Me and my friends visited Sri Lanka for the first time ever and we were so in luck to stay at Sunil’s beautiful villa and experience their warm hospitality. We not only thoroughly enjoyed our stay there but were in love with the villa, the surroundings, the peace it comes with, and the people who run it. Sunil, and co. thank you so much for letting us in, and take back with us a bag full of memories.

This is the 4th time we stayed at this property. As informed previously this is the best property we have stayed in Sri Lanka. Buddhika’s hospitality and kindness is second to none. When my wife and daughter were sick, Buddhika went out of his way in obtaining medicine for us. When we had to attend a function Buddhika organized everything we would need. Staying in his home, we felt we are with family. In terms of the experience, the house itself is fabulous with the beautiful pool and jacuzzi on the top floor being the main highlight. The location is fabulous with supermarkets, shops lovely eating places all within walking distance. The road is really safe and we could not imagine we were in a busy area of nugegoda, as it was so peaceful and quiet at all times. I highly recommend Buddhika’s property as alongwith a fabulous property to stay in, you will receive unmatched hospitality and kindness from Buddhika and his family

Terrene Villa was everything and more. Jalal responded quickly to any queries before arrival and during the booking process. We stayed for two weeks as a family of 4, plus daughter's boyfriend. The villa is stunning and just as described. Sri Lanka is the gift that keeps on giving and Terrene Villa is the perfect place to enjoy it all. Suda and Judi (apologies if I have spelt their names wrong) were a delight and looked after us very well. Their breakfasts were enjoyable and the fresh juices were delicious. The gardens were kept beautifully and what a joy to see monkeys in the trees and on the roof! Viraj sorted all our travel and day trips out and was always quick to reply and make suggestions. We were so sad to leave the villa, it really is an oasis of calm.

lovely place and fantastic hosts with friendly and accommodating housekeeper. walking distance from many dive centres. a quiet and spacious space, quite unlike any regular housing you would find. but the quiet may come with some downside as it is a little further distance from many amenities and restaurants within the area. a great spot for quiet reprieve nonetheless

Lovely stay. Location is outstanding, straight onto the beach. Sashi - the house keeper - is as kind as it gets and cooks amazing dishes. We celebrated our daughter's birthday and she came with a gift, not only for the birthday girl but also her sister... So kind.

This villa is beautifully simple, environmental and in a large peaceful garden with the occasional peacock / monkey / squirrel. Lahiru, the manager is the kindest man who went out of his way to make our stay a great experience. We were recommended a wonderful TukTuk driver who was so helpful and lovely with our children and drove very safely. Would highly recommend.

The villa is great .. Swimming pool is good .. The communication is easy and good .. Maybe the only one thing that if you are expecting a privacy in your staying i will tell you don't .. There is a nice guy his name Lalith he is a caretaker living next to the pool .. And offering us every help we need .. He is cooking good food .. Only that Colombo is about 25 to 30 minutes by car .

Rumaiz place is one of the best places that we lived in Kandy. It meets every living aspect that I could expect in western world. It has a nice views of the mountain and also it has two balconies. I highly recommend his place to anyone who wants to spend some time in Kandy city.

My partner and I stayed here for 2 weeks as we wanted a relaxing holiday to South Sri Lanka. We were very pleased with our stay. The apartment is in a fabulous location making it very easy to walk to breakfast/dinner and beach front bars in the evening. La belle on the doorstep of the place is great for sunset. Gianluca is a super friendly host, was very helpful, always responding quickly, he also arranged a bike for us for our stay which was very helpful. The apartment was cleaned regularly & we were provided with fresh shower & beach towels. Highly recommend staying here.

A place you never want to leave... In the middle of a forest, surrounded by a variety of animals, lies this little paradise. Beach, shops and restaurants are in walking distance and also really good. We were happy to eat local dishes in Cool Place and right next to it also discovered the bakery, who sells his bread from the bakery (absolute secret tip). Amila is always easily accessible and helps where he can. I was surfing with him and he organized for us a day trip to the rainforest, which he even accompanied us to. The driver was a piece of gold and stopped for us countless times so we could take photos. Amila has become a good friend and we miss him and the Banana Leaf House already.

nice enclosed private space, Thuruni was very clear and easy to communicate with. She also aided with anything extra you may need. the space has everything you need and can tell it's extremely well though through. there is a little bit of building work which they did point out but this is due to low season

A very spacious apartment in a quiet location close to the beach shops restaurants etc and a short Tuk Tuk ride to negombo centre with bus and train station to get around Sri Lanka Harsha, Saumya and family made me feel very welcome and treated me to a meal on my birthday (with cake 😁). Harsha picked me up from the airport and arranged to have me taken back and gave me advice on local restaurants and buses etc to get out and about. I had a brilliant 5 weeks in Sri Lanka and my stay here at Saumya Villa was just perfect 😁

Modern apartment with all the necessary amenities. Right in front of the beach and can wake up to the sounds of waves. Great for a workation :)

Bernard and his family are so welcoming, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. They welcomed us with tea and a great chat on the terrace, Bernard and his wife passed on great recommendations which made our trip so special. I highly recommend staying with Bernard and his family. You won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely loved our stay at Lara’s place, Lara and his family went above and beyond. It’s very peaceful and you really have everything you need in one place. The breakfast was exquisite and the hospitality was so appreciated. Do not hesitate to book this place if you want a quiet retreat with perfect sea views!

I stayed at Boho House for two nights, and my experience was nothing short of remarkable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth—a local greeting complete with garlands and a refreshing drink that instantly made us feel at home. The house was impeccably clean, and it was almost surreal how perfectly it matched the photos and description on the listing. Shashika, our host, was truly exceptional—thoughtful, attentive, and always ready to help. The rest of the staff were just as kind and friendly, adding to the sense of being in a home away from home. My only regret? That I didn’t stay longer! If you’re considering a stay in Bentota, Boho House is an absolute gem. Highly recommended!

We came in a group of 4 friends. Never seen such spacious villa. Comes with 3 bedrooms (two located on top and one at the ground floor). Spiral Staircase might be difficult for elderly. First thing that I must praise is the housekeeper, his name is Lakshan and he’s the most attentive boy ever. He’s always ready to assist. He helps to cook and reheat too. Theres ample of place for us to chill. From the living hall to the kitchen to the outdoor seats we basically fully utilized the space. The only downside is that it’s a little far from the Main Street coz the small lane seems quiet at night but it’s convenient to order food via apps so we never had to walk out. By the way; we arent pet lovers but the two doggies are sooooooooo well behaved.

Amazing place, most unique I’ve seen for true nature lovers

The place was absolutely gorgeous—truly nothing negative to say. It struck the perfect balance between luxury and the warmth of home. The host, Jen, was proactive and incredibly responsive from the start, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. The staff were exceptional, especially the villa manager, Ushan, who had an uncanny sense of when to be present and when to give us space. Even when not physically around, he ensured every request was met. The cook prepared amazing meals daily, and the entire property was spotless, with every amenity thoughtfully provided. We genuinely regretted only staying for four days—it simply wasn’t enough time in such a beautiful setting. We’re already planning to return. Bonus: it was unexpectedly fun spotting dragonflies around the property—just one of many charming touches.

Words cannot describe how beautiful Sidhu’s place is. He is a brilliant host who went above and beyond for us throughout our 5 day stay. He helped organise tuk tuk rides daily, provided excellent local recommendations for food, and was extremely responsive for anything we needed. His generosity is out of this world, and him and his wife cooked and brought us incredible Sri Lankan food one day. The views are breathtaking, and we sat for hours watching the birds and forest animals nearby. Sunrise and sunset are truly something to behold. If you’re looking for a slice of magic, there’s no better place to be. By far the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at, and the best hosts we’ve ever had. It was truly heartbreaking to leave, and we are already planning to come back. 20/10, easiest decision you will make.

We had an amazing stay at Indie’s house! The host and the staff in the house makes you feel right at home. The breakfast in the morning is homemade and delicious. The house, garden and pool were cleaned daily. The host offered lots of info on activities, restaurants and arranged our transportation. The house is spacious, well decorated and has everything you could need. Right on the beach, you can hear the waves from your bedroom. Will definitely stay there again :)

A truly great host and the apartment was outstanding with heavenly views of the Indian ocean. The staff onsite were incredibly helpful. Joseph made himself available whenever required and the driver he organised for our airport transfer and drive to Sigiriya was perfect for us. I could not recommend this host and apartment anymore. We had a great time at this beautiful villa. It’s absolutely stunning and well located to the heart of Ahangama. Tim was extremely helpful and responsive. The staff were not overhearing and left us to get on with things. The breakfasts were delicious and portions generous. One morning we had the Sri Lankan breakfast and the next the international breakfast with delicious butter milk pancakes. Dinner was also great and the chef worked hard to provide a variety as everyone ordered something different. Thanks Gamunu and co we enjoyed our time at the villa.
