We had an excellent stay at TURTLES. The apartment is absolutely beautiful, has a stunning view and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Thank you, Donna, for hosting my friends and I, and for being so responsive to any questions we had!

Great place to stay, and close to cafes, restaurants and the water. It’s the little things that make a stay and Warwick provided extra blankets, large bath towels, blanket on lounge etc. he also provided good recommendations on local places to eat and visit. Very good communication and check in on us until we had arrived safely. Would stay again!! Thanks!!!

Adrian’s place was so homely and comfortable. The beds were so soft and we didn’t want to leave that lounge! We had just the right amount of space for 4 adults and 2 kids. Adrian was very generous and thoughtful. Even leaving ice blocks in the freezer for the kids! The pool and games room was a hit with the kids. Great for the couple of rainy days we got during our stay. This was probably the most comfortable air b n b experience we’ve had. Everything ran smoothly thanks to a great host.

Our family of four (two adults and two kids) had a wonderful long weekend staying at this apartment. The location was perfect—an easy walk to great cafes, parks, activities, and a supermarket, which made everything so convenient. The apartment itself had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and it was refreshing to find high-quality cookware in the kitchen. The kids absolutely loved the bunkbeds, which added to the fun of the trip. Arrival instructions were clear and easy to follow, making the whole experience smooth from start to finish. We had a wonderful stay at Serenity on the Sand. The location is absolutely stunning, just steps away from a beautiful, quiet beach perfect for a peaceful weekend getaway. The home itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. It was the ideal spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy the natural beauty around us.

Natalie and Colin were excellent hosts. Their house is very comfortable; they are very welcoming; and they were helpful responding to our queries. The house is located a short and pleasant walk from a stunning beach. Highly recommended!

great stay everything exactly as described. it was very roomy! perfect for two families woth bedrooms and a bathroom each at opposite ends of the place.

We just finished a long weekend at Kim's place. It was wonderful. We really enjoyed being close to the beach, very close to shops, children's playgrounds, and a small paddling lagoon. Great place for families with children of all ages, my children are 13, 5 and 2, and we had a blast. We stayed with friends who had an almost 2 year old and it was fantastic. Plenty to do for the older ones and the younger ones. Thank you again.

This place was perfect for us. Dog friendly with a great backyard and close walk to the beach and cafe made it a really lovely and easy place to have a weekend away with our furbabies. The place was immaculate and had all the amenities we needed to have a really comfortable stay. No complaints at all. Jaymie was really responsive and gave us a late checkout which allowed us to enjoy that little bit longer in this beautiful patch of the world.

Richard was a fantastic host! The accommodation was comfortable, and in a great location. It is a very family-friendly place, with everything we needed to feel right at home. Communication was smooth and easy throughout our stay. I truly felt welcomed and would highly recommend this place to anyone, especially families, visiting the area. My partner and I, and our 3 kids (between 5 and 8) had a great time! The house has a hot-water outdoor shower to get properly clean after a day at the beach. You can watch the beautiful sunrise across the ocean from the large living room windows. The kitchen has PLENTY of cooking utensils and crockery. TV has all the apps. The ping pong table downstairs was also worth it. It's useful to know that three of the 4 bedrooms are downstairs, and one queen bedroom is upstairs where the rest of the action is. The front balcony is nice and spacious, and the deck out to the back is HUGE! The location is extremely quiet, you can hear the waves on the beach. It takes about 3-5 minutes walk to get to the beach, it's very, very close.

I had an incredible experience during my stay From the moment we arrived, I felt right at home. The check-in process was seamless, and Al was incredibly welcoming, providing detailed instructions and local recommendations that truly enhanced my visit. The space itself was immaculate and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I could possibly need. All beds was super comfortable, and I loved the little touches like fresh flowers and snacks that made my stay even more special. The location was ideal about a kilometre walk to a great cafe with know the best coffees I’ve had in a couple of hundred metres to the sea baths yet we was tucked away enough for a peaceful retreat. I particularly enjoyed everything was in there was a lot of space. You will get what I mean once you stay. Al was always quick to respond to any questions. I also thoroughly enjoyed the comments that were left in a book by other people that stayed previously.

This place was incredible! This holiday unit was beautiful, clean, ocean view, spacious and with all the amenities available including the pool and gym- I could not recommend this place enough. Lorraine was nice and really easy to communicate with, Thankyou for letting us stay at your place 😊

Perfect for a weekend or even long term getaway. Location was great, right in the heart of the city, 5-mins walk to a couple local pubs, cafes and convenience stores and 15-mins walk to beach and light rail interchange. Also noticed quite a few buses with different bus routes around the area as well. Check in was a breeze and not that I had any issues but Mel was quick to reply once I had advised check in and check out. The place itself was fantastic, ducted air con throughout, 2 very big comfy beds, large lounge area and huge dining area with a kitchen that had what you need to cook for a large group of people, if you wished. Having access to a washing machine and dryer is always a plus, esp. when there’s a 2nd toilet and the bathroom was clean as well. Would definitely look to stay there again if going back up to Newcastle.

10 stars! The longer you stay in Keran’s studio (and Newcastle) the longer you will want to stay. As frequent airbnb’ers we SO appreciate the considerate built-in storage spaces, HOOKS (!), all the kitchen supplies needed to cook meals, etc.! Keran spoiled us: cheeses, fruit, butter, gluten free crackers (she asked about dietary requirements!), OJ and more. Any anxiety about lack of outdoor space was quelled by a cute cozy basement style patio and the fact that Newcastle Beach and its shaded chill spaces is only a few minutes’ walk away. I have to mention the bathroom which had the most sophisticated lighting I have seen. Plus a great shower, just bring your shampoo. Public transport is nearby but we were happy to have a car to explore and traffic was a non-issue. Smaller car is best. Restaurants in walking distance as well as ocean pools (a must!). Best grocery stores by car. We met Keran who was great about checking in w/us and suggestions. She lives above in this historic complex.

We had a wonderful stay at Adam's place. Loved the large deck - great for kids and adults alike. Everything was as per the description and photos on the website. It is a lovely open plan space. Everything you might need is within walking distance supermarket, bakery, Cafe, Golf Club. Playgrounds and of course the beach and river. Hawks Nest is a beautiful place we will be back.

We loved our stay with our little family! Unreal of the kids with all the little touches! Couldn’t recommend enough !

We thoroughly loved our time at “The View”…and oh, what a view! Just spectacular from the front balcony. The property was spotlessly clean, and the King sized bed, super comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking equipment. The Sunbeam coffee maker was an added bonus. “ The View” is centrally located in Shoal Bay, right across from the jetty, and just a short drive (or walk, depending on your choice of bush walk), to a whole host of fabulous places to walk and explore. Do yourself a favour, and drive over to Sunset Beach at Soldiers Point on sunset. Breathtaking!!! Mark and Lea are generous hosts with outstanding communication. We’d love to come back again to further explore this region and to further enjoy Mark and Lea’s hospitality.

Absolutely incredible views! I’ve recommend this place to friends and family, very clean and can not fault it at all. Grant was a pleasure to deal with! definitely would book again 🙂
