Family-friendly vacation rentals in Sintra

The property was perfect for our group visiting Cascais for the Ibercup. The host was fantastic and on hand to welcome us into the property. The host recommended the best local restaurants and the property literally had everything we needed and immediately felt like home. The only slight negative if anything was the local night noise at the weekend but with a central location it is expected. I would most definitely consider again when visiting the area and recommend to friends.

Candida let us in, explained about the house, things to see and do in the area, including restaurants, the local mini market and butcher shop, beaches and other interest points. she gave us some helpful tips. the house is very suitable for young children. there are games for children in the house, plastic plates and cups. our 3&5 year olds really liked it. it is a short drive from the marina(less than 10 minutes) and from the beaches on the western coast.

Pedro was amazing and very accommodating. After long drive from Barcelona we arrived late and he made small snacks for us which we really appreciated. Thank You Pedro! We will defiantly stay again. Regards Lev

great location and great communicator

We had a great honeymoon stay at Filipe’s place. Even bigger than suggested in the photos with a super comfy bed and sofa and all mod cons as listed. Perfectly located for the metro, buses and trains plus walking distance to all the famous landmarks. Decent supermarket in the local train station with a huge flea market and cute jazz club really close by. Filipe was super responsive and really kindly allowed us to check in early and check out late which was massively appreciated. Highly recommend.

This Airbnb was exactly what my group was looking for! The house looked just like the photos, and the hosts were incredibly accommodating. Upon check-in, we were warmly welcomed by Rudy’s mother, Sylvie, who kindly introduced us to the space. The pool and outdoor seating area were lovely additions, and having a walkable grocery store nearby was super convenient. Rudy and Sylvie were very responsive and made us feel truly welcome. We would absolutely stay here again—thanks for a wonderful experience!

The unit is very spacious; even bigger than the pictures. It was very clean and has everything needed to recharge when traveling with a family. The kitchen was sunny and cheerful. Maria was extremely kind and helpful.

The apartment was one of the best I've booked on Airbnb. It was very well equipped. We hardly had to buy any basics. A hairdryer, parasols, beach towels, and flip-flops were also provided. We felt very comfortable from the start. There was a problem with the hot water one evening – Ana responded super quickly, and the next morning a technician was there to fix it. Communication was really great. Ana is very warm and extremely helpful. Two wonderful beaches are nearby within walking distance, where we were almost alone in the evening to watch the sunset. Overall, it's very quiet – there's also a communal pool, which we didn't use, but it was also not very busy. Pure relaxation :) We didn't have a car – if you want to explore the surrounding area, it's a bit inconvenient, so taking an Uber or a car is definitely recommend.There's also a nice guide with tips. However, it's very easy to walk into the center, and it's very nice and has a few restaurants. We highly recommend our stay there!

Thanks Maria for the great stay! We really enjoyed the big garden, the hammock, sun beds, too bad we couldn't enjoy the pool more due to the weather but just the look of it made us happy 😊 The house is comfortable, we liked having our own dishwasher & washing machine (since we stayed for 2 weeks). The location is lovely, not far from Ericeira center (5 min by car) and you walk right into the countryside from the house. Would recommend staying here 👍

The place was very quiet, with a nice garden area. We didn’t even feel that the owner’s family was living upstairs, since we didn’t hear any noise at all. We had all the amenities needed, and slept very well in comfy beds. The fact that we were allowed to use the parking inside the house was very handy. The communication with Angelina was very easy and she responded promptly to our questions. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a nice quiet neighborhood, with easy access to Lisbon and Cascais/Sintra areas.

Amazing place, all the rooms, kitchen and pool are spotless. Very clean, Carla was amazing with all the recommendations and hospitality. The pool was a perfect touch for Lisbon sunny days. Will stay here again.

This was a great spot to stay with my older parents as well as my 2 young children. Lots of privacy on a quiet street. We even enjoyed meeting the neighbour's friendly dog. I would recommend staying here anytime!

A great house and village. Very well located, on a quiet street, in the center of town. It has a greengrocer - supermarket 100 meters away. The village is quiet and pleasant. It has 2 or 3 bars and 3 restaurants. A 20-minute walk to Adraga Beach, a 10-minute drive to other beaches. The house is very nice, just as seen in the photos and as described. The kitchen is super-equipped. The master bedroom is very large and beautiful. The other two bedrooms are single and are fine. We'll be back as soon as we can.
