A truly unique house. Peter is very welcoming and knows a lot about the place and all the creatures you share the forest with.

We stayed there for four nights as a family and enjoyed the time very much, the house is unique. In walking distance to the nearest bars, restaurants and the beach but still in nature and private. From the house we saw sloths, various monkeys, agutis, tucans, iguanas, colored frogs and more! If you're looking for an exceptional place to stay, this is the place to be!

Undoubtedly the Tree House was a magical place, the rain, the jungle and the animals were unpleasant. Good location for those who like to walk and be in contact with nature, Valerie and her partner were always very attentive to everything and always delivering a smile or a recommendation to make. Breakfast was very rich and very forceful 100% recommended. We would definitely host here again and obviously recommend it without thinking about it !

A very pleasant night spent in this house in the tree. The accommodation is very clean and has all the necessary equipment. We were lulled by the sound of waves and animals. The accommodation is very well located, 2 minutes walk from the beach. Restaurants and convenience stores are close by. We can only recommend this place to you.

this place is so beautiful. the location, the quiet street, far enough from town to feel secluded, even though there are neighbors. the beach is beaitoful and quiet as well. we would love to stay here again and we'll be recommending it to friends. David was a pleasure to talk to and was available and quick to respond whenever needed. we only ever rent open air homes so we are used to what comes with it -occasional bugs, occasional issues with water or internet. it's the price you pay for wanting to stay in such a location and to be so close to nature. from the house we saw agoutis, green macaws, toucans, monkies, and a variety of other tropical birds. we enjoyed boogie boarding in the ocean, playing in the waves, walking the beach, sitting and listening to the birds, playing games on the giant table, and seeing the area. we always felt safe and again, David was only minutes away and quick to respond.

Staying at this treehouse was a dream! The view of the ocean was absolutely breathtaking—waking up to the sound of the waves and sipping coffee with that view was unforgettable. The space was clean, cozy, and felt like a true escape into nature. Alejo made excellent local recommendations that really helped us make the most of our trip. Highly recommend this stay for anyone looking to unwind, reconnect with nature, and experience something truly special. We’d love to come back!

Staying at this incredible treehouse in Cahuita was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beautifully handcrafted wood that made up every inch of the structure – a true testament to the host’s building skills and artistry. The personal touches throughout, and the host’s friendliness and responsiveness, truly made it feel like a home away from home. But the real showstopper was the open shower and bathtub. Imagine soaking in a warm bath, completely immersed in the sights and sounds of the rainforest, with howler monkeys serenading you and vibrant toucans flitting through the canopy. If you're looking for a unique and deeply immersive rainforest getaway, this treehouse is a must-book! AWD/4x4 rental car is a must for navigating the steep and windy road. Expect it to get humid/hot and use fans to cool off. Bugs at night are expected as it is the rainforest; turning on the outside lights only (to attract them away) helped

We arrived at the place of pure chance, but there was no clarity where the stay was from. Overall beautiful experience. Thank you.

this jungle cottage was definitely the real deal. a great place if you want to experience staying in the jungle. we woke up to a troop of howler monkeys in the trees directly above our apartment. there are alot of bugs around, so keeping the doors closed is a must. the apartment itself is well built and sealed, and the suspended bed was a unique and comfortable experience. the property staff were very friendly and the pool was extremely refreshing after a day at the beach.

We had a blast at Ricky & Lori’s! Ricky was a friendly host! Perfect location in Puerto Viejo, close to all the beaches and restaurants, but tucked away enough to feel like you are in the jungle. Thank you Ricky and Lori!

The treehouse is an awesome stay! Sitting out on the deck was amazing. It’s definitely a cozy little place, with very nice touches, making it a special place. People do walk and bike the road but I’d recommend a vehicle to get there. We had an atv and it was a lot of fun!

Marlene was a great host and a wonderful communicator. She lives full-time on the property and is always close by if you need her for anything. The experience was a true eco stay tucked in the jungle and away from the busy streets of the town. Worth a stay if you're looking to truly immerse yourself in nature

What an absolutely beautiful place to stay! This house is tucked in the jungle with loads of wildlife all around. There are other houses on the property, but they have preserved the gardens and jungle in such a fabulous way that you can’t even see any of the other houses. Felt super private. The plunge pool was absolutely delightful after we returned to the house. There are so many things close by, we especially love La Leyenda pizza restaurant. Which is just a short ride down the street in Playa Chiquita. Tine got back to me very quickly after each text I sent her. We will definitely stay here again!

Really great location if you’re looking for a jungle stay and only a 20 min drive to the beach’s and restaurants. Lots to do in the area. Really lovely place to stay just be prepared the jungle can get loud however it can be oddly peaceful The treehouse is as lovely and we had no issues with anything highlight was definitely the balcony in the morning.
