Holiday House 3 - Fantastic View

NataliaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
It is a small, cozy cottage with beautiful surroundings. Perfect for one or two people for a quick stay. It was a little too hot , so we turned off the heat over night and it was still warm in the morning. Amazing views at night time. It is a great place to see the Northern lights with no light pollution. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Jórvík cottage 2, in Álftaver.

MarloRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We loved being surrounded by the farm animals and wild birds. When you wake up, you will be greeted by beautiful Icelandic nature and glaciers in the distance. You have to drive about 6 km on a gravel road to get to the accommodation, but we were able to easily do so in our two-wheel drive rental car.

Hrifunes Nature Park- Grand Datorfa 5

CodyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Nature Park is a beautiful hub to explore south Iceland - the views are amazing and the surrounds serene. The homes are sleek and very well equipped. The sauna served us well, as did the hot tub. Just know that the hot tubs are wood-fired, and take 3-4 hours to get up to temperature, so start the process as soon as you check in if you want a dip. Once it gets up to temperature, it can stay very hot for several hours.

Cottage 2 Kirkjubær II -Sleeping bag accommodation

Maria IsabelRating, 5 stars2 days ago
The cabin is very clean with all the amenities listed. The campsite is very nice. Just didn’t like the restrooms that are in a service house far away from the cabins and in a Rainy-cold night are not good.

A wonderful modern little bungalow embedded in Iceland’s countryside and rugged terrain. Our tiny home felt very private and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The bed was warm, the shower was hot, and the stove worked well. We would definitely return and can’t recommend this enough!

Luxury House nr.6 on family farm

YingRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We stayed at the farm for only a day to venture the south side of Iceland, and this is the perfect stay! It is a bit secluded from restaurants, but it was very peaceful and clean. It was a pretty cloudy night, but the view was still amazing and saw some stars! The heated bathroom floors + towel warmers are the perfect touch. In addition, we got a visit from the cat, and that was the perfect way to end the visit. I would recommend this place for those who are looking to get away from the city during your trip. Ingi is also an amazing host and super friendly!

Giljaland tiny house-3

ShannonRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Cute group of tiny homes in a beautiful setting with designated parking and a wooden walkway connecting the units. We stayed in unit 3 so we had an unobstructed view of the hillside. The laundry room was very much appreciated and they provide detergent too. They also recycle and compost, which we appreciated as we didn't see it offered at other places we stayed. They had a travel crib available for our young son and a nice deck with a table and chairs, so we enjoyed sitting outside in the evening after he went to bed. The place is tiny as described, the couch converts to the bed for sleeping.

What a fantastic cabin in the woods. I wish we had an extra day or two to spend here and enjoy the scenery and the peace and quiet. One of the best nights that we spent in Iceland.

Cosy house in south Iceland close to the Interior

MarciaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Cosy indeed for two people. Bed was comfortable and the big chair in the living room was more comfortable than at any other place we stayed. Note that there aren’t any food items such as cooking oil, coffee, etc. Beautiful landscape even in the rain.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was a very remote location and incredibly beautiful. The directions were helpful and we arrived without issue. The house had all the pots and pans, soap and blankets we could need. Beautiful location and proximity to Vik was great.

Secluded Cabin on the Waterfront!

AliRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This is the cutest most picturesque Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. I would recommend it to anyone and I loved it so much I’d copy the floor plan if I ever build a small cabin. The host was very helpful too! Can’t go wrong here 😊
