Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Sumatra

highly recommend for those who comes from city and would like to feel staying in Kampung house (like me & do not have any families staying in kampung). Still maintaining the heritage of the original house yet modernised toilets for current context (I think city ppl will always hv toilets concern when gng holidays) I felt so peaceful & wish I could stay longer. There's a small stream that is kids friendly depth, also there's pool for the kids to enjoy. My family loved this place too. sadly no durian yet when I came (June'25). the receptionist says best time to come in Jul/Aug. Falling in love with Perak & Will definitely return again hopefully & try other houses (Rumah Kuning or Kuda).

Such a lovely Airbnb! We really enjoyed staying here. The bed was super comfortable, and the location was amazing as we could walk anywhere we wanted. Demi and her family were fantastic and communicative hosts, as they made us feel really welcome and let us check in early, and also looked after our bags upon checkout too. We would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Georgetown!!

Host was nice and friendly. The instruction provided was clear and concise regarding the accommodation. Place is clean and setup in a nice layout. House is located in a peaceful neighbourhood and easy to find. 24 Hr convenience store is a short 5 minutes walk.

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was perfect for us, as we were looking for a place within walking distance to the beach that also had a swimming pool for the kids. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly throughout our stay. However, the common area can get quite hot during the morning and afternoon. It would be great if more fans were provided. For the the dining area, installing blinds to block out the direct sunlight would make the space more comfortable. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, which is very convenient. Right in front of the homestay, there’s a nasi lemak restaurant that opens at night.

Perfect place to spend a night in Bukit Lawang on a budget! Got everything we needed. The balcony overlooking the river is a great place to relax! Communication was easy and helpful!

Had a wonderful stay here - the building is modern with great amenities like an infinity pool, gym, and secure access. It's in a perfect location next to a mall and train station. The apartment was clean, comfy, and well-equipped with AC, washer/dryer, and smart TV. Rainee was a super friendly host and helpful with a great tour and local tips. Would definitely look to book here again if ever in Kuala Lumpur ☺️

We had a very pleasant stay at Farhi’s place. The house looks exactly like the photos, and everything matched the description provided. LRT Jelatek is just a 10-minute walk away, and the free car park was a great convenience. We stayed for 3 nights and truly felt at home. Highly recommended! And , there are a lot of information and reminders in the house too. We use those info provided in the house to get access to the places we want. Thanks Farhi! Will come back again!

This is a great place to stay in KL. The views are stunning. The unit itself is simple and sufficient. It is well connected to a mall which has everything. Indian restaurants are about 10 minutes away. Grab delivery works well. Host is very accomodative and helped us out with extended stay. Washer and Dryer inside the unit are a blessing when you are on a long tour. Don't think twice about booking this unit for your stay.

Our stay at Colony by Infinitum was absolutely amazing! Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. Zhanbota is a sweet and thoughtful host, and his daughter was incredibly responsive even in the middle of the night. We booked their airport pick-up and drop-off service, which was super convenient and stress-free. Also took their 1-day city tour and it was well organized and enjoyable. The apartment was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. The view from the swimming pool was simply breathtaking! We felt completely at home never like we were in a new place. Location was great, close to key attractions. The warmth and hospitality shown by the hosts made this stay unforgettable. If we ever visit Malaysia again, we’ll definitely stay here again no second thoughts. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur!

We liaise with Tony who was a great guy - friendly and hospitable to say the least. He went out of his way to fetch us when our Grab dropped us at the wrong location. Gary explained everything and was kind and patient. The location is just a stone’s throw away from TRX hence everything we need is within reach. Apartment was amazing. The highlight of our stay was the view at night. If we have to find a thing or two that needs improvement - it would be that the pillows need to have better head support and that the washer needs to come with simple instructions. Other than that, everything was top-notched. Two huge TVs made us not want to leave the place. The place is beautifully done up. The owner definitely has good taste. Will definitely return in future. Great place between KILA and KLCC — particularly for longer stays. Quiet neighborhood.

Among all the vacations, this is the most satisfying trip thus far. The cleanliness is superb, comparable to high-end hotels, or even better than some. This is my first encounter with Nest Home, and I am delighted to share that this will not be the last trip, but rather the first of many to come. Had a wonderful time at sonia's place. Everything was extremely good about this listing as the place is clean and spacious with a wonderful bathub and had clear instruction from her from the get go as her response was quite fast. Definetely will repeat if we ever come by again.

Spacious unit with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which was a great bonus. Loved the view of the KL Tower right from the window — made the stay feel extra special. Would definitely recommend!

Pear’s place is a must stay in KL, close access to public transit and the heart of the city and easy access to all surrounding neighborhoods. On top of that she’s extremely communicative to makes sure your stay is not only comfortable but everything you want it to be

This place was truly an oasis in KL. Everything about this place was well thought out and functional. The air management with the two air conditioners and overhead ceiling fans was excellent.
