Houseboat vacation rentals in Thiérache

We stayed one night at Marteen's. Spacious and original experience sleeping on a houseboat! We would have liked to go canoeing but the owner was not available that day to help us launch it. Just this little regret that would have made our stay perfect!

Close to metro and relatively easy to get into the city. I ended up taking a car-service back at night. The studio was very homey-- great to have an ensuite, kitchen, and double bed all to myself at this Price. Karen was lovely!

A moment out of time! We loved our stay at Homeboat. Peaceful environment on the canal, we had the chance to enjoy extremely favorable weather, which allowed us to enjoy the terrace until sunset... magical and very relaxing. Beautiful services of the accommodation, everything is available and very responsive host. 2 small areas for improvement for us: a blind in the children's room, probably present before but missing during our stay. And a small sign announcing the rental would be a plus, because we did not find homeboat right away, but it may be just us;-) and these are two details that do not tarnish the experience in any way. Our only regret is not taking an extra night!

The location of this houseboat can’t be beat! Also, for the location and money, you will not find more space available. It worked very well for our family of 5. Be sure to be outside at sunset…walk 20 seconds under the bridge and catch an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower. We dined above deck most occasions and enjoyed the views of the river. The beds were comfortable and the shower was a delightful surprise as well. My 11 year old described it as a sensory overload with water coming at you from so many spouts…ha!. We loved it. Also, Therese and her family are super helpful with advice and help if questions or a need arose. The boat itself was made in 1931 and man, it is gorgeous. This thing would easily cost a fortune to construct today given the superb quality of the wood and craftsmanship. Keep in mind that you are staying on a boat and not in a hotel room and you will love it.

We (Mom, dad, and kids of 12 and 15 years) had a great stay in Tom's boat. The boat was in the city of Gent when we rented it, and we really like the city. We were right next to the tram and bus stop, so it was very easy to get around, and it was only a small 30 min walk to the center. Tom has done a great job with this boat. It is huge, so there is a lot of space, and you can really feel that Tom is an artist and has a great eye for beautiful, funny and quirky stuff, so you can spend a lot of hours just enjoying the boat. We also loved to sit outside on the patio, enjoying canal life :D As Tom also wrote to us, it is not a five star hotel, it is a home, but we also felt very much at home and just relaxed a lot. There is 3 bedrooms, so it's just perfect for us. Tom is a very nice guy, and he gave us lots of great recommendations to the local area. It is really worth listening to his suggestions, and he will gladly answer any question you may have. If you are looking for something homie and unique, I strongly recommend Toms boat (And we would love to come back in the future).

This is our second time staying. Very nice, soothing, very pretty places.

An unusual short stay on the banks of the Marne for a business trip from my spouse. Accommodation on a houseboat where we had the captain's cabin. Entry through the cockpit at the back of the Marboré boat where we access the dedicated space, consisting of a kitchen with all the necessities, a dining area, the captain's bed very comfortable, (a TV for rainy days very appreciated with Netflix, wifi) and a small very functional bathroom. A little cocoon where we felt good in a peaceful and very quiet environment, a couple of cormorants nearby and this morning greeted by a couple of geese who were happy to poop. Everything is together for a timeless stay away from everything, while being very close to Paris and Disneyland. A big thank you to you Borislava for your welcome and your smile as well as your discretion. Feel free to take the time for a refreshing break on the Marboré in Lagny-sur-Marne.

You feel like a family and are warmly welcomed and really shown what humanity is. We had an amazing stay and felt welcome from the first second. Words can't describe to some great people this is. This houseboat, along with the others like it, is a lovely place to stay off the beaten path but not too far outside Maastricht proper. The boat is cute and comfortable and is for all intents and purposes a small apartment. Don’t expect much space, but there are thoughtful details and it’s overall very pleasant. It definitely is worth renting a bike for mobility, though the ones offered by the company are quite in bad shape. Finally, there can be very gentle rocking of the boat on the water, but this is minimal and should not bother any but the most sensitive of individuals. Overall, a full recommendation, thank you!

We had a great time staying at Zoë's place! The boat was nice and coasy and really close to the city centre. The hosts, Zoë and Sebas were also really friendly! Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay on the houseboat. The location in the marina was peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature, making it a perfect spot to relax. The boat was very clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay.

The stay in the houseboat at the Marina was great. The houseboat was super clean, the beds were nice and everything was present. With four adults, it is not super spacious if you can only be inside due to the winter cold, but it was easy to do. The location is very nice with a great view and you will be in town in no time. It was a very nice stay and I look forward to coming back again in the summer.

We spent a day at an event within our company: influencers event as part of World Health Health Day. The setting of the Seine House perfectly met our need for disconnection out of Paris and recono to ourselves and nature. Anne-Laure was very proactive and flexible, allowing us to carry out this event without any hassle. The location of the house can surprise at first, because it is after the Marina (boat parking to cross), but once the surroundings are explored it is easy to meet there. The place is full of charm, quiet and very well exposed, we were lucky enough to have the sun with us all day. Super stay in a calm neighbourhood. Been to the Olympics and it was wonderful to relax on the boat. Catherine is very responsive and super friendly. All questions answered quickly. Definitely recommended!
