Wonderful stay and host. Loved the home decor. It was very clean. Easy to communicate. Would love to visit again.

This was the perfect snowy getaway we were looking for! The space was even larger then expected, clean, comfortable and very cozy. The views right on the lake were idyllic and we would definitely return here in the summer to take advantage of the water more! The hosts were welcoming and responsive while the space still felt private. Overall this was a peaceful weekend and we would recommend this spot for others to enjoy as well.

It can’t get more convenient (or comfortable) when you’re visiting a student at SUNY Potsdam! This was our second stay and we’ll be back.

My family and I were very impressed with Edward and Elizabeth’s apartment. We went to Messena as our son-in-law was graduating from SUNY Canton which is about 40 minutes away. We were unable to reserve a place as early as I would have liked so, we needed to venture away from Canton. We felt very fortunate to have found this apartment! It was convenient to our destination and easy to find. Also, it was roomy and immaculate and with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms we all had our privacy. The apartment had every appliance we needed and everything was in perfect working order. Having a full kitchen enabled us to save on meals during our stay. Moreover, it was a great value as we would have had to have gotten 2 separate rooms if we had stayed in a hotel which would have more than doubled our costs. Edward and Elizabeth’s apartment was a terrific find and we would be delighted to stay there again if we ever have to revisit the area.

If our child chooses to attend Clarkson University, I would hope to return to this property again and again...Definitely give it a look! All the amenities make it truly a mini getaway, so close to campus and downtown. Kudos!

I made a quick trip to the area to attend graduation, so I mostly unwound and slept there. I was greeted when I arrived. Everything was explained and shown, including the lovely riverside area, which sadly I could not take advantage of due to weather and time restraints. Pleasant, quiet, and friendly all around. It was an easy drive to Canton for graduation festivities.

Michele was lovely host. She was very responsive and proactive, but you didn’t have the sense that there was hovering from the owner. She even brought me a homemade gift after we made a connection. The space was beautiful and so was clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. Finally, the view from the porch overlooking the St. Lawrence river at sunset was magical. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely beautiful location if you need to be in the area! We stayed for Clarkson University graduation and it was very convenient and easy. Gorgeous water view.

We had a great time in a fabulous spot. Best weekend of my summer this year. We saw river otters and a Cormorant while sitting on the deck in the back yard. This cottage is gem in a paradisiac environment.

We had a great stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for our time there. Check-in was smooth, everything was as described, and the host was easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay again—thanks for a great experience!

How was clean, neat, and comfortable. I imagine if the weather was better we would have enjoyed the outdoor amenities. It was also very convenient to downtown.

Becky's space was exactly what my family was looking for. We had an important event to attend in Canton and although it was only 17 minutes away, it felt a million miles away. Peaceful sounds of nature at night a beautiful view of a lightning storm in the distance. Becky was responsive and provided clear instructions. I would stay there again.

We are very pleased with our overall experience and look forward to future bookings. The house is large and will sleep eight. We hope more of our children's families will travel with us next time. Our family near this property has a small home, so this home is large enough for us to gather inside and spend time together.

Renfu and Ying are super hosts. To any questions we had, they responded in a heartbeat. We conveniently got to access the property a bit earlier and they were even mailing us a personal item which we unfortunately left behind. We would recommend this spacious and neatly kept home to anyone - the kayaks you can take out while on vacation are a fun addition. Thank you Renfu and Ying :)

Lal's place was very comfortable to stay at and I'll be using this location again in the future over hotels. Located in a nice neighbourhood to go for walks. It has a seperate entrance conveniently located on the front of the home. Not sure why others are complaining about being able to hear the family, you're staying in somebody else's home 🫤. Btw, the walls are not "paper thin" like others have said. It's muffled just like any other home.

Wonderful place to stay, & Christian is the best!!

Our friend group was looking for a place to stay close to the whiteface mountain and we got super lucky to find Jo’s house! Beautiful house, stylish & super cozy - we felt like at home right away! All this in addition to beautiful surroundings made our trip an unforgettable experience! Each bedroom had a private bathroom and a common bathroom on the first floor which was amazing for a group of 6 people. Showers deserve an additional mention - it was definitely a calming and relaxing experience! Jo is an amazing host. Communication was great, we were given a lot of recommendations about local “must-visit” places. The host is super responsive, kind and understanding! Overall, it was an unforgettable experience at Jo’s place and hopefully we can go there again in the future! we highly recommend it!!

Linda's place was perfect! It was very clean, was just like the pictures, and very well designed -- just really beautiful. It is right on the lake and we took full advantage of the outdoor space as well as the kayaks and paddle boards. Linda was an incredibly gracious and responsive host. We would highly recommend her place!

Mark and Karen’s place was great. Very clean. Hits were very helpful. I’d stay there again for sure !

Very beautiful cozy place located calm, quite, and picturesque environment! Cassandra was very quick in responding to our concerns and solving things to make our stay as much comfortable as possible. Highly recommend staying at this place.
