Vacation rentals in Strathroy

We have just returned from a 1 night stay. We had a great time. It was such a peaceful place. Beds were comfy, snacks were great. Loved the pool, so nice and warm. Ray was great to communicate with. Totally loved the Alpacas, they were so sweet. Would stay here again when in the area, without hesitation.

We absolutely loved our stay here! It was so restful and the setting was beautiful. Everything was thought of, clean, simple instructions. We hope to be back someday!

This was our second time staying. Again, perfect for what we needed - a good homebase to visit local family and have a few over to entertain. Easy check-in. Comfortable space (and comfortable bed!). Great view of the river from the balcony deck - sitting outside with a cup of tea in the morning. Loved using the firepit this time too - especially lovely in the crisp autumn evening. The hosts are very welcoming and attentive. We will stay again!

What a lovely fall getaway! Everything in the place was cosy and well organized, and we especially loved the hot tub and the ability to walk to the Main Street so easily. Highly recommend for a peaceful, relaxing retreat!

Only complaint is that we wished we could stay longer! Truly cannot get over how beautiful Millie’s Place was. From the fantastic views to the charming little home, our stay was perfect. The first day there I had a horrible head cold, but even being stuck in bed I could still enjoy all Millie’s had to offer. With the windows open I could hear the waves from the lake and my husband enjoyed reading his book and water coloring from the cozy porch! Even at night the stars were amazing. Something we don’t get to see living in the city. We kept our pups leashed after one decided to sneak off and take a swim in the lake but he had the time of his life. The town is just minutes away with plenty of dog friendly restaurants and trails. We enjoyed the brewery and especially Lexington Coffee Co. Cannot wait to book our next stay! Thank you Doreen!!

We had a family reunion at my Aunt’s house in Komoka and needed a place locally to stay for the weekend. Calista’s townhouse was perfect and clean. She went over and above to provide toiletries, coffee and basic kitchen necessities. We will definitely be back the next time we have a family event!

What a gem of a place to stay! Stunning decor, beautiful private backyard with hot tub, sauna and cold plunge. The extra touches that the owners provided such as flavoured syrup at the coffee bar, a welcome basket of goodies and a spot on eclectic record collection made our stay exceptional. We will definitely rebook this location in the future.
