Peach Tree Cottage

RobRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Amber’s place was a lovely period cottage that had been beautifully restored to include all the modern amenities any home would need. It had a lovely outlook, was peaceful and quiet and private whilst also maintaining a lovely view. The veranda was a beautiful place to sit and catch the breeze. It was a perfect spot to come home to after exploring everything the Granite Belt has to offer. Highly recommend.

Creek View Cottage

ClaireRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We liked being in this house very much and will definitely come again. It is spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. Everything worked well. Great to have good air-conditioning, as we were there at the hottest time of year. The position is also excellent, with the High Street and supermarket only a short walk away, and the lovely creek-side park just behind the house. We enjoyed the table tennis too!

Hamlyn Farmhouse, Broadwater near Stanthorpe

GregRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The house was a great place for a long weekend with the family. It was spotlessly clean with all the amenities we needed. The location is very private and still close to town and all the attractions of the area. It was wonderful to stroll around the grounds early in morning. So much bird life! Rob was a superb host. All of his instructions were very clear and he communicated extremely well. Highly recommended!

Kilpa Cottage - 5 Kilpa Street, Stanthorpe.

NoelineRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Having 2 toddlers in a very homey accommodation was amazing. They as well as the rest of my family felt at right at home. Location is right next to a park where my kids would go down to and have a play and my parents enjoyed the crisp morning walk by the lake which is also so close. Thank you so much for hosting my family and I. Definately reccomend staying at Kilpa Cottage.

Tenterfield Beautifully Restored 1886 Home

A group of 6 of us stayed for 2 nights for a ladies weekend. It was beautiful, exactly like the pictures. It was comfortable and clean. It was a really hot weekend, but the house was lovely and cool. We spent a lot of time in the garden just talking. We walked down to wander the shops which were lovely. We had two delicious meals out as well. On the second day we opted to go out for lunch instead of dinner so that we could just settle in and stay and enjoy the beautiful garden into the evening with our drins and nibbles. Merrillee welcome to us when we arrived and provided home-made jams and butter to go with some croissant's that she left us. She also picked some fresh mulberries for us on our arrival. Made us feel so comfortable and was really thoughtful in leaving us to enjoy our weekend.

Blue Maple Tenterfield Modern Farm House

Paul was a fantastic host taking time to show us around the property and explaining how to use equipment. There was a wonderfully welcoming fire and fresh produce in fridge for our breakfast, every possible item was supplied from jam to coffee pods, olive oil and condiments brilliant! Paul always answered our question re local food options and amenities instantly. I would also like to say Paul did not intrude on our stay in anyway he is a first class perfect host. I would definitely return if ever down in the Granite Belt again.

Thanks Cathryn for a fabulous long weekend. Sunday at Mirumiru is definitely a home away from home! It had everything we needed, and included those little extras for our furbaby. The property was great for our dog, secure and she had a ball. Thank you for all your recommendations of what to do/see, it was really helpful! Definitely on our list of places to come back too!

Lane’s End Cottage - cosy farm stay

MalRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Couldn’t recommend Lanes End cottage highly enough. I’d give it 6 stars. Shelley had even put 6 farm fresh eggs in the refrigerator and a litre of milk for us. The cottage is so well equipped we were surprised at the level of amenities. Looking forward to going back. Shelley and her husband are so friendly and willing to make your stay memorable and as an added bonus look out for Gemma the 7 week old Border Collie
A cozy bedroom features a spacious bed adorned with decorative cushions. Fresh towels are neatly rolled on the white bedspread. Natural light filters through the window, complemented by soft curtains, creating a serene environment.

We stayed for one night and arrived after 5pm, our keys and instructions were waiting for us. The lodgings were clean and in great condition. We loved the town centre and enjoyed some great wines at Stone Fruit (local food and wine bar) and a great breakfast at Bad Manners outdoor cafe. We would recommend.

Clydesdale Cottage at Craven Hill Farm

Debbie and Allan were so hospitable and easy to communicate with. They greeted us upon arrival and showed us around the cottage, which was clean and uncluttered; though it still had a homey feel to them and we could make use of the games and books (and percussion instruments). Their cottage is in a beautiful and peaceful location and so close to Passchendaele bouldering. Make sure to say hi to the pony and walk up to the rocks behind the cottage to watch the sunset!

Unique Off-Grid Stay 'The Cabin @ Lonesome'

BruceRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Beautiful peaceful setting, lovely hosts and all you could wish for in a delightful cabin. We had a very relaxing week at Amanda and Tom’s cabin, unwinding from our busy lives, enjoying the home-made bread, the fresh eggs from the chooks, the fresh herbs from the garden and the birds and wildlife on the property. The cabin is spacious, has everything you need, is delightfully decorated with flowers from the garden and has lovely views out across the valley to the national park. It was all we expected and much more, and we would love to come back for another stay and do more exploring of the area.
