Ben's flat was very clean with everything you need. It was spacious and very comfortable for two people. Clear instructions given for entry to flat. A big plus with a secure parking space is a bonus. Great location, less than 10 minute walk into the town itself. Good transport for exploring Knaresborough and Harragate by train. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We had a really nice visit. One thing that stood out was how peaceful and quiet it was. It felt like we were in the countryside. We both slept well and the bed was comfortable. The location was fantastic, it was a few minutes walk to the city walls and very close to York minster. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend the apartment. Many thanks

Great communication from the hosts prior to arriving, did not need to contact during our stay. The apartment is in a great location and easily walkable into the centre within minutes. Very well equipped kitchen , with many utensils, glasses, plates etc. Lovely living room with a comfy sofa and added bonus of Apple TV, plus a DVD player with a selection found in the bedroom. Great double bedroom, with blackout blind, wardrobe and drawers. All in all we had a fabulous 2 night stay in an amazing private apartment! Thanks for our stay 😄

This was our third stay in Brooklands Hideaway and it was a great as ever. If you are looking for a stay in Scarborough then it really is worth it. The flat is spacious, clean and we feel right at home. It is also just a short walk down to the beach and into town while also being tucked away from everything so is relaxing and quiet. The host is also very helpful and accommodating and check in instructions are very easy to follow.

Tom's place is very cozy, modern, and clean—it truly exceeds what you see in the photos! The neighborhood is also quiet and beautiful. If you bring your pets, you'll definitely feel the extra warmth, as they've thoughtfully provided a shower area and a bedroom for them. Such a loving family!

Perfect location! Easy walking distance to everything including The Shambles & so many restaurants and great shops. Flat was comfortable size with many amenities provided. Instructions during check in were very helpful and easy to understand. Would not recommend for those with severe mobility issues. The apartment is up 3 flights of stairs. The bedrooms have a slight slope to them. This was not an issue for us but if you have mobility issues this may not be the place for you. I recommend this to those looking for a flat close to everything. Also some nights were more livelier than others. Saturday night had lots of street noise from those enjoying night life. If you don’t plan to join in on the fun during that time, I recommend ear plugs if you are turning in early and sensitive to outside noise. Sunday night was very quiet and no ear plugs needed. None of these things were an issue for us but could be for others. Bathroom was on the small side but suited our needs.

We loved our stay at Photographer's House! Ashley was quick to let us know we could get in early and was on hand if we needed anything! He even messaged to arrange postage of some earrings that we'd left (when they were found during the clean). The house was great as was the area. Lots of different options for trips out not too far away too. Kids and adults loved it and are keen to return! Thanks for everything! We also learnt a lot about dolphins via the Dilo stories!

We had a wonderful stay! It was perfectly situated for us, immaculate and so peaceful. Lucy’s directions were very clear and we had no problem finding the cottage. Would 100% stay here again when visiting family, thank you!

Lovely place and was clean+smelt nice upon entering, hosts were fast at replying and attended to all questions asked. The stairs are a little crazy and definitely different but made staying there funnier - only thing I would say that was a negative about the whole thing was the wobbly stair railing but besides from that a nice quiet area with a cosy hot tub. Thanks guys!

We had such a wonderful stay! The house was absolutely beautiful—full of charm and character. It was spotless when we arrived, and you can tell the hosts really care about keeping it well-maintained. The location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to see and do, but still felt peaceful and relaxing. We loved coming back here after a day of exploring. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!

We had a great stay and it was perfect for our needs. Spacious modern bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, very quiet. Plenty of parking on high street. The village shop and the nearby pub and cafe was an added bonus.

We had a great weekend at Amy's home, the view is stunning, as is the house, with a great open plan space, perfect for friends to get away. There is everything you might possibly need in the kitchen which is well laid out. The beds are very comfy, it was quite difficult to get out of them on Sunday morning to be out by 10 😀. Amy was very helpful when we had an issue with the showers. Great stay and highly recommended.

Could not give a better review. The house was cosy, spotless and had everything we needed for both of us and our 1 year old. Bed super comfy, gorgeous kitchen and we loved the snug! Andy was so quick to respond to any queries, ensured we had parking and was so helpful when we messaged. Thanks so much!

We have stayed at Theres’s apartment every January for at least 5 years and we love it. Theresa is a wonderful and friendly host and the apartment is amazing! Can’t wait to return!

Dagi and Chris were superlative hosts. They reached out shortly after my check-in to ensure everything was good (it was!). When I had difficulty locating something, Chris dropped by almost immediately to assist. They haven’t neglected anything in the extra touches: from the arrival chocolates to the breakfast pastries and cereals and milk, to the coffee, to the facial wipes, everything reflected thoughtfulness on their part. The flat itself is perfectly situated. It’s less than five minutes to walk to a local grocery store, only ten minutes to The Shambles as well as to a well-stocked M and S, and under 15 minutes to The Minister.

Our stay at Rachel’s cottage was excellent. Every thing we needed and spotlessly clean. Rachel kindly left us breakfast and is going the extra mile by sending me my t shirt home that I had left behind! The space is small but perfectly formed.

Karen was extremely helpful and communicative. She gave us lots of great recommendations and left us some very nice goodies such as milk, cereal, and bread that saved us a stop to the grocery store. Her home was lovely, clean, and walkable to everything we did on our visit. We would absolutely return on our next visit!

we had a fantastic week at clives riverside apartment. the view was spectacular especially on a sunny day. the surrounding area and town centre was a lovely place and plently to do with nice tea rooms and restraunts. we also got given some great reccomendations from our hosts. When we arrived we were suprised with fresh flowers in the living room and a supply of essentials for breakfast, such as milk, butter, crumpets, etc. Thank you to Clive and Julie who were very friendly, helpful and fast responding during our stay. and a special mention to Garvin and Anne Marie who helped us with all of our needs, help us find where we wanted to go and were very friendly. Thanks again Clive, Julie, Garvin and Anne Marie for our special holiday!

We enjoyed our stay in Cloughton it was lovely. Just what we were looking for in an Air b n b . The accommodation was spacious enough for 2 adults and our wee dog . There was tea, coffee, sugar , salt , pepper, butter , jam and milk . All these items were very useful as it saves you bringing your own. Towels and linen were lush. Welcome pack was extensive and very useful. I particularly enjoyed our bottle of wine too . Very nice touch . Highly recommend John’s accommodation. .

Fantastic stay, honestly a 9.8 out of 10. Pro's: - 5 min walk to the shop and 7 min walk to the pub. 25 min walk to town or 8 min drive. - Spacious, lots of room to relax - The kitchen had every utensil: microwave, fridge, freezer, oven, even spices!! - The living room was cosy and Vic left a small bottle of prosecco for us (very kind) - Massive mirrors and a very comfortable bed - Extra towels and sheets - Large shower, decent pressure Con's - The shower heat couldn't be adjusted - perhaps a small fix? - Wifi is a little slow if you want to watch films or videos, but not a major issue Would recommend and stay again.

Everything to optimise your guest experience has been considered here by Mark & Ali. Hassle free parking arrangements and so close to the centre. Really comfortable beds and sofa with high quality furnishings and linen. Would absolutely recommend this place and wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in York after staying here - this experience has definitely created a whole new airbnb benchmark!
