Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Skinners Shoot

Enchanted place! Creek house went beyond my expectations.. everything was just perfect. The luxurious and quite expensive ammenities and furnishings, the spacious clean cabin, loved the deck areas, awesome outdoor shower, constant hot water, easy undercover parking (unlike most airbnbs park far away then unload/load car in rain/mud and walk a few hundred meters)! Appreciated vacuum and hose - could even clean the car! And best of all of course was the magical creek and nature / surrounds. However slept on camp mat as bed was terrible and also my mum was terrified of the long winding road there in the rain. I would come back on my own or with a partner. Would be a great for a honeymoon, writers, thinkers, yogis, meditators, health and wellbeing retreat. Peaceful tranquil private beautiful and magical

Josh! What a beautiful home you have! We had the most magical stay with so much room to move indoors and outdoors. The sheer amount of windows made me feel like I was outside even when I was sipping on tea and reading a book under the covers. We made some many delicious meals in the kitchen and adored the local produce, pasta and meat a few minutes down the road at The Barn. Although the spa was unfortunately not working during our stay, the bathtub beside the home was a great substitute. The sauna high up on the property truly allowed us to be among the tree tops and that view is no joke. Your home, felt like my home very quickly after I arrived and that says so much to me as a guest about the time and intention you put into making the feel welcome. I appreciated your communication along the way as it allowed me to feel like any troubles I may have stumbled across could be shared. I can’t wait to come again in the future 🤗

From the moment we arrived, everything about this Airbnb exceeded our expectations. The space was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we appreciated the attention to detail throughout the home.  The host was exceptionally welcoming and responsive, providing clear instructions and helpful local tips that made our trip even more enjoyable. The location was ideal—peaceful yet conveniently close to local attractions, restaurants, and shops. We truly felt at home and would not hesitate to book this place again. We enjoyed at stay at Matthew's house. Plenty of room for everyone to relax and a large, well-equipped kitchen. Short walk to Alstonville cafes and shops.

Fantastic home, in a great location walking distance to shops and restaurants and a fantastic view of the creek. Home is fully equipped with lots of activities for the whole family for indoor and outdoor fun. This home has everything you need. We had the most relaxing time.

We stayed here for 2 weeks and enjoyed it immensely. A very comfortable and spacious home with a lot of natural light. It’s a beautiful old Queenslander with a wrap-around verandah, which was so enjoyable to sit out on and enjoy the peaceful surrounds of nature. The house was comfortable, private and very clean. Kitchen was well stocked. Located just a 10 minute drive to Tintenbar where there’s a general store and post office and only a 20 minute drive to Lennox Head (beach). Hannah was a great host and always helpful, friendly and very responsive to all our questions. We hope to be able to stay here again in the future.

Allan and David were wonderful hosts and met us when we arrived, which made us feel very welcome. The house was absolutely perfect. The photos do not do it justice. The quality of the property really stood out, with so much attention to detail everywhere. The pool and the views over the Byron hinterland were simply stunning. Even though the weather was terrible during our stay, it did not matter. We loved sitting by the large French doors, watching the weather roll through. Everything about this property was first class. Nothing was overlooked. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone. It is a truly exceptional place.

If you get the chance to spend time here do it. This is a really special place. The home is super stylish and comfortable and the location is absolutely amazing. Calm and peaceful yet close to so much. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation. Steven is very easy to communicate with.

We always enjoy our annual trip to Hayden’s place at Sky Lodge. Usually we book the studio apartment but this time we booked the one bedroom apartment and we had the best time. Unbeatable views and great amenities. We enjoyed spending time on the deck and spacious lounge area and soaking in the stunning views. Kitchen was ample to be able to cook anything we needed to. Great communication and flexibility with early check in provided. We will be back again next year.

Very close to the beach and much more spacious than we expected. The kitchen is very well appointed. We walked to the beach, Tallebudgera creek and Burleigh Heads to enjoy the nature. It was also really handy having two sets of keys. Parking was a bit tricky at times but I think that’s the case most places in the area. I would definitely recommend this lovely apartment.

The perfect place for our group to stay in Byron for a week over New Years. Amazing spot, close to beaches, easy walk into Byron. Easy to chill out in the house if need be, with a spa and a big living area with foxtel. The owner is very easy to communicate with if any questions or problems arise Will 100% stay again!

Would highly recommend Hayden’s place at Binna Burra - the views are stunning, surrounded by great walks, the accommodation was tidy with everything we needed. Will stay again next time we’re back that way!

Spent 4 nights at Mark’s home In the clouds. Fantastic views (when it wasn’t raining) and a great retreat from the occasionally pesky leeches. Walking in the rainforest comes with joys like that, so it was great to know a cosy dry place awaited me. The studio packed a huge amount into its tiny space (but with a gigantic bathroom??). The technology took some patience, but sticking with Mark’s detailed notes helped. Be aware the fridge is tiny which places a limit on supplies, but likely not a problem if you’re only staying a night or two. And there’s always the Teahouse as a backup. (Also no washing machine.) Mark provides detailed notes, which are very helpful. The price isn’t cheap, but I’d rather that than a tent or dark and damp cabin.

Great location with magnificent views of the ocean. Special treat unexpected was sleeping to the sound of the ocean. The units main windows completely open up and you have an undisturbed view of the locals surfing at sunrise. Underground parking was convenient and easy. Everything else you need is within walking distance. We had a wonderful stay thank you!

Beautiful and peaceful location with an incredible view. Paul’s home is very well stocked and has everything you need for your stay. The large kitchen makes it easy to cook up a feast for your big groups. Bedrooms and amenities were comfortable (great to have a dog friendly option). Thank you for hosting us!

Amazing home for our 2 families of 10! Fantastic home in an ideal location ~ close to great cafes, restaurants and great beaches. The home was absolutely perfect with lots of added extras including pantry items, cleaning products, coffee pods and beach towels. The kids had an amazing time using the bikes, paddle boards and canoes left for us to use. Our host Keisha was extremely helpful and very quick in responding to our questions. We will definitely be back to visit! Thank you 😊

What a place! Lisa and her family were great and welcoming host and we loved our stay there.

We absolutely loved this place. Its set in a lovely tranquil setting in the wilderness with spectacular views of the mountains. The fitout of our retreat is modern and well planned and set out. The kitchen was fully functional, bed extremely comfortable with a beautiful deck looking out across the mountains which made the experience all the more relaxing. Graham was wonderful and accommodating. We can't wait to come back.

From the moment I arrived I felt like I had entered an oasis of healing and self reflection with a transcendence of kind energy, as Paul made me a fresh cup of tea and told me about his path to help others transform their journey through various holistic practices. I did manage to try out the light and sound therapy experience, and would 100% recommend it for anyone interested in healing and science. The shower utilised a rain water tank, and the bedroom was surrounded by beautiful scenery, sounds of birds, and rustling trees. These of course added to the overall ability to relax and unwind. I ventured out to the mineral pool on a few occasions, which was surprisingly a comfortable temperature till late in the evening. Locally, there was an abundance of things to see and do, and Paul made sure I was informed. The various house guest all made me feel so welcome, one inviting me to her birthday and another preparing and sharing a curry, health tips and drinks. Thank you 🙏

The house was nestled up on a hill with beautiful views of the ocean and stars at night. The house was nice and spacious, especially the deck. However, it was not well maintained. We experienced a broken fan and a broken tool to open the windows that were too high to reach. Part of what makes this house really special is the beautiful big windows that look out onto a stunning view. However, there were no screens and it was quite warm in the house unless the windows were open. At night we felt the need to close the windows due to bugs, which made it a bit uncomfortable for us in the evenings.

We had a wonderful time at Bliss Villa, beautiful, private, secluded - a true sanctuary! The spa within the gorgeous gardens was pure luxury and we enjoyed the fish ponds and nature surrounds. Highly recommend and we’ll be back again for some couples time and rest & relaxation.
