Using the shack as your base, no matter which direction you choose to venture, there’s an array of experiences and activities to explore, 20 min to Hobart Airport, 40 min to Hobart, gateway to Richmond, East Coast, Port Arthur and the Tasman Peninsula. We had a wonderful stay at Stewart’s Bay. It’s such a peaceful and idyllic spot. We enjoyed swimming in the cool autumn waters, kayaking and walking to nearby Port Arthur where we loved the night time ghost tour. There are also great places to drive to and tour guides nearby including a fantastic dive centre in Eagle Hawk’s Neck, and the Three Capes hike which we loved. A very special place to visit in Tasmania!
