We (a family with a young daughter) stayed four nights at Sebastiano’s place and had a wonderful time. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, very spacious (even larger than expected from the photos), and the balcony and terrace offer stunning views of Lake Lugano. Gandria is a charming, picturesque village with a few nice places to eat. The bus and boat stations are just a short walk away, and there are lovely paths for hiking and strolling. We don’t have a car and got around entirely with public transport — it takes a little planning but works very well. Sebastiano was a great host — very easy to communicate with and proactive, which made everything smooth and stress-free.

Lovely stay in Lugano! Quick walk to train station and 15 min walk to lake. Modern and updated apartment with stunning views from every room. Apartment had everything - from a washer/dryer to a well stocked kitchen - there was even a levoit fan. Fast WiFi too! While this is listed as a 1 bedroom, the living room has a door and sleeper couch for privacy as a 2nd bedroom if needed. The host Gea was lovely and so helpful. Thank you!

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. It was all as described. The three of us (2 adults and a toddler) had plenty of space in the apartment. The balcony is somewhat dangerous for small children as they can climb up on one side and fall down. You should never leave children unattended on the balcony! The view is great and we were also able to use the pool (end of April). Communication with Valentina was excellent. She always responded quickly and was very helpful! They even organized a high chair for us! The only thing we would criticize is the parking. With a slightly wider car, it is difficult to park on the steep slope within the parking lots, so that other vehicles can easily pass by and you can still get in and out. All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much, thank you!

A great, sparkling clean apartment with a beautiful view of nature and lots of peace. The bed with the high-quality mattress was super comfortable, the kitchen is excellently equipped for self-catering, the bathroom is modern and everything is very cozy. In about 7 minutes, you are at the bus stop or at one of the Publibike stations. We were very, very happy with the choice of apartment. Barbara responded super quickly and check-in was very straightforward with a code. Thanks Barbara!

October 2024, 2 people We felt very comfortable in this beautiful, well-kept apartment. It is high quality and fully equipped. 2 equivalent great bedrooms with very comfortable beds and quality bedding. Very spacious dining area, also suitable for working, great Internet throughout. Fantastic view from the beautiful balcony and from one of the bedrooms. This apartment is just GREAT! Beautiful, quiet surroundings and just a few minutes' walk to the lake and promenade. Brigitte is a friendly, attentive host and helps where she can. It is important to pay attention to the check-in and check-out times and a few rules, then you can spend a fantastic vacation here.

Beautiful and spotless apartment with lake and mountain views. The place is equipped with everything you might need for your stay. The host is very proactive and helpful, and the best thing about it is that it's within walking distance to everything in town. I enjoyed it so much that I extended my stay

The apartment is big, clean, equipped and central. Great location in the middle of Lugano (close to the station, the lake, restaurants), with two big bedrooms, nice towels and attention to details. Luisa, herself, is a very kind, attentive and responsive host. She made sure our family felt like home, providing us with a baby crib, high chair, barriers for the bed and some nice toys for the kids to play while there. They were surely happy. Grazie, Luisa!

I liked everything, the photos responded to reality . And the apartment has everything you need and even more. The view from the balcony is just great, in the morning you drink the most bliss. All issues were resolved very quickly. Recommended .

We enjoyed staying with Renzo and his family very much. The apartment is spacious, perfectly furnished and clean. The family runs the AirBnB independently, with a lot of dedication and warmth. We also very much appreciated the small amenities (bread, jam, butter, coffee and drinks) on arrival. A crib and high chair were provided for our son. We highly recommend the place with Renzo and his family.

Cleto was very friendly and always responded immediately when we had a question. He also picked us up by car from the bus station. With all the food and luggage on foot up the mountain would have been very exhausting - if we had found the right way at all! We were also allowed to deposit our luggage before check-in and after check-out. The place was very nice and spacious and we were allowed to spend a nice Easter weekend there. Thank you, Cleto!

The Grischina in Locarno is a beautiful apartment on the Lido di Locarno with great views of Lake Maggiore and the mountains. The terrace is huge... All rooms are clean and cozy. We felt very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped. The bathhouse is right across the street and the center of Locarno is a quick walk away. The nearest bus stop is a 2-minute walk away. We had a great 5 days in this quiet yet central apartment. We will definitely come back. Arrivederci Grischina!

The cool toys for the kids are worth mentioning :) Also decorated with love. Excursion tips are available. The hostess always responded very quickly and also introduced herself personally. Pierangela was particularly generous with her time when I was looking for some historical information on the area. we only stayed two nights but enjoyed the lovely walk up to Selvapiana and Navone. The church is well worth visiting. The local Crott restaurants are also good, you might need to book a table, open in summer from April.

We highly recommend this place as it is also suitable if you are traveling with children. The apartment was very clean and we particularly liked the good equipment with many practical details (sockets, lamps, shoe cabinets, wardrobe, etc.). We were traveling by public transport and a short distance to the apartment runs every half hour bus no. 311 to Locarno, which was very convenient for us. And the view of the lake is really very nice!

Our daughter loved the pool. It's ideal for families. The apartment was clean and perfect for our stay. Locarno is accessible within 20min or a 5min bus journey. Accessing the flat was step-free via the lift, ideal for buggies. Would book again.
