Apartment vacation rentals in Thimphu

The place is clean, warm and homely. We had an accident on the way and the hosts went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. They even arranged to get our bikes repaired. Their hospitality was exceptional to say the least. Do try the local dishes here, they taste particularly amazing as they are made with so much love.

The apartment is very well located at centre of Thimphu town. Most of the most important tourist spots and cafes. Also, being part of the main road (one-way), finding a local taxi is very easy almost at all points of the day. The apartment includes one large living room with a large bedroom and a large bathroom. Kitchen is part of the living room itself. The bedroom windows were facing west side and got ample sun in afternoons. Our host has equipped it with all the modern amenities like room heaters, microwave and water heater. There's a small quantity of cutlery for those who may like to cook (we didn't). We stayed only two nights but this apartment is perfectly suited for anyone looking for a longer stay in Thimphu. We highly recommend this host too.

Sonam’s Place is really awesome and absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. host went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home,Place is much more beautiful and bigger than pictures. Communication was seamless! The host was responsive , Highly recommended . We will surely stay on our next travel.

It’s a pleasant experience to stay at Tandin’s place. Host is very responsive and helpful in giving supporting. the place is exact as the photos and the surrounding view is peaceful in particular in the morning with the sun rise, blue skies, greenery etc. It’s picturesque.

Tandin's place was great! Balcony overlooking the old fortress and mountains, clean space with all the essentials. The internet was not working due to an outage, but he solved this easily with topping up our data to use as a hotspot! Very responsive and accommodating. Would recommend for long or short stay in Thimphu.

Great place, nice wood floor, spacious rooms, comfortable bed. Delicious food and breakfast options downstairs in the cafe with a lovely rescue cat. Also very good location right in the center... Only thing I didn't like was not having a lift but it's not a big deal... Would visit again anytime!

Dechen and her team are wonderful people. They were friendly, helpful and helped us check in easily and comfortably. The apartment is lovely, and had everything we needed, in a very peaceful area. We are glad we stayed with Dechen.

Pee was out but his brother and his wife were there - and they really made me feel at home and treated me as a friend. They treated me with local delicacies which was made at home and helped me move about - it was a really nice stay.
