Janette's cabin is located close to the lake. It was actually even nicer than in the photos. We were warmly welcomed by the host, who had fired up in the hot tub and prepared everything for a pleasant stay. We both bathed and used the sauna, and it was amazing to be able to swim in the fresh water in Lake Vänern in the beginning of October. Both children and adults had a great stay.

It's the second time I'm there, and I'm just as happy as the first time. Marlene goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and it is clear that she cares for her guests to be satisfied and feel welcome. It's incredible surroundings and everything is very nice and fresh. If you want to do things, there are the possibilities, and for those of us who wanted to rest, there were all opportunities to do just that. I would be glad to come again a third time.

Beautiful little cottage with a fantastic location right by the sea. Very friendly hosts. We really enjoyed our stay, as did our two kids aged four and eight. Super cozy cabin with views to the sea. It was just a short walk down to the water where the kids enjoyed fishing for crabs and we could enjoy the beautiful views. The cabin was well equipped and beautifully decorated. Would love to come back in the summer! Highly recommend this place.

The place is beautiful. The terrace with sea view and living room with sea view. The pool is very warm and the sauna great. The pool room is well heated and therefore wonderful to enjoy on cool, cloudy days. The house is super clean and very well appointed. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen offers everything you need for cooking. The water is only a few minutes' walk away. Wifi works super, kids enjoyed Netflix and large TV. We lived in the house for 7 and there was enough space. Eva always responded quickly to our questions and gave us many tips for exploring the area. She was a perfect host. Eva personally welcomed us in the house and all explained well, which we enjoyed very much. We highly recommend this beautiful house!

Beautiful house in a fantastic lakeside location. Very spacious and bright rooms with lots of nice details. We immediately felt at home. Very good amenities. In particular, the kitchen also contains everything you need for cooking. Claudia and Michael are great hosts who take care of the house very lovingly, were always easily accessible for questions and have many recommendations for excursions in the area. Very quiet and relaxed location surrounded by nature. Perfect for unplugging! But there are also houses and a small settlement nearby, so you never feel too lonely. Not to forget: Claudia's homemade jam and homemade bread were a dream! :-)

We had a great time at this wonderfully situated, idyllic location. Just relax. There is a small motorboat available to explore the surrounding area, if you want to be bit mor active. The sauna and Knut, who is a great and helpful host, made our trip perfect. We would love to come back.

This is the second time we stay at Anki’s cottage and we love it! It’s warm and comfortable, and so cute! The surrounding area is gorgeous with the lake and forests. It is quiet and peaceful. Anki and Johan are the best hosts, and we hope to be able to visit again.

We had a great time at Hélène's place. The accommodation is very clean, quiet, cozy and very well located 5 minutes walk from a small typical Swedish port. Hélène and are husband are adorable and available. We didn't lack anything. Everything was perfect!

We had a lovely stay here with our two dogs. The charming cottage has everything you may need, there is a beautiful lake nearby, and there are great marked hiking routes near the cottage. It is super quiet and you can watch stars at night (if there are no clouds :)). We will come back!

Fantastic house, great host. We felt very comfortable. Everyone can experience something on the farmyard. The cats have sweetened us every day, the day. The sauna and kayaks were just great. We will definitely return. Thank you Annika and Jonas for the great holiday.

Perfect little house. Very modern and stylish. Although it's a little smaller, everything you need is there. You don't miss anything. The house is so well furnished that every space is used sensibly. The house is extremely clean and maintained. The proximity to the family's house is not disturbing. You are very private. The area is wonderful. The forest and the adjacent lake belong to the family's property and invite you to explore. Niclas is a wonderful host. Very nice and warm. He gave us great tips and even provided us with delicious vegetables from his garden. He recommended us to drive along his forest road in the evening to possibly see moose. Less than 100m behind the house we had success. On his advice we made a trip to Smögen. That's not to be missed. We really enjoyed the three nights and are glad we discovered the place. We would come back any time.

A great house. We immediately felt at home when we arrived. The contact with Jana was completely straightforward at all times, super friendly, flexible (arrival and departure time) We got great tips for the area and things to do. Jana also inquired during our stay if everything was okay with the note that we can get in touch at any time. The sauna, the living area upstairs as well as the play cellar were an additional highlight for us and the children. The kitchen is very well equipped, we also found towels and beds made upon our arrival. Definitely recommended. Thank you very much for the nice time.

Heidi has created a jewel on her property. There is a small sauna house by the lake, with a jetty and lots of opportunities to enjoy nature in comfort. Breakfast is also served there in the morning. The outdoor kitchen is equipped with everything your heart desires. The two hosts have really thought of everything. We also felt incredibly at home in the glass house. All in all, it was a great experience to immerse ourselves in nature and still receive excellent service.

The house is easy to reach and is very quiet and secluded. You're very comfortable from the first minute. Ken and Emelie ask if everything is good and make you feel like they're always there for their guests. They respond very quickly and give tips for special actions. The house is special and has a fantastic view from the living room to the lake. The hot tub in the evening and even in bad weather is compensation for lame hiking feet. Just great. We didn't miss anything and we would love to vacation there again. For Ken and Emelie only the best and nice guests who appreciate this beautiful house.

Fantastic place and a beautiful house for a family gathering. Great beds, facilities and wonderful furnitures - the pictures are like the house. Only little minus is that the only bathroom is through a bedroom with 3 beds; so families need to be close when walking in for showers in the morning. We were 13 people and it was perfect for having dinners around the table, barbecuing and dining outside. We made some great day-trips to fjalbacke and Lysekil, all within one hour drive. Canoeing and finding chanterelles was easy within 1/2 hour drive (and some blueberries) We would for sure love to come back, the host are very friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome. We spent an amazing weekend at Edward’s beautiful house. The view was astonishing from the dining room window. It was so great to just experience the peace and quiet in the woods next to the house. The store was at the corner with everything you might need. Edward was an amazing host. Would definitely recommend!

A very nice newly constructed cottage/house with an amazing bonfire spot. Plenty of space and nice equipment. Close to a lake with the possibility to rent small boats at the local camping park and go fishing. Also a nice mini The hosts answered very quickly and we felt welcome.

We had an amazing stay at Carin and Gert's house! Communication before the stay worked flawlessly and there was no problem checking in earlier. We received a warm reception and the house was even better than in the pictures, bright, cozy and perfectly clean. Beautiful surroundings and we enjoyed swimming in the lake, mushroom picking in the forest and cozy up in front of the fireplace in the evening. Highly recommended! Extra thanks to Gert who brought our forgotten mobile when he was going into Gothenburg just a day later!

We stayed in Lillianne’s Hytte for 4 days on October. It’s an amazing place in the middle of the most beautiful Norwegian nature. There is a great view from the Hytte and nice spots to lean back and enjoy a quiet time - also with a bonfire. Thanks for having us.

What an amazing experience we had! A truly unique Airbnb that we cannot WAIT to return to. As described, but better! Although the 5G signal was strong, we had phones off most of the time, just enjoying the silence and peace away from civilisation for a few days. The lake was perfect for open water swimming, not too deep or cold, and the hot bath to finish was the icing on the cake. We absolutely loved every minute of being on the island, and wish we could have stayed longer. Christian and Anna were so helpful and accommodating, making our trip that much more easier and enjoyable.

We stayed at the house for a week. The surroundings and amenities are great. Very close to swimming opportunities. And by car, you can reach the other surrounding places in 10 minutes, which are also really beautiful. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. We felt very comfortable. The contact with Robert and Sarah was very easy and friendly. The two gave us great tips for activities. We will be happy to come back.
