Polite and friendly host. The accommodation was well appointed and had a lot of charm. Ample space for our family and a beautiful location. Recommended.

My friends and I loved this cottage! Ellen’s detailed instructions made it easy to find, and we were greeted on arrival. The hosts were very friendly, and even let us say hello to their horses! The kitchen was well stocked, and the painting supplies were a fun activity. I would definitely recommend staying here :)

Cosy accomodation. More spacious than it seemed on the fotos. Owner ist very helpful and friendly. It was a pity that we could just stay for one night.

The cottage was lovely and in a secluded location surrounded by bird-song and trees, just a short drive from Egilsstadir. The deck outside is expansive and would be great in warmer weather; as it is, the hot tub was terrific after a day of exploring, and for viewing the northern lights! The bedrooms are European-tiny without a lot of room for "stuff", but with only two of us, we were able to spread out a bit and it all worked out just fine. We very enjoyed our stay in this lovely family getaway.

Great place. Very spacious and lovingly furnished and decorated. Don’t be scared by the gravel path leading to the property. Once you get there, you will be rewarded with very serene surroundings outside, and a beautiful house inside.

A great house in Hofn. We loved it and we were so comfortable that we would have liked to stay longer. It's not the typical AirBnB business-accommodation. It looks like the royal house where the owners live with all their comforts and belongings. You feel like you're at a friend's house who has lent you their home for a few days. Thank you for everything.
