Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Sonafluca

We all loved our stay! The place is so close to everything! We got to visit cloud forest and local shops. All of Nohelia’s food recommendations were spot on! She was even helping me plan things to do before we got there, which I really appreciated! Place was clean and decorated very cute. We were a small group, but I would love to visit again with more people because there was so much space. Thank you again!

If every Airbnb had a Tobi, the world would be a better place. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay in Monteverde. We enjoyed the tranquility of the property, watching the sunsets and the kids enjoyed swinging on the jungle vine! It is up a steep hill but Toni’s directions were great. Coming from living by a national park in Canada I struggled with having to pay fees every time we wanted a nature walk/hike. This can add up quickly for a family of four as every park or trail has their own fee system. It’s as shame as the cloud forest is such a beautiful landscape and I wish it were more freely accessible. We really enjoyed the night safari though, and got to see some really neat creatures including a sloth and bioluminescent scorpion.😍 I would recommend Rainbow House as a great place to stay to explore Monteverde.

If you value travel for its cultural exchange, but you still want your own space and privacy, this may be the perfect combination for you. I traveled with my partner and 3 kids to La Fortuna and stayed for 2 nights at Jose’s Genesis house. The house itself had several charms and perks: a pretty pool our young daughters loved, a jacuzzi, fun bunk beds, a washer and dryer, a luxurious shower, great AC, a fully-equipped kitchen… Jose checked on us after we arrived to make sure we had what we needed. We were very comfortable in the space! For us, the included tour offered something unexpected and special. We are Americans with a culture of not wanting to “impose,” feeling impolite even just for talking too long to someone we don’t know well. By the end of our time with Jose and his family, I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that they had invited us into their home as if we, too, were family. I’m still awed by their trust, relaxed ease, and welcoming spirit.

My friends and I had a really good stay, and we loved the location and the house. However, somehow we were able to hear when the motorcycles pass by the house when we were sleeping in the middle of the night, and that would wake us up. Other than that, they were very responsive, helpful, property is very clean. extremely convenient as there is a store + coffee shop right across the street.

Simplemente espectacular, tanto el lugar como Nuria la anfitriona se ganaron unos visitantes más por muchísimo tiempo. Desde que llegamos la experiencia fue como estar en casa, el trato y la amabilidad de la anfitriona lo dejan a uno con una sensación maravillosa. Las instalaciones son exactamente como se ven en las fotos, un lugar de ensueño. Sin duda volveremos!!!

Raquel’s place was amazing! Raquel was very responsive, kind and helpful. The home was great, very clean and cozy. The location is great as well! It’s a 10 minute walk to the grocery store, and a three minute walk to a great restaurant. I highly recommend staying here!

Greetings, I wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. We loved the views of the lake and mountains. The view from the living room is a constant reminder of the incredible natural beauty of Arenal. We enjoyed how the morning light fills the house, especially the main bedroom. We cooked almost every day. Great stove and a well equipped kitchen was a plus and saved us a lot of money. The house is cozy with great views. The grounds are beautiful and enhance the surrounding natural beauty. We really enjoyed the quiet comfort of the house and the environment you have created. Juan's place was CLEAN, nice pots, pans, flatware, great fridge, BEAUTIFUL wood ceilings, comfortable couch, beautiful and clean bathroom. The wifi worked very well. Me and my guest were very impressed with the room. It is so clean that you can actually let your children sit and play on the floors. Juan was very accommodating. He kindly helped me by allowing me to do a late check-in. He was very responsive to my needs and questions. He suggested a great location to go eat and the food was good! This room is right near town. Definitely walkable to restaurants, stores, and places of interest in both directions! The cost of this room was well worth it! My only issue: No side tables in the bedrooms. There was nowhere to set my glasses or cell phone before bed time except on the shelf in front of the bed. No lamps in the bedrooms; you have to keep the bright ceiling lights on when it's late and you want to wind down. Lights had greenish hue. But this room was still awesome!

Me sentí bastante cómodo, una zona muy bonita, disfrute bastante mi estancia y de viajar por la zona, sin dudas me volvería a hospedar en el mismo lugar!

La locación es increíble, si lo que busca es tranquilidad y paz este es el espacio. Muy cerca de Santa Clara y hasta el portón todo asfaltado. Y Marisol nos atendió a las mil Maravillas. Para volver definitivamente.

We loved our stay here! This cute little bnb is off the beaten path with gorgeous views and quiet surroundings 😊 the inside is clean and comfortable and the shower has hot water and comfortable water pressure. The driveway is no joke! Be prepared with a four wheel drive vehicle or to walk. We took our vehicle up and by the end felt comfortable driving up it but the first time was intimidating. Jose helped us find the place with super clear directions and came out when we arrived to greet us and give us some tips for things to do close by. Love the hammock and gazebo and the friendly little kitty that wanders around!

La vue du balcon est tout simplement magnifique. Toutes les commoditiés y sont et la propreté est irréprochable. C'était notre deuxième séjour là bas, la cuisine est nouvellement rénovée et géniale. Vraiment nous n'hésiterons pas à y retourner, la famille Silvio's a vraiment à coeur le bien de ses clients, vraiment la Casa Del Sol est extraordinaire!

La cabaña es muy bella, tranquila, equipada con todo lo que se requiere. Es una opción para descansar. Unicamente es alejada del centro de población, se requiere vehículo permanente para los traslado. No es conveniente para personas solas, porque es muy retirada.

Ein wunderschöner Garten mit zahlreichen Tieren. Ein muss ist es bis in die Dunkelheit draußen zu sitzen. Eine tolle Unterkunft mit Flair. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

we had an amazing time and would definitely come back. Our highlight: you can spot a lot of animals from the deck of the house including a sloth and a toucan. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. if you are looking for a place that is peaceful, private but still only a 10 minute drive to the town, this is perfect for you.

Christina is an amazing host! She is always responsive, and knows the area very well. The breakfasts were amazing and comprehensive. Being able to walk to dinner at Selina was great as well as Monteverde. Walking to an art gallery and family-fun cafetal (coffee farm), albeit down the mountain, was challenging yet awesome. Pura Vida!

The house is lovely and cozy, and the view is amazing. The road there was rougher than we expected, but nothing too bad. Our second day was somewhat inconvenient, but Lauren kept communication open and solved the problems for us. Still thankful they accommodated us, as it was a last-minute trip.
