Vacation rentals with lake access in Tobermory

Beautiful spot! The home is comfortable and spacious, and had everything we needed. The beach front is absolutely beautiful, and the general area very quiet and peaceful. Laurie was a very communicative host and responded very quickly.

Great little place, smaller than it seems in pictures but perfect for what we needed. Seemed a tad overwhelming the close in and close out procedures but we managed to get through them. Place was clean and very well equipped with necessary things! Wished paddle boards were out for usage but activities were locked in a garage with no access. Overall would recommend location, the view was exactly what we needed.

This was a lovely place to stay, a home away from home. The home was immaculate, the surroundings peaceful. There were beautiful views out of all the extra large windows, with a walk out to the patio from the master bedroom. With a large firepit, hammock and bbq, the outside area was covered for comfort. The inside was very spacious, with a stocked kitchen, games and reading material. Our host was great at communicating. We would definately recommend this place for a great getaway.

Our stay at Quinn’s place absolutely exceeded expectations! He was very responsive and helpful from the start of booking right up until check out, his maintenance team is amazing, and the home was immaculate. Everything was as described and very clean. Lots of great amenities and you cannot beat the location — the view is STUNNING! We had a fantastic time and cannot wait to return and make more family memories next year

The home was beautiful, spacious and well laid out; the star room is definitely the screened in porch which provides enjoyment in rain or shine, day or night and keeps the bugs at bay. Kids had a fantastic time playing ping pong (which was a first for them) and the double hammock in the yard provided an excellent excuse for afternoon napping, The kitchen had pretty much everything you could need (we brought our single brew keurig for ease) and is well thought out. The oven was a good size and heated up pretty quick. BBQ was well located and same with the fire pit. Loved the fairy garden space too! The neighborhood is quaint and remote, met a couple of the neighbors (very friendly) and admired one award winning garden! It was easy to find the path to the lake; the spot is shallow and rocky, but fun for skimming stones at sunset! We spent several days at the main beach in Port Elgin which was only 20 minutes away and provided a great excuse to swing by Hi-Berry farm!

Alysa is a great host, very responsive. The location is beautiful. The sunset view from the dock and the dining table are stupendous. We had great weather and the Bruce Trail is a great hike. One must remember when renting a cottage by a fresh water lake the water will be pumped out of the lake. We had a problem with the filtering. It clogged and the water ran very slow. Alysa contacted a local contractor and the problem was resolved. She made it right.

Our trip was a brief one night, but it was an amazing stay. Cathy went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The Boat Bow studio is very homely, tidy and as described, has everything you need for a stay. The surrounding garden area with sauna, spa, and plenty of areas to relax and unwind. Short walk to the beach. I hope I can make it back for another stay while I am in Canada!

Tess is lovely and their place is in the best possible location by the beach. Literally steps away. The weather was a little cold and rainy for late May but it made for a cozy retreat with lovely beach walks. You can walk beautiful long strips of uninterrupted beach. Library was nearby if you needed books for “staying in” days and across the street from it was an amazing, authentic Italian sandwich and gelato place the hosts suggested (Che Roba! Soooo good) Overall my husband and I loved it and would definitely go back!

We are highly recommended this place . Such a beautiful apartment with waterfront view. We really like how everything was set up in the house. Kitchen area has everything you need. The weather wasn’t perfect but we still have great time . Apartment is located in a walking distance from everything you need. Local restaurants, waterfront, trail, ets. We are really happy and thankful for this place.

We had the pleasure of staying at Jennifer’s place for a few nights, and we absolutely loved it. The location is perfect, right next to the beach, offering stunning views. We’ll definitely be returning in the future!

Our stay at Christina and Mike’s place exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The property is even more stunning in person than in the photos. It is immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. The location was perfect, offering both tranquility and easy access to local attractions. We loved the cruiser bikes as it was a great way to explore the town. Christina and Mike were incredible hosts—quick to respond, attentive, and full of great recommendations for local restaurants and activities. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable stay!

We had a wonderfully cozy and welcoming stay at Dave's place, feeling instantly at home. The location was perfect, and the space was just the right intimate size for my wife and I. We slept soundly and peacefully. Its prime location, a short distance from both the lively Blue Mountain Village and the charming surrounding towns, makes it ideal for a romantic weekend escape.

Our family of 4 had an amazing time at the waters edge cottage. Very fortunate to find 3 nights available here.

We enjoyed our stay in Wiarton at Ildiko's cottage on the lake. He facilitated a smooth stay for us with prompt communication, clear instructions, detailed guidelines. The cottage is tucked away on a quiet street with friendly neighbors making you feel right at home. The lake access is spectacular especially with the availability of kayaks and paddle boats at the cottage, giving you an adventure right at home as well as a leg or upper body workout. The cottage is located in an excellent area, not too far from Collingwood to go jet skiing in the warmer months, not too far from Tobermory to go hiking, sightseeing, scuba-diving and not too far from the nearest town to restock on basic amenities. Overall we found our cottage stay to be relaxing and a good recharge for us, we would recommend family and friends to stay here given the opportunity.

We had such a relaxing few days at this lakeside oasis. Watching the water on Lake Huron was magical and the beaches and rocks were wonderful. So centering!

David was very accommodating and responsive host. He always wanted to give us the most accurate description of what to expect. The cottage is very nice and quite, we were there for the weekend along with another couple in the property in the neighboring house. We had a great stay and enjoyed being outside for the most of the time enjoying the kayaking and the outdoor fire camp. The house is nice and comfy, has all necessary things for a short couple's retreat. Overall great and we already booked to return in the summer, hopefully with a warmer weather labeling us to swim and snorkel in the beautiful area.

We spent two days in Kathy’s cottage. Great location and perfect for paddlers. Kathy was friendly and responsive for our questions. This cottage has a stunning views even better than the pictures. The only thing I don’t like is that the twelve mile bay road was too bumpy for my mini cooper. We did enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend this property.
