Self contained wee cottage. Living room with feature stone wall, fully equipped kitchen and patio doors opening onto the garden. Best suited for a couple with 1 double bed in the ensuite bedroom. Chair-bed suitable for child or small adult for £20 extra. Well-behaved pets welcome but NOT to be left on their own, garden is enclosed but not secure. No weeing or soiling on the grass. Eastmost Cottage is in a wonderful position on the edge of the historic village of Falkland. It's a short walk from the fine Renaissance Falkland Palace, the heart of the medieval village with its independent shops, cafes restaurants and pub. There is great walking in the Lomond hills, accessible on foot. The wonderful Covenanter has fantastic food all day; the Hayloft and Pillars of Hercules are lovely cafes. Fine dining at the Boar's Head in nearby Auchtermuchty.

“Relax, explore, and unwind — all from Mar House.”

Settle into Mar House for a perfect get away, we are located around a 10-15 minute walk from St. Andrews town centre and a 2 minute walk to the East Sands beach which boasts the "Cheesy Toast shack" ( locally renowned, and perfect after a stroll along the beach). Of course for the golfing groups, this is perfectly situated for access to all local courses and a great space to unwind and catch up on each others score cards! Free parking in driveway for up to 3 cars.
