separate container, and the bathroom which is in a shed close by, without being fully exposed to the weather. Which meant dark, wet walks, across sodden grass. Whilst we were fulky aware of this setup when we booked it did impact our stay and is mentioning. The weather aside, we would definitely choose to stay again, in the hopes for finer weather. We would love to be able to fully enjoy the wonderful outdoor areas this property offers!

Highly recommend this accommodation, we felt right at home, and the entry and instructions were simple and Jackie was awesome at responding quickly.

Great immaculate unit. perfect for our needs, close to restaurants shops. Very pet friendly. Big fluffy towels, comfy beds. Everything you need. Will definitely be back

This is an absolute gem. We had Irish family over and they were enthralled with the house. It’s spacious, great for hosting eight people on the deck around the fab barbecue area and beautifully decorated. Would absolutely recommend!

Marilyn’s house is clean, spacious, bright and has a beautiful view of the sea and the K’gari island in the distance. The huge verandah with the relaxing furniture offers much enjoyment looking out onto the sea and Fraser Island . Everything in the house shows the love and warmth that Marilyn has, for her guests, because it feels home welcoming after a day out. A good supply of tea, coffee, butter, milk and more on arrival is a lovely gesture. She is truly a super host with much kind attention to the details of cleanliness and the quality of kitchen utensils. We have travelled widely and have used Airbnb accommodation in Europe (Spain, Italy, Greece ), Hong Kong, England, Wales, New Zealand and Australia, we realise that Marilyn’s house is very special because the host is exceptional. We were pleased to meet up with Marilyn on the day before our last day of stay. She is a jolly kind lady with much energy to make the house a great place for her guests to stay and enjoy. Thank you.

We had a great few days. The weather wasn’t at its best but we were still able to see many of the K’gari attractions. The large downstairs deck area at the house was certainly well used. As was the barbecue. The extra large fridges were appreciated too. Lovely spot to stay. Thank you John.

Pam’s place was fantastic. We had everything we needed and more. Kitchen was extremely well equipped and Pam supplied us with an outstanding food start up package. A birthday cake was even supplied. We would definitely stay here again. Very comfortable and plenty of room. We could not have asked for anything better.

Beautiful place , very welcoming . Gary Went above and beyond to help us with our needs & was responsive and helpful . Gardens very nice and well maintained , clean tidy comfortable outdoor seating . Would definitely stay again , and will be recommending to friends and family visiting Hervey Bay .

Family friendly accommodation with a peacefully great size backyard. Gosia was very friendly and accommodating. The location is a walkable distance from the beach and other places. We enjoyed our time there and would love to come back.

The family had a wedding to attend at Kingfisher Bay Kgari so we booked Rishendas beach house. Everyone felt comfortable, the home was well equipped and plenty big enough for our large group. The views were amazing, the resident kookaburras visited daily. The outdoor dining area with spa and BBQ on the deck overlooking the fabulous views was Amazing. We would definitely recommend Rishendas house and would love to return again for an Island holiday.

This place is amazing. It is beautiful and well organised. It had everything that we needed. Plus, Adam was very quick to respond. It looks better than pictures.

Loved the feel of the home, was very comfortable for oir 3 night stay. Perfect for our dogs as we could pop them in the dog run when we were out and about, and let them wander around while we were at the house. House had all of the essentials we needed 😊

I recently had a brief overnight stay at Clever's place - the Boma. The place was immaculate, accurately described, peacefully located & to top it all of Clever was extremely responsive and helpful - he even left my family and i small but meaningful touches such as Welcome water & chocolates. Clever's place, The Boma was an exceptional but short stay which made us wish we had spent more time there. I highly recommend Clever and his place The Boma to all! Thanks Clever

Absolutely stunning place, clean and tidy. Very large house, housed 2 families with small kids easily. plenty of room. Beds very comfy, big fridge and freezer. would 100% stay here again.
