If you’re looking for a place that feels like home (but maybe even better), Serenade is it! The cottage is beautiful, peaceful, and cozy—but what truly made our stay special was Shahnawaz. His unmatched hospitality made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. He went out of his way to ensure my elderly parents were comfortable, which meant so much to us. He’s also great company—we loved our chats over tea, the barbecue he set up, and our morning walks! He even joined me for runs, showing me the most stunning spots, from the serene Jhelum River to breathtaking mountain views. Some days, I didn’t even feel like going out—just staying at Serenade was perfect. Oh, and if you’re up for a game of TT, just know that Shahnawaz is brilliant—and he knows it! Highly recommend for anyone looking for warmth, comfort, and an incredible host. Can’t wait to be back!

I stayed at this stunning studio for five days, and it was an absolute delight. The space was beautifully designed—cozy, warm, and inviting. The peaceful environment, combined with the breathtaking beauty of the garden and its surroundings, made for an unforgettable experience. Fozia was wonderful—warm, welcoming, and a pleasure to chat with. Fozia also offered a selection of paid organic goodies like jams, pickles, and chutneys made from their homegrown apples and ingredients. I truly loved every moment of my stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene and charming retreat!

Prithvi's place is centrally located in Srinagar, giving easy walking access to Jhelum Zero Point bridge. The home is beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathrooms are squeaky clean. Every morning we enjoyed the breathtaking views of the Zabarwan mountains from all the balconies! Prithvi is a super host who is very responsive. He attended to all our needs quickly. He even offered to arrange a pick up of our dinner the first day as we were reaching late and most of the shops were closed due to Eid. Which host does that. His mother Ritu ma'am, was welcoming and made hot kehwa for us. The day we were leaving she and Prithvi's father specially came to meet us for taking feedback. We experienced Kashmiri hospitality first hand all thanks to their warm and welcoming nature! We will surely vist them again. My advice to all my fellow air bnb members, pls book Prithvi's place without thinking twice when visiting Srinagar. It will make your stay memorable :)

We had a wonderful experience staying at Basharat’s place. The flat (2 BHK) was exactly as described—clean, cozy, equipped with everything. Rooms were stocked with heaters and bed were comfortable with electrical blankets. We didn't feel cold in room. Two bathrooms equipped with water heaters. Kitchen didn't had induction/gas stove, but we didn't needed. There was an electric kettle. Bablu (helper) was polite, always there to make snacks/tea anytime. We had breakfast only everyday which was good. Mr Basharat was an outstanding host. He was friendly, very helpful. He made sure that we had the best experience and memories in Kashmir, also ensured we feel like home there. He and his wife recommend kashmiri foods and shops which we tasted and enjoyed. Location was peaceful. 10 km from airport, 1 km to some restaurants and small shop and park nearby. I'd recommend staying at this place and would definitely return if I’m ever in the area. We stayed here for 3 Night on 1st to 4th Feb 25. Very well maintained property with Drawaing cum dining room, 2 1/2 bedrooms comfortable for 5 people with heater, electric mattress, 2 toilets with storage geyser, kitchen with gas stove, microwave, water filter, fridge all utensils, garden in front. All rooms have rechargable bulbs. Free WiFi available. Care taker Mr. Yasir is very helpful. I prefer to stay here again if I have to visit Shrinagar again.

We stayed at Aamir’s place in July 2024 when we visited Kashmir for the first time with our families. Aamir, Muneer and Aadil made the entire experience extremely comfortable. The very day we arrived, we were upgraded without asking for it as they saw that my mum in law can’t walk a lot so we were given the rooms close to the entrance. We arrived quite late (around 10pm) because of flight delays and had no idea where we will find food from at this hour but they made sure that we don’t sleep hungry. They prepared a full meal this late in the night and for all days that we stayed there, even if we needed something at 1am in the night, they were all happy to help. The place is beautiful and very nicely maintained. They have a beautiful garden just behind the rooms where we had breakfast and made some core memories. Aamir also recommended some places to visit and helped make transport arrangements. Thank you for the amazing hospitality. This was home away from home.

Great place to stay with family. Good peaceful location with all the amenities nearby. They have a caretaker who makes great food and the host is very responsive. We enjoyed our stay!
