Wonderful & Cosy Vacation Home

Spend your vacation in Sønderho - Denmark's Most Beautiful Village in 2011. Beautiful and charming fanøhaus, carefully restored in 2011, with emphasis given to the conservation of the old fanø style with small windows with its distinctive color. The house is bright and beautiful with accommodation for 6 people. The interior is a tasteful mix of old and new. Situated on 2500 m2 of heather-clad area, about 1 km. from Sønderho city center The house has 6 beds, beautiful new kitchen with dishwasher, a large oven and induction. You will find a comfortable spacious terrace, with good shelter from the east and west winds. The property stands in the wild and there is by nature plenty of heather and pine trees. The house is 110 m2, is thatched roofed and is painted in the old style over the small windows in black, white and green - symbolizing sadness, joy and hope. Over the entrance door there's a hatch, a "arkengaf", which was once the entrance to the attic where they kept hay, heather, and others like that stored. On the ground floor, you will find the entrance hall, a spacious living room with large corner couch, and a dining area with an old long table with a stroke bench and 4 beautiful decorated chairs. Kitchen with induction hob, oven, dishwasher and a fridge with small freezer compartment. Bathroom with shower, bedroom with double bed and a rear entrance with washer and dryer. On the first floor are two bedrooms. One with double bed and one with two single beds. There is also a small toilet. The living room has flat screen TV. The house is equipped with a power-saving and energy efficient heat pump / air conditioner, to heat up the house, it has a fireplace (stove) and electric radiators as well. The heat pump is environmentally friendly and very energy efficient. This means that the house energy cost is very low in cold periods, and makes an ideal holiday home in the winter. The heat pump can be used as air conditioning in the summer time. Large wooden terrace with garden furniture, sun loungers and a barbecue.

Wonderful townhouse in the heart of Nordby on Fanø.

Our cozy newly built (2022) annex is located in the heart of old Nordby. In the annex there is a living room, large kitchen, 2 rooms (in one there is a double bed, in the other there are 2 single beds), large bathroom and entrance. From the accommodation there are 5 minutes by bike to the ferry, 10 minutes by bike to the beach and 0 minutes to shopping and downtown. There is a private terrace with plenty of space to enjoy the weather. In addition, the annex has its own parking right at the door.

What we most often hear about our summerhouse is that it has a lovely atmosphere, that you feel welcome and at home, and that it is cozy. We strive for the cottage to be personal but also functional, which is why the decor is a good blend of new and old. We bought the summerhouse in 2018, renovate it a bit along the way and as time is the time. What we want is that the summerhouse appears cozy and personal. Lovely stay in secluded and lovely surroundings, located in Rindby Strand, where you can relax with the whole family. From the sofa there is a view of dunes, nature and rich wildlife, where rabbits and deer come all the way up to the terrace. The house is heated with heat pump and there is underfloor heating in the bathroom. The house is well furnished with central living room and kitchen / living room as well as 2 rooms with 140x200 cm beds.

The house offered (because it is) is modern and bright. Very pleasant to stay in. It is important to know that the bathroom (plus toilet) and bedroom are upstairs. For us, this was an advantage. In addition, plenty of space to store groceries and your clothes. When we are in the neighborhood again, we will definitely come back.

We spent our summer vacation in the property. Surroundings are really fantastic. The sea is within minutes. Swimming beaches are also easily accessible by car. The place was very nice, lovingly decorated and had a great flair. However, the bathroom is really very small, but just as sufficient for two people. Towels and bed linen must be brought along, a note in the description would have been desirable. Overall, the island is great and offers many opportunities for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.

A light-filled living area features a comfortable sofa and a sturdy wooden coffee table. Warm orange curtains frame the windows, allowing natural light to illuminate the space. A television is positioned on a small stand, while art pieces adorn the walls, adding subtle character.

The house is furnished with a lot of love for detail and is beautifully quiet between a horse paddock and the beach. It offers everything your heart desires. Highlights for me are the absolutely idyllic location, the beautiful garden, the hot tub and the Weber grill. Hanne is a very kind host and a stay with her is highly recommended. I'd love to come back!

Cozy and charming place, which can be warmly recommended. Nice double bed, slept really well. Nice with minibar. Outside the tent, a nice homemade bench, where we could enjoy breakfast and dinner in the sun, quite uninhibited.
