Beachfront vacation rentals in Tombeau Bay

We have just returned to the UK after a 14 day vacation in the villa. We had a fantastic holiday the villa is beautiful inside and out. Perhaps our favourite area was the veranda. Its wraps around the villa and has many different seating areas. We spent most evenings out there. Garry is an amazing host he met us at the villa and showed us around also providing great information about Mauritius eating out beaches etc. He kindly allowed us to check out a little later. We ate out at Le Meridian and Revive several times they are local and within walking distance. Friendly staff and excellent food. La Voglia Matto Pizza eat in or takeaway is worth a visit. A nice and large studio with a great terrace. Very quiet yet centrally located. The beach and restaurants are within walking distance in about 10 minutes. If you want to drive to other beaches, a scooter or car is recommended. The landlords are very pleasant. There is plenty of hot water, the kitchen is well equipped and the rooms can be darkened with curtains. The bed is comfortable, the AC cools down, although it is also a bit noisy. Earplugs can help here. Everything is divided as shown in the pictures: a bathroom, a kitchen with seating, a bedroom and a living room with sofa and dining table.

Great place- everything we were looking for!

Fantastic location, directly on the beach, really quiet. House is decorated with taste and really feel comfortable. The pool is not too deep so rather safe. The beach is really quiet and nice. Swimming is easy and not deep for a long while. East coast is more exposed to wind but end of June we had pleasant weather every days, despite some occasional rain that never lasted long. Asmita the cleaning lady is really friendly but also knows to be discreet. She was really taking good care of the house and us. It’s a real plus to have her. A car is a must to quickly go around, shopping or for dinner. We hope to come back one day.

We had a very pleasant stay at Belle Haven ! We took full use of the two of the three balconies for breakfast and dinner or just to relax. The penthouse was very nice with some stunning views on the sunset. The equipment and facilities were just as described. Parking is really easy on front of the building woth lots of free spaces. The communication was just exemplary and always on point. Thank you ! We will recommend this place or possibly come back.

Such a nice place and right by the dock where you can book activities like 5 islands tour. People managing the place just downstairs were really lovely and helpful too, a couple of tiny issues were fixed really quickly and everyone was very responsive - would really recommend staying here!

Pascale's home is beautiful and situated in a quiet private neighborhood. The hosts are very warm, understanding and readily available to assist. The apartment is well furnished with all the equipment listed and pictures do not do justice to the amazing views on the backdrop.

We are very happy that we chose this place for our stay on the North shore. Ian was a great host, and he became our friend and a resourceful local guide to all things that we wanted to do on the island. We had a great time and even extended our stay.

Do not hesitate to book this place, it is absolutely perfect. The photos don’t show all of the gorgeous interiors. The location couldn’t be any better, right on the beachfront, a short walk from a great pizza place, next to where the dolphin tours start and a short drive to some of the main hikes we wanted to do - la morne and 7 waterfalls. Our hosts were so helpful and there is a daily maid service which allowed us to relax more. Can’t recommend more!

Lovely host, lovely place.

The Villa is amazing. Very peaceful, safe and has a beautiful beach front view. Its extremely spacious with a huge living room and dining. Kitchen has all the amenities required. The best part is the outside sitting area where they also have an 8 seater dining table, where you can sit and enjoy the view of the calm beach. The view of the sunset is breathtaking from here. Swimming pool is very clean and regularly maintained. Master bedroom is quite big. The host of the villa Asvin, is extremely helpful and friendly. Him and the manager Sudesh made sure that we checked in properly and made sure that we were comfortable during our entire stay. Some good restaurants to try, nearby, are Village Cafe (Bf) Chessy Latte (Pizzas), Happy Rajah (Indian) and Chamarel Panoramic Viewpoint Restaurant (Amazing view). Grocery store, London bay, is also very nearby. Overall we loved the place and had an amazing time at the Villa !!

Michel is a pleasant, discreet and helpful host, very responsive and gives good advice he booked all our excursions for us, including the restaurant reservation, taxi and rental car. The accommodation is clean and comfortable and exactly as described. I highly recommend it.

I had a great stay! The place was very nice, clean, and exactly as described. It’s in a great location - just a short walk from a beautiful beach. The apartment was well equipped with everything I needed, and the host was welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. Would definitely recommend!

Irene and her husband are exceptional people with a welcome that immediately puts you at ease. They are discreet but if you need them, they always respond. I felt very good at their place, a peaceful haven. I highly recommend all these restaurants near the beach 200 m away, which is beautiful. Thank you again Irene.

A fantastic place for a great holiday. Immaculate, extremely well equipped, stunning decoration, extremely tasteful furniture & fittings, everything you need and more. I can personally recommend Romain’s place to anyone. This was our fourth visit to Mauritius , and was the best ever. We will definitely be back in the future. Romain went out of his way to arrange my wife’s 60th birthday celebrations. On our arrival we were surprised with Champagne , and he even arranged a birthday cake the night of the celebration. Thank you so much Romain, you’re an absolute star! Till next time!

We had the most unforgettable 5 day holiday at Villa Lousiane in Mauritius. The location was exactly as described peaceful, beautiful, and just steps away from the stunning beach, with private access where we enjoyed some amazing snorkelling. Everything exceeded our expectations. The villa itself was cosy, clean, and well maintained. The pool and the vibe of the beach and breeze was simply magical. we also loved that everything was easily accessible supermarkets, mall, the airport, and restaurants were all close by. A big thank you to Brigette and Smitha, who was always available with tips and recommendations, who ensured everything ran smoothly at all times. Their hospitality made our stay even more special. A lovely bonus was getting to try authentic Mauritian cuisine served right at the villa ,flavourful and truly a treat. Villa Lousiane gets 5 stars from us! My girlfriend and I have left a piece of our heart here, and we can’t wait to come back for a longer stay.

I had a fantastic stay of five nights, and it was absolutely worth it. Ashwin was incredibly helpful and proactive, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The flat was cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything needed for a seamless stay. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a hassle-free and enjoyable experience.

We are very satisfied with our stay at this beautiful apartment. We travelled as a family and a baby bed and a baby chair was provided for us. The apartment was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Wonderful with daily cleaning and a welcome meal upon arrival. The neighborhood was calm. The surroundings are so beautiful. Lovely garden, nice pool area and a beautiful beach with plenty of space. Christopher was very kind and helpful. We are especially grateful that we could have an early check in after a long flight. We would love to come back.

The location is stunning and the accommodation extremely functional as well as comfortable so we spent much of our stay at the house and were able to relax totally. The place is within easy reach of restaurants, shops, beaches and other necessary amenities although it would have been limited without a hire car. Mathilde was great throughout, always there if we needed anything, extremely helpful but not at all intrusive. We had a late arrival and she facilitated a meal at the house and essential supplies for us which made the start of our holiday much easier than it could have been.

We stayed with my parents (four adults and two small children). On arrival (flexible schedule) small touches were waiting for us (appreciable), we discovered a house that matched the description (secure, spacious, clean, with everything necessary for daily life…) in a small quiet street, just a 5-minute walk from the beach. Pleasant pool and possibility to park a car in the yard (even two) Yoshi and his mom are very nice people, we highly recommend their rental!!

Absolutely loved staying at Antonio's apartment! The view of the ocean from the balcony is spectacular. The apartment is new and kept exceptionally clean. Loved cooking in the kitchen which was well stocked in utensils for all our cooking needs - this is a rare find as most self catering accommodation lacks all cooking essentials. The quality of kitchen utensils was exceptional for a holiday stay, which I personally enjoyed. Antonio is fast to respond to any questions. Also loved the local hospitality of Isabelle and Yanick. This apartment was definitely a home away from home in its comfortably!

Exceptional view of Le Morne. The accommodation is very well equipped and very pleasant to stay in. The little extra, the possibility of parking. Délia was very responsive when communicating. We'll be back!

We stayed at Celine's place for 4 days in June. The place is exactly as it looks in the pictures. The apartment is very beautiful, modern and chic. The beach is a stone's throw away from the apartment and public beaches of Belle Mare and Palmar are very close by. There are also 2 restaurants at a walkable distance from the apartment. The staff is very friendly and the host is also very responsive. I really appreciate how well thought of the apartment is - it has all the amenities one could ask for! It is helpful to have a car as the public beaches or supermarkets are a short drive away. Overall we had a very pleasant stay in this beautiful apartment and I highly recommend it to anyone considering a stay on the East side of the island.

Roshni's apartment is beautiful.....clean, tastefully decorated, relaxing and well equipped, with a million dollar view.....watching the sunset over the bay was amazing. The photos don't do it justice! Most notable about our stay was the kindness of the host. We were ill during our stay and Roshni was so full of kindness and care...a truly 5 star host!
