Lovely peaceful haven, tucked away at the end of the road around a pretty dam. Cottages are well spaced, well equipped and the grounds lovely to stroll through with our dogs. We loved doing a BBQ breakfast on the terrace and dinner in the restaurant was very good also. We would return to stay here again. Wifi reception is not great, but the peace and quiet is the trade off.

Spent 2 winter nights at The Lantern and it was amazing. Far enough that you feel like you have escaped but close enough that it doesn’t feel like a chore to get to. Communication with Michael was prompt and efficient and the cabin perfectly outfitted with everything you could need. The bed and bedding top notch and the electric blankets especially helpful as we had 2 cold nights. Highlight is the wood fire hot tub and the bathroom/shower area. The overall design of the entire place is really comfortable and inviting. Would highly recommend coming with food to cook - once we arrived we did not want to leave. And in fact, we can’t wait to return in the future.

We loved our stay at Jingella cottage and hope to be back one day. The house was very comfortable and being able to walk to the lovely on-site restaurant was a bonus.

A hidden gem! My stay at Tuckers Lane Boutique Accommodation in North Rothbury, NSW, was peaceful, stylish, and truly rejuvenating. The space strikes a perfect balance between luxury and nature. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, from the tasteful decor to the exceptionally well-stocked toilet amenities, which reflected real care and consideration. A beautifully private and relaxing getaway.

What a beautiful spot. Lavender cottage was perfect for us with little touches that made the difference. The fire pit was ready to go along with marshmallows and prongs to cook them on. Big win with the kids! Hubby and I really appreciated (and enjoyed) the contents of the decanter. After many hours in the car it was a great way to wind down on our first night and definitely encouraged us to grab a few local delights. If I was to nitpick, it would have been nice to have a few more decent bowls for breakfast. First world problems right?

We had a lovely stay at Carol's Eco retreat. Beautiful surroundings and very comfortable accommodation with a lovely outdoor space, including a fire pit where we toasted marshmallows in the evening with our son. The whole place had a very peaceful vibe. It was also lovely to see the work Carol was doing rescuing and looking after young kangaroos at her sanctuary next door. Thank you for a great stay!

We had a wonderful time at Ridgeview, the cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The grounds were beautiful and peaceful. Kris at the cellar door was really helpful and had great suggestions for our time in the Hunter. We would love to stay at Ridgeview again.

'The Wilds' was exactly what my friends and I were after; a place to escape, relax, re-tell old stories and enjoy great food. Four of us were easily accommodated, and the kitchen was surprisingly well appointed (I brought a lot of things I ended up not needing!). The setting was beautiful - very tranquil among the bushland and felt like a million miles from anywhere (although we did go to the Laguna Trading Post one afternoon and it was only a 5 minute drive. I would definitely recommend, and my friends and I are already trying to come up with an excuse of event to come back next year. Jane was an excellent host, as the place was exactly as described, with good proactive communication in the days leading up to the trip, and no issues when we were there.

The perfect base for our Hunter adventure. Location is right in the middle of wine country, with wineries in all directions. The cabin itself was well maintained and had everything we wanted and needed for a perfect stay. They also accommodated our dog which was a major selling point. The accommodation is owned by Harkham Estate, so a free wine tasting was included. The tasting was one of our favourites of the trip. The communication from booking to leaving was first class and always willing to assist where needed. Will definitely be back.

Our stay at Silverpoint was fantastic. Thomas and Christine were great hosts, super helpful, responsive and discreet. They even went out of their way to secure a Google Chromecast for us so we could watch the Formula 1, which we really appreciated. We will be sure to return to Silverpoint. Fantastic place for a small group of family on Central Coast. Had everything you need for a short stay on Central Coast. Great location, close to everything, but still peaceful with lots of space. Recommended!

My partner and I had the most romantic weekend possible. Beautiful loft bedroom was hard to leave! Jane had fridge well stocked with breakfast items which was fabulous and unexpected. Whole vibe is quirky and eclectic with great mix of early Australiana furniture and fittings with modern.

We stayed at Danielle’s for 14 nights using it as a base to visit family and the Central Coast. The location is beautifully quiet, off the road and very private. The cottage, a converted stable block, is rustic and authentic, well presented and beautifully clean. The beautifully appointed bathroom with a great shower, is situated in a separate building only a very short distance from the front door and a late night trip to the loo provides a wonderful view of the night sky. Danielle was a delightful host who was quick to respond to any questions and on hand to help. I would thoroughly recommend Danielle’s cottage to anyone wishing for a relaxing break away from it all.

As animal lovers, we absolutely enjoyed our stay in the cute cabin among the paddocks. It's got a big balcony where we had our breakfast in the morning, and since we were lucky, we also got to watch the horse riding lesson while having breakfast! It's just nice to be able to roam around and greet with Margrete's friendly dogs and horses. Margrete made us feel well taken cared for and we really appreciated that we were able to see how the horses were fed up close while having Margrete explain the process. Overall, a very friendly, relaxing and educational experience that ticks all our boxes for a weekend escape from our city rat race.

This is an absolutely amazing location- just up the road from the Norah Head rock pool (perfect for toddlers) and a short walk to a good Cafe. The place is really comfy and clean. Only downside is the noise that comes from people staying next door. They played music until late into the night, and our little one woke up early in the morning so it was probably annoying both ways! Would still recommend this place though.
