Amy had milk for me in the fridge when i arrived and cereals, which was a lovely touch. The place is quaint, had everything i needed, and Amy had great local info at hand, which was appreciated. Was perfect for a gateway and was exactly what i needed.

one of my all time favourite holiday stays in the north island, loved sharing it with friends this time. Simple in the best possible old school kiwi bach sense, but with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Wonderfully remote to get away from it all, beautiful scenery and fantastic outdoor space to relax in any weather.

We loved the vibe of this place, soulful and colourful. It was perfect for our family gathering with adult children and partners. We absolutely loved the music installation and music choice. And fresh eggs for breakfast. We would love to come again.

We had a great stay here. The house was beautifully built with extra special touches - like the underfloor heating. The house was presented beautifully, and had everything we required. We appreciated the extra lengths Olivia went to, to accomodate our dog as well. Check in and out was super easy. I would definitely look at staying here again and recommend this place to anyone looking to travel to Palmerston North 😊

My motorcycle got cancelled on me so Plan B came into effect. This property is exactly what I needed after I rode my motorcycle to Palmerston North. Great Host, lovely garden with your own reading/coffee nook. The room had everything you needed with a lovely selection of tea/coffee beverages, snacks that I truly appreciated after my ride. I felt at home and I was completely relaxed feet up and enjoyed the company of the dogs and chooks. Thanks team I would definitely rebook.

Of all the accommodation we stayed in during our recent 2 week trip to NZ, tgis was our favourite. Brenda was extremely helpful. The location is peaceful with a great little country pub a fewmin walk away. The cottage was well equipped (even an air fryer and toasted sandwich maker, breakfast cereals and little snanaks). Would absolutely recomend.

Clean, quiet & comfortable. A very relaxing stay away with the added bonus of being dog friendly (and the best dog park by far just around the corner!!)

One of best places I have stayed, didn't even feel like you were in palmy, everything in the place was well thought out and just all round perfect. Will definitely be staying here again. I can't recommend this place enough.

An absolute gem! Dwayne's home is beautiful, the views are amazing and it's incredibly private and quiet. The house is well maintained and has everything you need, we were there for 2 weeks and it was great! Dwayne was quick to respond to messages in the lead up to our booking, answered all our questions, and even met us at the house to give us a guided tour and detailed handover to ensure we were all set. He also checked in during our stay to make sure everything was going well. The house is spacious and would be great for large groups, beds are comfortable, bathrooms are modern and clean (and theres lots of them!) Honestly couldn't have asked for a better property or host!

We stayed here with 12 friends for my husband’s 30th, and it was absolutely perfect. He loves native bush and birds, so this place was a dream. The house feels like a fairytale—spacious, warm, and beautifully designed. The kitchen is well-equipped and flows easily to the patio, where we barbecued and dined outdoors. There’s a handy kitchen window for passing food outside, and both indoor and outdoor tables made it easy to adapt to the weather. The property sits on 7 acres of native bush with walking tracks, birds like piwakawakas following us, and a magical glow worm walk at night. There's an outdoor fire area with couches, ambient lighting, and a speaker system that connects throughout the house and outside. It’s perfect for reconnecting with friends and nature. We left feeling relaxed, happy, and so grateful. Huge thanks to the hosts for the clear communication and thoughtful touches. If you're thinking of booking—do it. You won’t regret it.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this amazing little cabin setup. Lovely to be out of the way in the farmland, yet close enough to the city for any needs. Vanessa made it very easy to know where to go. The spa is of course an added bonus, set at the perfect temperature to enjoy star gazing the entire evening!
