Pack a picnic hamper, fishing rods and sunglasses and head for the river, where you can cast a lure and wait for a bass to strike. The architecturally designed homestead is perfect for large families or groups, with its wrap around veranda and spacious, travertine ensuites, adjoining every room. For biosecurity reasons, we ask that you leave your pets at home, but feel free to encounter the many cattle, horses, Pretty Faced Wallabies, occasional shy koalas and platypus that call this landscape their home. The Old Farmhouse is a century old Queenslander surrounded by working vineyards. It has been extensively restored and is carefully furnished with vintage and antique furniture. It has a large country kitchen ideal for those who love to cook. Beautiful lounge room and bedrooms make for a luxurious holiday. The house boasts wide wrap around verandas, 2 fireplaces and a fire pit in the large yard. It is located 10 minutes south of Stanthorpe and central to all the attractions on the Granite Belt.

Our Stanthorpe House is our home away from home. We specifically chose this house for the abundance of space, so that when we escape the city life we do feel free! There is plenty of room to relax. It’s your choice on what you choose to do. We are a short walk to town, Red Bridge and Quart Pot Creek. Visit the giant thermometer [yes that is a thermometer!]. We will send you some information on our favourite places to visit. Note that we do offer discounts on bookings of 2 nights or more.

Warranfels Homestead is far enough out of Tenterfield to be peaceful and quiet, but is a convenient 10 minute drive away, with amazing views of the surrounding countryside. The house was built in 1910 and has been lovingly restored to it’s former glory. It is a grand house with country charm and plenty of room for the whole family. It is situated on 10 acres in the centre of an operating farm. There is 1km of dirt road after you turn off the main road. A 4wd is recommended in wet weather.
