Awesome property and very nice host. Kudos to Anibal and Amélia for being super responsive and helpful. Very few issues with the house which were promptly resolved. A parking space would have helped improve the experience but not a blocker. Pity we couldnt enjoy the pool and the patio much due to the weather. Overall definitely recommend this place!

Casa do Postigo exceeds all expectations, especially in person. Well-equipped, well-decorated and cozy. We were just sorry we only booked one night.

We had a lovely stay at Joaquim’s place. It is a large studio space (possibly a former dance studio?), with a well equipped kitchen. We loved the swimming pool and it was so welcome in the heat. Joaquim was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay and also provided good information on Moura. The supermarkets are conveniently close at hand, and everything in the town is walking distance. We tried a couple of restaurants - Vermulhudo and André’s - both really good with a lively atmosphere. We climbed to the top of the tower at the castle, had a boat trip at the Alqueva dam, visited the oil press museum and generally enjoyed Moura which is very pretty. Thank you for having us, we would love to come back.

It was like a retreat! It was just what we needed: rest, calm, privacy. We were able to catch up on our tanning and reading. Having breakfast outdoors is such a simple thing, but in the rush of life it is not so easy and at Ana's house it was mandatory! We loved all the sunsets we watched and hope to return. Marvão is undoubtedly wonderful. We recommend Paulo Gouveia's studio where we bought a beautiful painting where cork is the main character. It will have a special place in our living room where we will remember this vacation filled with peace and harmony. We wish Ana and her space the greatest success and thank her for all the tips and the tasty bottle of wine she left us!

Great accommodation in a quiet and pleasant area. The house is very welcoming, carefully decorated and equipped with everything it takes for a comfortable stay. On arrival the house was quite clean and organized. The terrace is perfect for relaxing, soaking up the sun and refreshing in the tank. Repeating, surely!

Very nice house with lots of things to do. Great to spend some days with friends. Although a bit isolated, which is good, stays close enough to a large city for anything you need.

Our stay at this property was excellent. The house is extremely spacious, with 5 bedrooms, a very well-decorated rustic living room (all well thought out and with very good taste) and 3 very clean and functional bathrooms. Both the beds and the bed linens and towels were comfortable and of high quality. Very well-equipped kitchen, with several utensils, which made preparing meals very easy. The dining area on the porch, overlooking the typical Alentejo landscape, created a great atmosphere for our group lunches. The rooms of the house are equipped with air-conditioning (essential for the hottest days). In short, the house offers everything you need for a relaxing and pleasant stay. I highly recommend this property.

I had a lovely stay at Alberto's house. From the beginning, Alberto and his wife were incredibly kind and attentive, always available to help and ensure everything went smoothly. Their warm hospitality made me feel very welcome. The house is comfortable and well-suited for a family of four, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights was the beautiful view of the surrounding nature and the peaceful, quiet atmosphere—perfect for resting and disconnecting. The location, in the countryside near Marvão, Castelo de Vide, and other Alto Alentejo highlights, is ideal for those looking to explore the region’s charm and natural beauty. It’s a great base for day trips, though it’s important to note that the house can only be reached by car. Overall, this is a cozy and well-located home in a tranquil area with thoughtful and welcoming hosts. I would gladly return and highly recommend it to others.

Well, of our whole of Portugal AirBnB’s this was certainly one of the most charming and authentic. If it’s available just book it you will love it.! We were surrounded by welcoming locals, the house had well-maintained traditional furniture and wonderful art all over the walls of the UNESCO world heritage town that’s surrounded us. The view on the terrace was so fabulous. We had sunset snacks and drinks up there every night, charming! The kitchen was well equipped with all the little extras like good olive oil and some Handy cooking pantry items. There’s a great little shop around the corner that got everything - Cheese cured meats wine, beer and water and supermarket items - all that very affordable prices.

I recommend it. Attentive and pleasant host. The house is equipped with everything you'll need. Two separate bedrooms and two very clean bathrooms. The location is perfect, close to the archaeological site and the party area.

Everything went very well, the directions to get there and park made the arrival much easier. The apartment is very comfortable and has a unique decor. José Ildefonso was very friendly and told us exactly what we asked him, his recommendation to go eat was a success.

We were delighted with our stay. The apartment is beautiful, tastefully decorated and cared for down to the last detail. It also includes breakfast, which was a very convenient and welcome extra. Rebeca, the host, was helpful at all times, making sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely repeat if we come back in the area. It was one of the best apartments we've been to. I recommend it 100%!!!

We love everything. Maria Francisca and her husband are extremely polite, helpful, friendly and always available. Their place is exactly like in the pictures. A not so modern house, but with all the comforts and comfort. The air-conditioning is also excellent. I highly recommend and as soon as possible, we will be back.

Definitely a great fit for quiet days and away from the hustle and bustle. The home was very well equipped and taken care of. We really want to come back in the summer!

Spent three weeks in this charming house. Absolutely unique place. Situated in a hidden valley with beautiful surroundings. Lovely walks directly from the house, nothing other than natural sounds make relaxing in the garden a real pleasure and the lack of light pollution makes for stunning star gazing. Daniel is an excellent host for whom nothing is too much trouble. We loved staying here and would recommend it unreservedly.
