We decided to go away over the new year and chose Kristine and Hans place in Norway What a great choice ! Kristine and Hans where great and very accommodating and could not do enough, they kept us informed about everything all the way We had the best holiday ever, we had everything we could wish for, the northern lights and a ton of snow We were snowed in on the last day and Kristine and Hans let us stay a extra night as we could not travel They where the perfect hosts and we will be stopping here again without any hesitation Thanks you both

What a wonderful home away from home for a long weekend! The house is part of two different worlds - one the rural Norway of the past and the other very much the present. Being on a working dairy farm also made us reflect on the sources of our food and how much we take for granted day-to-day. We enjoyed convenient access to kayaking, hiking, cruising the fjord by ferry to Geiranger, and cooking local foods in the well-appointed kitchen. Special thanks to Synnove for fresh home-baked bread and sending on our way with slices of cake for the journey.

We recently stayed at Terje’s charming farmhouse in Norway’s Hjørundfjord, and it was a special experience. The farmhouse blends old-world charm with modern amenities and offers breathtaking views of the fjord. The house is equipped with all modern comforts, including a well-stocked kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, a big-screen smart TV, an outdoor hot tub, and comfortable beds to accommodate a large group. Two ferry ports a short drive from the farmhouse offer free rides to Ålesund, the roadless village of Trandal, and other destinations. Terje was exceptionally hospitable, providing great recommendations for local hiking activities and promptly responding to all our inquiries. He went above and beyond to make our stay at the farmhouse exceptional. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and picturesque getaway!

Had a lovely stay at this cabin! Beautiful location with so stunning views all around. The cabin was clean and cozy, everything was as described. A lovely warm shower after a rainy day was perfect! Friendly and fast replies from the host Anita. Highly recommend!

Awesome and charming house 😊 Well equipped with what you need to stay. A little secluded place, but by car it's not a problem! Lovely with hot tub 👌 Never met the host, but easy to communicate with her on message, she responded quickly if there was anything we were wondering about. The stay is recommended by us, we are happy to book again if we are going to the area at a later date!

We had a wonderful stay for our honeymoon - everything from useful hiking suggestions, quick to bring us anything we needed, to a magical hotpot experience! We couldn't have asked for more out of our stay of from Venise and Gaby. The location was perfect for accessing the less known hiking spots but still with those spectacular views, as well as being close to the ferry so it was easy to hop over to Volda. It was peaceful and we loved the views over the water, and we made good use of the fireplace for cozy evenings. Don't be put off by the road near by, there is very infrequent cars so you hardly hear anything at all!

Perfect for nature lovers. The accommodation is nice and very well-equipped. It feels like home. Roar is a very welcoming host and tells us what to do in the area. i recommend it.

Beautiful place overlooking the fjord , terrace where you can eat breakfast and drink coffee with a beautiful view , had a marina from which you can fish or swim in the fjord . I recommend the place

We had an amazing stay at an amazing Norwegian farmhouse with hiking nearby and floating saunas on the fjord in Sæbo. Very central to take ferries wherever you want to go. We highly recommend staying here!

Everything was as described, completely uncomplicated. Very clean, the highlight was the underfloor heating in the bathroom.

I stayed in this house for 3 days for sightseeing such as Geiranger and Trollstigen and the house was very comfortable like my own home. It was neat and clean, and I wrote down all the instructions carefully from the cleaning tools. However, it is in front of the ferry dock, so if you open the window, there will be some flies coming in. The house was quiet and tranquil.

Lovely cabin in spectacular surroundings. The cabin has everything you need and it is very nicely decorated. Really comfortable to be there. Nice to be able to drive all the way. Information from host about everything you need to know Ready-made beds and fresh bouquet whose way on the terrace says a lot about hosting. Really recommended!

Monica and Ivar are great hosts. they are very welcoming and helpful. The stay is very nice and cozy and with all the amenities. There is a bus stand just right outside the house and it takes only 15 minutes to go to Alesund central. The view from the house is also a bonus.

We really enjoyed the town of Andalnes and the beautiful landscapes in this area! This house was in a perfect location right on the Romsdalfjorden and we could see the town right across the water. There was a nice patio which was perfect for watching the sunset and the beautiful scenery! It was also conveniently located for great hikes and the Romsdal skylift. Thanks for sharing your great house!

This downstairs apartment is very useable and is in a well maintained yard and surroundings where you can sit and relax and enjoy a great view and soak up the sunshine. The town sentrum is a 20min walk away and there is lots to see and do there including the Viking museum and replica Viking boat. For me it was a good central location for day trips.

A great stay! We went there for a local beer festival, which was in a walking distance. The place is greatly located above a convinient store, so it was easy to get food etc. The place is like home comfortable and nice. The beds were super soft. Lise Katrin was super helpful and inviting host, where we got great information and communication.

Helge's place been full of everything what we needed for our daily routine. Location and house - spot on, parking - easy fits more than two cars. Owner is super easy to get in touch with. 100% recommend for others who will look for place to stay in STRYN !!!!!
