Stayed here while I attended a wedding at Redworth Hall so it was a perfect location for that. The room was nice and spacious, lovely comfy bed and I opted for the £5 cooked breakfast in the morning which was a nice treat. Paul and Jasmine made me feel very welcome.

Lovely place to just get your head down after a day on the bike! We were left to our own devices and helped ourselves to a well stocked breakfast room the next morning. Good pub is just a walk down the lane.

Great place to stay if you’re doing the C2C cycle. The Cross Keys pub is a good 10-minute walk (downhill there, uphill on way back). Make sure to save some energy for the walk and book in advance as pub is quite small and v busy! Breakfast was great: help yourself and tonnes of cereal, toast and eggs. Sophie very kindly got some soya milk after I asked for a dairy free option. Sophie and Lizzie also kindly turned the heating on so the room was lovely and warm on arrival. Thanks for a great stay!

Nice place to stay for a few nights. Beds were comfortable, able to to have coffee and tea in the room. Cafe next door that is cheap and nice for breakfast. Easy to find and parking was very useful!! Would stay again.

100% worth the price, best of the best. We had a really really great time together. Pete has a very strong sense of humor, and Carole makes us a wonderful local feast and breakfast. It’s FLAWLESS! My family is really enjoyed. One thing I hate is our English is not so good that we can’t express all our happiness. Even that, they use translation apps to break the barrier. There are so many wonderful details that can't be expressed in the comments. They show the true brilliance of humanity and tell us that friendship knows no boundaries. 100 out of 10!

I had the misfortune of having to see a friend at James Cook University Hospital. Fortunately, I found the wonderful place with Claudio. super spacious suite, 20 minute walk to North Entrance to the hospital, affordable parking spot, beautifully cooked full English breakfast. very happ experience and will recommend to anyone visiting families

Stone Cottage is located for easy access to Newcastle airport and easy access to the city centre via the local Metro system, I timed my walk from the airport and it took me 8mins to walk from door to door! A beautiful home with fantastic facilities, Joan and Kevin are wonderful hosts. Another point is that their local pub called the badger is only a 5mins walk away, this is a fantastic family friendly restaurant/pub serving yummy food at a very affordable price weather your just fancy unwinding after a long day, drinking or eating here is very relaxing.

Another lovely stay at the Cara! The beach is on the doorstep & you come back to a warm stylish room, soft white towels, hot shower & TV. Lots of choice for breakfast, from full English to pancakes or breakfast burritos even! You'll feel really looked after by Mareia or Julia if you stay at the Cara. Highly recommended. brenda x

Had a lovely stay with Steve & Harriet. Warm, friendly welcome in a lovely homely cottage. Bed was really comfortable, it was peaceful and the surroundings are beautiful. Steve made me a delicious breakfast in the morning too. Also worth noting that as a solo female travelling for work, I felt completely comfortable and safe in Steve’s lovely home, thank you.

Jan and Doug are a lovely couple, kind, friendly and welcoming, and Jan was easy to communicate with ahead of our visit. Only two rooms in the b and b, so it has a homely feel. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, and the bed comfortable. They provide a wide selection of teas and coffees in the room - and biscuits! Breakfasts were tasty, with lovely homemade preserves. A few minutes' walk into Corbridge village which has a range of shops and restaurants to choose from. We would happily stay at Peartree Hose again, and thoroughly recommend it.

Cade é sem dúvidas o melhor anfitrião que já conheci! O melhor da acomodação é o Cade, o cara é sensacional, me ajudou muito com tudo que eu precisei. A localização é realmente ótima, a casa fica próxima de supermercado (Tesco), restaurantes, comidas árabes, e ponto de ônibus. O quarto que fiquei foi ótimo, com bom espaço e mobiliado. Vale a pena pelo preço e o atendimento do Cade, que sempre faz o melhor que pode para ajudar! Enfim, sendo direto vale o preço custo-benefício, pelo valor de acomodações no Uk, e em Newcastle, só não espere por detalhes muito limpo. é ótima opção para quem precisa ficar um tempo com relação custo-benefício. Sou muito grato ao Cade e um dia espero voltar, pois Newcastle é uma cidade incrível!

Avril & Angus were fantastic hosts, they couldn’t have been more attentive and the facilities and creature comforts on offer were second to non - in fact, they could rival that of a 5 star hotel! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Georgian Townhouse. The accommodation was perfect, beautifully clean, very comfy beds and the hosts were so helpful. The breakfast at the pancake cafe was delicious too. Would definitely recommend, and we will definitely stay again. Thank you Jane and Robert.

Our stay at Dominic and Elaine's home was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms by the kindest and friendliest hosts we’ve ever met. They truly went above and beyond with personal touches that made us feel right at home. Their attention to detail and thoughtfulness did not go unnoticed! The house itself is absolutely stunning—every corner beautifully designed and immaculately kept. We were constantly in awe of the space and comfort. But what truly made our stay memorable was the incredible breakfast they prepared. It was not only delicious but felt like it was made with such care and love. If you’re looking for a stay that feels both luxurious and warm, we cannot recommend Dominic and Elaine's place enough. We left feeling like we had made new friends, and we’ll definitely be back! Thank you, Dominic and Elaine, for an unforgettable experience!

Heather is a wonderful host and the Coach House is exactly as described. The information provided by Heather is really helpful and Heather responds to queries very quickly. The Coach House is spotlessly clean and has everything you need although the provision of a TV would be a bonus. However, WiFi is available and guests are offered the opportunity to watch TV to on their own devices. The location is excellent with lovely views from the Coach House windows. I would highly recommend the Coach House and I plan to return soon.

Julia is very friendly and easy to stay with - I also appreciated the use of the kitchen and other areas of your very tidy home. Very walkable location, close by to the Metro and also some local shops which are handy for food/anything you may need. I will not hesitate to book again if available and highly recommend to anyone needing somewhere to say locally if you are looking for a home away from home!
