Only a very short drive is the coast. Miles of beautiful beaches overlooked by impressive castles. What could be better?

A hidden gem within the centre of Alnwick for self-sustaining modern guests. Everything you need is just a short walk away including the world renowned Alnwick Castle & Gardens. Our flat has two good sized bedrooms one with a Kingsize bed with fresh Egyptian cotton bedding and there are an additional two comfortable sofa beds. Bedroom one has an ensuite with shower and there is also a main bathroom with a bathtub. A lovely light and spacious flat including a lounge-kitchen room.

The Bear & Bank House

A unique listed building in the heart of Alnwick, The Bear and Bank House gets its name from its rich history, when a Victorian barber reportedly kept bears in the basement. The other half of its name comes from the fact the building was first built as a savings bank around 1852. The two bedroom property is fully refurbished throughout providing a great place to stay, set across three floors the bear and bank is accessed through a private door on the pedestrianised Narrowgate.

During school summer hols please only book either 3 nights from a Friday or 4 nights from a Monday. Please note that there is only a shower at Juliet Cottage. We do have a large baby bath for little ones who are staying.
