Cozy tidy house in a nice location, perfect for our group's weekend stay. The host responded to messages very quickly, and we thought the price/quality ratio was excellent.

Our stay at Emmy's cottage was perfect. A wonderful place in a truly beautiful part of the world. The cottage had everything that you would want of a Finnish mökki holiday, and was the perfect base to explore Savonlinna and the whole Saimaa region. It made for a memorable experience. Very clean and comfortable apartment, excellent sauna. The fenced-in backyard was great for our two dogs who enjoyed lying on the deck. Great location with lakefront right next door. I definitely recommend if there's a visit to Mäntyharju or nearby.

A perfect small mökki for a summer getaway! With a private access to the lake with sand, great sauna, barbecue spot and a beautiful forest with loads of blueberries and wind strawberries around. It's maybe better for someone with a car, because the closest grocery store is 6km away, and to get drinking water you have to boat 2 km, which was not a problem for us, but the boat and bikes at the property were not in the best state, but still usable. The house has everything you need, but is very small -- I feel like even though there are technically 3 sleeping places, 3 adults will use up all the oxygen at night ) but for 2 adults or 2+1 kid it's perfect. We felt very rested afterwards! There's also a very nice hiking trail nearby.

Lovely fall breaks outdoors. Lovely peaceful place and next to the roaring touch increased the nature person's experience even more assured by 💎 Lassi's friendly touch and we'll definitely go again!

We felt comfortable right from the beginning. The house is very well maintained and clean. The location and amenities of the house are perfect. It had everything you need and you have many possibilities (peace, nature, boat, dock, saunas, barbecue hut,...). Anu was very kind and generous.

If you're looking for some privacy and space here is a great choice for that. The vibe of a traditional cottage and everything worked just fine. The cabin and facilities are larger than what the photos suggest. We will definitely come back to this home.

Beautiful quiet retreat on a lush island. Everything you need to relax and enjoy your time is provided. There was even a midsummer traditional treat waiting for us. Satu is kind and responsive. She makes sure her guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay. Highly recommend.

The accommodation is cozy,very well equipped, tidy. Very perfect for us.

The house was exactly what we were looking for: a cabin in the middle of the woods, in full contact with nature, perfect for admiring the lake area. We were right on a lake practically everything to ourselves, we also took a nice ride on the lake with the rowboat (there was also the engine but we didn't use it) and the sauna all to ourselves! Awesome!!! In the evening, eating outdoors in silence was wonderful. When we returned to the house we turned on the fireplace, beautiful. The children especially appreciated the darts and the pier on the lake. The house had all the comforts, even if the bathroom was external and organic: a hole with a bucket underneath, where you had to throw fertilizer between times, but it was all reported and it was also fun! The only problem was the cleanliness, because the house was not very clean, but so in the middle of the woods we could safely bear: we cleaned a little and adapted. In general, I highly recommend it!!

Cute cottage in an ideal setting. I was afraid of the cold at the end of October but the electric heaters worked very well! Comfortable sofa bed, just the toilet outside at this time of year is not necessarily convenient, but the view of the lake clears everything else!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this cottage! It was clean, spacious, and perfect for large groups. The place felt brand new, and the view of the lake was simply breathtaking. The BBQ area was the best we’ve ever had at a cottage, and we loved having a pool table to enjoy. The host was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The lake itself was large and beautiful, and rowing there was an unforgettable experience. The hot tub and sauna were also fantastic additions. Highly recommend!

We spent a lovely cottage weekend enjoying the outdoors, swimming, and sauna. The stay was a short drive from services like a grocery store. There was a storm over the weekend and we were at the cottage for almost a day without electricity, but Markus handled it in the best way and without asking.

We had a holiday like in a fairy tale, with lots of snow, in a super cosy, clean and warm mökki, skiing over the frozen lake, and dipping into an ice hole after Heikkis legendary savu sauna. We also tried his delicious potato bread and spent altogether 14 sunny and peacefull days in Hugos huvila. At a certain moment I had a health issue and Heikki was kind and helpful, so it did not spoil the beauty of everything. We had a quiet and relaxing time at the house. Unfortunately, we had a bit of bad luck with our travel date, as it thawed heavily shortly before we arrived and then froze again. The result was a rather demanding journey over heavily icy forest roads. With four-wheel drive, no problem and on site you could do well with spikes. But you think twice about whether you have to go shopping by car or not. After it had snowed again, that was no longer an issue, mind you with four-wheel drive! The house is quietly located directly on the lake. If you are looking for a break from everyday life and relaxation, I can only recommend winter as a travel time. We used the cold days for the sauna and took a few trips to the beautiful frozen lake landscape. Sanna was always easily accessible and provided us with information about the location and everything around it 👍 In terms of amenities, we didn't miss anything and we could imagine coming back 👋👋👋

Nice experience! Messaging with the host went smoothly, and check-in was successful so I got one-to-one guidance on the stay. The place is wonderfully peaceful and the opposite village sauna can be heard. The canoes were a lovely addition, but I didn't have time to use them. There's no convenience store and no services, so bring your own snacks. Otherwise, a great place to stay!

Mikko & Pekka's cottage is an extremely peaceful and comfortable place to stay. The view of the river & surrounding forest offer a heavenly living environment while being close to all amenities. We loved the sauna and veranda. I hope we get the chance to come back in winter!

Perfectly cozy accommodation by the lake with beautiful scenery. The cabin is beautifully designed with quality furnishings, comfy rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a sauna featuring large panoramic windows overlooking the lake. The environment is exceptionally calm and quiet with no neighbors. Johan gave us the exact directions through the forest to the cabin, the nearest supermarket, and even gave us some helpful tips regarding the sauna, which we used almost every day.

The apartment is very cozy and well-equipped. The nature around is beautiful, the area has great jogging terrain and great beaches. For those seeking peace and relaxation, the place is very suitable. Heidi responded very quickly to our messages and was always friendly. Thank you for a wonderful vacation experience!

The cottage is in a very part of the Saimaa region and has it's own beach. Everything in cottage itself was as in description, clean and well-maintained. This is a perfect place if you enjoy biking on gravel/asphalt or kayaking - or to enjoy the almost complete absence of any civilisation noise (no cars, planes, motor boats, people etc). Kaisa was very friendly and responded to all of our questions. We enjoyed our stay a lot!
