James was a great host - welcomed us to the property and we had a great chat. Told about the wonderful animals that came to greet us. We were then left to relax and enjoy ourselves. The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed for our short stay. Highly recommended.

The accommodation is quite unusual. It’s in a big community hall from the early 20th century. It has been converted in a clever way to accommodation, with a lot of space between bed and kitchen, and a separate bathroom and sitting room overlooking a beautiful garden. I’d suggest adding some large rugs to dampen the acoustics, and provide a larger TV with better sound, as the echo meant we couldn’t understand dialogue. A great effort!

Scott's place was just gorgeous! So beautifully appointed, with absolutely everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable stay, plus many extra little luxuries. Great location, looking over the town but also with beautiful rural outlook. Scott and Jodie were very responsive and accommodating to all our queries and requests. Highly recommended!

Welcoming. Luxurious. Pristine. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish we had been able to spend more time here. With no effort required and after a big day of driving, it was heaven to relax into this space which was comfortable, in pristine condition and secluded. It was evident that so much thought and beautiful design elements had gone into the space. Thank you Craig for such a wonderful stay.

There aren’t enough words to describe the tranquility of Phil & Nics Bungalow. It’s modern and well appointed, felt like a home away from home the minute we arrived. Phil & Nic were an absolute pleasure to deal with. The location is peaceful but mere minutes drive to town/Woolies etc. We highly recommend you stay here if in the area, you won’t want to leave. Thanks for hosting us :)

We had the best time at Andrea’s property! It was exactly what I was looking for… a beautiful house with great amenity but situated on a larger property that provided some space and privacy. Andrea and her husband were fantastic hosts and I could recommend them or the property more highly.

My stay here was perfect. Exactly what I needed. Beautiful surroundings and views, quiet countryside. Also a great time of year with the canola in bloom. I had everything I needed. My host Chris, was lovely. Meet him on arrival, he walked me through the place. Showing me where things were. A great host. Will look forward to my next stay here.

The house was spotlessly clean and well appointed. Like stepping into a vogue living issue. I can see a lot of attention to detail has gone into the selection of furniture and decor. The rooms are large and spacious. Beds were very comfy. The house has a light and airy feel. The surprises were the games room, big lounge, large bathroom, and washer/dryer. All in a few minutes walk to the main street, the club, the supermarket, or pool. Off street parking made it easy for my elderly mum to step out of the car and into the house (1 step). This will be our regular booking for any future stays in Coolamon. Most importantly, kudos to the cleaner and gardener!!!

Our stay was filled with warmth, spaciousness and incredible hospitality. We felt comfortable before we arrived as Jenny messaged to ask if she could make up a bed for our 3yr old. It was a delight to wake up looking out to trees and a rich soundscape of animals and bird life. There was plenty of privacy, and also opportunity to connect (at our interest) with Jenny’s family and their amazing lifestyle on the property, growing gourmet mushrooms and micro-greens. We’d absolutely love to return on our travels between Sydney and Melbourne again.

Amber's place was a lovely country gem on their Olive farm. Her communication was prompt and additional instructions were clear, which was helpful as it would be difficult to find her place without them. Amber greeted us warmly and we were treated to the bottle-feeding of 3 orphaned lambs on our arrival with our lucky timing. Their horse was delightfully friendly, so make sure you have carrots on hand for him. Luckily we did! Amber's place is pet-friendly, which was why we chose it, and it was a stop over point on our way to the Barossa. We were travelling with 2 dogs. 1 Kelpie & 1 Border Collie x. Our 2 got on really well with their Kelpie which was lovely. Highly recommended this place if you're after simple and warm country hospitality. The cabin is lovely and homely with some nice touches like muesli, milk and fresh fruit provided and dog treats which we appreciated! Amber and Rene were lovely people and I would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arose.
