Hilda's place has an arena for a bathroom yet spotlessly clean. The room is quite spacious, clean, and quiet. Further, the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro makes the place magical. I highly recommend it.

Amazing place! If you're looking for a calm stay away from the most touristic areas this is it. Lovely decorated and close to a perfectly empty beach. We really loved it, hope to be back soon. Can totally recommend this place especially for families.

Wonderful place, with an important mission. The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. The location is great , just a bit outside of town in a nice quiet area. Sitting on the beautiful terrace underneath the palm trees was so relaxing. Highly recommended . We will come back for sure next time !

We loved staying here! The accommodations are comfortable, peaceful and great for the price! The food is delicious and you’ll be stuffed full the entire time! I’ve been traveling and living around Tanzania for almost 8 years. I can say this is some of the best home cooked food I’ve ever had! If you are needing to stay near the airport, this is the best option!

Very friendly people. The hostel looked well taken care of and clean. Of course, it remains a little basic with a dirde shower and simple breakfast, but that was also exactly what I expected. Most important was that it was just a very nice place

Staying at Abdulla's guesthouse was a wonderful period. He is very nice and a great host! After I showed him the activities I wanted to complete he helped organized and communicated with relevant agents to ensure a great experience. The breakfast was lovely and the staff was lovely. The location was perfect for my needs, I highly recommend his hotel to future guests!

During our visit to Tanzania, we traveled the entire length of Zanzibar; spent weeks on the shores of Dar Es Salam (haven of peace) exploring it''s offerings. But then we came to Mama Simba and Upendo's place. This was our haven of peace. Upendo coordinated just the right activities for both our fifty something year old selves and our family in their early to mid twenties. This was more than a place to stay. They helped to shape an experience. We explored caves and learned local history. We trekked down into a valley to stand beneath the largest waterfall in the region. We picked, shelled, roasted and grinded our own coffee right from a farm. And of course there was "Kili". Each morning we would be greeted with the same warm smiles and a different delicious breakfast. When we scheduled to dine-in they prepared wonderful meals. We were also directed to some great local spots for both casual and fine dining. Inside the villa, the garden was peaceful and beautiful. The weather and the layout combined to have us relaxing outside in the common spaces each evening rather than just rushing into our separate rooms. Family members shared how they were able to read, relax, write, meditate and receive inspiration. The showers were hot. The staff was friendly and helpful. What a great escape. What beautiful people. The stay was beautiful! I thank Nadia for her kindness. I arrived on my birthday and the room was decorated accordingly for my birthday it was beautiful 😍 you can ask her anything she will be there to help you! The room is very clean the staff is kind 😍they are all lovely! The beach is a 2 min walk with super good restaurant . They are all adorable and attentive! The area is idyllic , the accommodation is in the middle of the local dwellings, you will be able to sympathize and communicate with the local inhabitants! I recommend 1000% and will return!! 😍

We had a very great stay with Angie and her husband. The place offers a free space to be for yourself. In the open restaurant area we were able to quickly connect with other guests, which was really fun. It is a quiet area where you can relax a bit. There is no hot water but you don't need it either. The wifi connection is generally not very reliable in Zanzibar. We had a great time and can recommend the place.

We had a great time at Furaha Lodge. The team is very nice and helpful, the food really delicious and we will remember the great evenings around the campfire with the drums for a long time to come. Thank you very much!

Sophie's place was great. It was peaceful and quiet, yet very convenient to the busy town of Moshi. She and her family were wonderful, we felt right at home. The meals were very good. I would definitely stay there again.

Osward's family was so kind and welcoming! The home is in a village that is about 20 minutes from town, but very worth the trek out from Arusha. Osward's sisters showed me around the village, and there's a gorgeous river running through the area. Would highly recommend for a more intimate experience.

Beautiful stay at Lalacabana, room was gorgeous and clean, beach was a 2 minute walk away with wonderful restaurants, and the amenities were everything you need and more (lovely pool and even lovelier restaurant for great prices). Thank you Lalacabana!

Beautiful beach bungalows. Great atmosphere, great breakfast, great location, so great that we extended our stay by 2 nights. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and assisted us in hiring a moped to explore the island. Vanessa is a great host, very easy and flexible. Would recommend and definitely come back.

This place truly sparkles on every level. Beautiful energy run by beautiful people. it was a 10/10 service Sara and Saidi gave us from the day we arrived to the day we departed. From recommending beaches, helping us to book trips, arranging trustworthy airport pick ups & tuk tuks( Daniel's Friendly ride was the best), even last minute or late at night, Daniel picked us up! 💫 Breakfast was fresh & lush, the room was clean, the laundry service was affordable & quick. The kitchen was made available if we wished to cook. Sara brilliant, a true vibrant warrior, she assisted us with finding affordable clothing, tailors for clothes making & was more than happy to take us shopping in Stone Town for a spice & fabric extravaganza! Saidi was a calming force, always willing to help with transport & bike hire. There was the occasional power cut, across the island, but Sara had lights on hand. the beach is close, ATM available near by at Plaza. Pure Magic!!!

Quiet compound located just off a main road. Close enough drive to city center and beach areas. The rooms were perfectly cleaned and check in was easy. Very secure and the guard was kind enough to wash our car very thoroughly. Garden is spacious, good for kids to play and burn off some energy. Breakfast was tasty. Would stay again if in Tanga.

We had a good stay, apart from the mix up of the first four days, where we did not get the room we booked. Everything else is great, food drinks & service, would recommend everyone to stay there

Samson is a great guy. Super helpful and friendly. Very kind. He also has lot of suggestions to do in moshi and also all over tanzania 🇹🇿 I would totally recommend He came to pick us up when we reached moshi. Breakfast was perfect. Beautiful and very clean rooms. The hosts were very responsive and welcoming. No complaints about the place. Unfortunately there was some issues with the electricity supply across the area which means we had no electricity in the room and the water pump needs electricity. Perhaps something they can look into either by getting a generator or ensuring water supply is a bit more reliable. Issues I’m sure they are working on. Well worth the money and I recommend staying with them.
