Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

Idyllic Appenzell vacation home with garden

Our cottage is surrounded by nature, quiet and on the Alpstein hiking trail In the garden, there is a cozy sitting lounge, a large fireplace and the garden shower for cooling off. The magnificent views and the Alpine feeling can be particularly well enjoyed from the bench on the forecourt. Inside it is beautifully and cozily furnished, with a tiled stove and wood-burning stove, a cozy living room and a spacious dining table. Everything is fully furnished and ready for guests :)

The luxurious, 2-story penthouse on 130 m² scores with a unique and quiet location right on the lake. Inside, highlights such as a private sauna, hot tub and large terrace with mountain and lake views await you. There is a basement compartment for your sports equipment. The location is incredible. For example, you can walk to skiing, hiking, water sports, sunbathe on Lake Walen or cozily into the charming restaurant/bar by the lake. Everything is right at your doorstep.

Quietly located farm with mountain and lake views

Our paradise invites you to relax. The guest room and bathroom as well as the living room (where there is a small fridge, a Nespresso coffee maker and a kettle) are located in the attic with beautiful views of Lake Walen and the Churfirsten. OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES Our cat also lives in the attic, which shares the bathroom and the living room. It has a parking in front of the house and a seating area with a fireplace. Radiation-free natural oasis

The house is radiation-free, has no mobile network and no Wi-Fi. Internet is available via cable! An oasis of calm, simple, natural and homely. A 2-room apartment in an old farmhouse with wood heating, a small kitchen and a bathroom. There are also 2 rooms available in the attic floor, one with a wood-burning stove. The house is surrounded by a large garden with cozy places to relax and enjoy. An ideal starting point for hiking and biking.

Cozy studio on the first floor, in Appenzellerland

The cozily furnished studio (first floor) is located at 800 meters above sea level in a quiet residential area. From the sunny seating area you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Alpstein (Säntis). A grill bowl is available there. The bus or Appenzellerbahn train can be reached within a 10-minute walk. Within 10 km there are various leisure facilities (mini golf, swimming pools, hiking, skiing, biking).

Cozy studio for the perfect family vacation or for small groups with a thirst for adventure... Hiking in nature in any season and enjoying the wonderful views. Vacation cottage located on the sunny slope with beautiful views. On a cozy terrace you can enjoy the view of the Alpstein with our local mountain, the Säntis. There are many walking and hiking opportunities directly from the house. Please note: From the parking lot, it is about 100 m on foot up the hill to the beautifully located bungalow on the edge of the forest.

In 5 minutes on foot you can reach the Äugsten cable car, the Ennenda train station and in 15 minutes by car the Elm and Braunwald ski resorts. Likewise, the picturesque Lake Klöntal.
