This is a rental cottage by the sea on Naoshima, a sacred place for art. There are two buildings, one on the ocean side and one on the mountain side, and Kai is the building on the ocean side. Free parking is available on site, which is rare in Naoshima. The building is a detached two-story building, with 6 beds in the bedroom on the ground floor and 2 futons in the Japanese-style room on the second floor, accommodating up to 6-8 people. There is a family-type kitchen and washing machine, so it can be used not only for family and friends, but also for student training camps, seminar trips, etc. It is a 3-minute walk from OHANA to the Venetian Art Site and a 2-minute walk from the nearest bus stop, making it an ideal base for sightseeing while staying on Naoshima. You can rent a small old house and a large Japanese garden, limited to one group per day. Spend your days like a local at this place, which is close to the Seto Inland Sea. We have 2 electric bicycles and 5 bicycles available. They are available for free to guests. You can also take your bike on the ferry to Naoshima and Teshima. Insects may enter the house depending on the season, as the garden is close to the old house. We are taking measures, but please refrain from booking if you are not good with insects. When you come by car, we ask you to check in by yourself. When you come by train or bus, we can pick you up and drop you off at Uno Station. There is another traditional house nearby. This room is on the second floor of a two-story building. There is an entrance and shower room on the ground floor, and there is a separate entrance and a restaurant. We've carefully designed the fixtures and layout so that you can enjoy this facility at your leisure, as well as use it as a place to stay while traveling. In the dining room with an island kitchen, you can enjoy music with high-quality speakers. Enjoy the scent and feel of the rare pine flooring. For the bedroom area, we have thick futons instead of beds, also with small children in mind. In addition, the futon area is slightly elevated with tatami mats. It is also very close to Teshima Yokoo House and is in the area where you can find small shops and eating places. Haus2354 is a Japanese style house with Japanese style floor bedding, and we rent out a whole house during your stay. There are direct boats from Teshima to Shodoshima, Naoshima and Inujima. This place could be your base for island hopping considering its good access to the port.
