The pearl in Tolvsbo

A very nice accommodation with a lake plot and beach in a fantastic location. Inside, there is a large area that combines kitchen with living room containing a cozy fireplace. Two bedrooms and a bathroom. No washing machine. Space for six people as the sofa is a sofa bed. The water is not drinkable but washable. There is a filled 10-liter canister on arrival that can be refilled inside the village's local Ica store. Small cottage on the plot with an additional four beds. Rowboat and canoe are down on the beach. Fishing license required.

There are many nice things in our area. Not least all the nice Dala villages, fishing in the river, the beautiful mushroom forest, hiking, paddling, biking, etc. Avesta Golf is "our neighbor" and you have the golf course at a convenient distance from the property. In summer, we recommend "Verket" and "Avesta Art" where you can experience the magical mix of history, art and modern technology. Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop, 4-minute walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. Welcome to our cozy log cabin — a serene place to relax and adventure! There are 6 beds divided into 2 bedrooms and a small loft with 2 beds. There is a small cabin during summer time with 2 beds that can be rented for a fee of SEK 350/day. Cleaning for a fee. Bed linen/towels for a fee. The cottage has a large porch with stunning lake view. Walking distance to swimming area with sandy beach. Discover museum, cafés, go-karts, Spa, fishing trips, ski downhill/ length.

Apartment in the middle of Söderbärke

Accommodation in the middle of the village, close to Ica, swimming at Hagudden, Folkets park and the harbor. Nice nature and good opportunities for outdoor life. Cross-country tracks in Norberg (30 min) Smedjebacken (10 min) and Ljungåsen (45 min). Alpine skiing Uvbergsbacken in Smedjebacken and 45 min to Romme Alpin. In the summer there are many lakes for swimming, fishing and paddling. There are nice gravel roads and paths for mtb biking.

Here you live in a cozy log house from 1909 with modern amenities. Walking distance to Ludvika's range of shops and restaurants. In winter, there are good opportunities for skiing, both in the tracks and downhill. Romme alpine is 30 min away. Summer time there is possibility for fishing in Övre Hillen. Fish from the jetty or rent our plastic boat with electric motor (SEK 150/half day 8-12, 12-16). Fishing license 50kr/ day.

Majsan Stuga

Maisans Stuga is a small but nice cottage. It is idyllically located right on the waterfront. You can swim in the lake, fish, hike in the surrounding nature, cycle, read on the veranda directly on the lake or simply enjoy the view and unwind. In Kloten, about 10 km away, there is the possibility to rent canoes or bicycles. In Kopparberg about 12 km away are good shopping, cafes, restaurants, museums...
