Really an excellent stay if you want to have a beach getaway with friends. Only one bathroom which can make it a bit difficult if there are a lot of people but otherwise phenomenal. The location is perfect and so close to the ferry to take you into the city. Highly recommend!

The house is close to the beach and some restaurants. The house is clean and well furnished. Sandra checked us in personally and also suggested some restaurants. A really positive experience.

The stay went very well, the owner Maria is very friendly and helpful. The house has a very good view and it was very nice to be able to take our dog. The house was clean and everything was available.

From the cottage, you can look out over the mountains. It is wonderfully quiet with the exception of the sound of the birds. the cottage is full of comforts and stylishly decorated. communication is fast and very friendly. There are plenty of nice restaurants and beautiful beaches in the area. definitely worth visiting!

We had a wonderful time at Casa Jacaranda, the week just evaporated leaving us wanting to stay longer. The setting is stunning with views across the hills all the way to the south coast and the garden is beautifully kept. The pool was a real bonus, although a little fresh in early April. But once acclimatised, it's lovely after a long day to soak up the view. The house itself is spotless, incredibly clean and well tended. Almost everything you could need is available with the kitchen being well provisioned. The location is good, being out of the usual tourist hotspots but still close enough to amenities and good for day trips. A particular favourite are the west coast beaches, well worth a visit especially Praia da Bordeira - but get there early to ensure parking! If you need to work while away, the WiFi is super fast - way faster than anything we have back home. Definitely a place we would love to return to!

an amazing stay in a quiet area, perfect for authentic experience. everything worked great and looked so nice. please note, stairs a bit steep and loft area very squeaky but did not bother me. host was so friendly and responded very quickly. I felt very safe as a solo female traveler. a few restaurants close by and amazing beaches 20-30 minutes away. I would stay again!!

Chiho & Nuno’s apartment was very charming and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. It has a nice private deck and view of the castle. It is centrally located within walking distance of most Lisbon attractions.

The most beautiful home. Central / walkable location. Very clean and spacious home. Easy check in, navigation and communication with the host. Stunning location. Peaceful and private. Within a 10 minute walk to two beautiful beaches. Ricardo left a long list of recommendations on where to eat, what to do and which spots provided traditional Portuguese experience. Overall 10/10 and highly recommend!

João's place is so well put together. Everything you could need, lots of nice restaurants nearby and right beside the train station and the beach. Top marks!

Me and my sister had a wonderful time at Miguel's place. The flat is very spacious, clean and has everything you need. The view is absolutely incredible and we loved the peaceful atmosphere :). Miguel was super helpful and always available. Looking forward to coming back!

Beautiful apartment for our stay in Lisbon. Really close to lots of nice attractions such as the castle and viewpoints and easy to walk down to the waterfront. There are plenty of restaurants/cafes nearby to eat and also easy to access through uber if you want to go further afield. The pool and garden space is a particular highlight of the apartment - great to relax in the afternoon post sightseeing! Wonderful communicative hosts who were very helpful with recommendations and accommodating of our check in and out times. Would highly recommend a stay here and hopefully we will come back for another visit!

Staying at Joana’s place in Lagos was the most heartwarming and memorable Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed - not just as guests, but as a little family. My wife, our baby, and I were blown away by the love and attention Joana poured into every detail of the home. The interior is simply stunning - unbelievably lovely, with an eye for exceptional decoration that makes the space feel not only stylish but deeply cozy and comforting. Every corner felt thoughtfully put together, inviting us to slow down and feel at home. One of our favorite features was the patio with its small pool, perfect for a refreshing dip during the warm afternoons. It became a peaceful little sanctuary, away from the buzz of Lagos, and gave us that much-needed feeling of retreat. What touched us most, though, was Joana’s incredible hospitality. It is rare for a place to exceed expectations, but this place definitely did! Beautiful apartment with stunning views from the private veranda! Check-in and out were simple with a friendly and informative on-site caretaker. Easy walk or drive distance to everything we wanted to do- beach, dining, shopping, boat tours, hikes, etc. Perfect vacation spot!

This was the perfect “home away from home”, ending our Portugal adventure exactly how we wanted to. A quiet “hide-away”, beautifully furnished and decorated, gorgeous and comfortable patio area… very private! While not in the centre of Lisbon, we were a short ( and inexpensive!) Bolt/Uber drive away from all we wanted to see. And then coming back to our quiet retreat at the end of the day was exactly what worked for us. Lucinda was so extremely helpful and responsive. I highly recommend this lovely spot 😊

Cannot say enough about this place-would recommend every time. Walkable to fantastic restaurants and shopping, view is unbeatable. The pool was an added bonus after a day of sightseeing! Easy to access hiking, ocean activities and shops to stock up on provisions. Maria and Robert were very helpful and responsive hosts. Stop looking and book!!

Wonderful stay! We had an amazing week in this apartment — probably one of the best we've ever stayed in! Spectacular balcony, excellent location near the beach and about a 15–20 minute walk to the historic center (or Uber/bus for little money). The apartment is super well-equipped, with everything you need, even chairs and a beach umbrella, as well as a Nespresso machine! A special highlight is João's hospitality — always available, attentive and super friendly. Impeccable communication. Small detail (not a criticism): at the end of May, we had no direct sun on the balcony — which for us was perfect, but it may be useful to know for those looking for sun all day. Thank you, João and Ana, for an unforgettable vacation in Lagos!

Good place really nice host :)

We had a great time. From the apartment, we could visit many beautiful places, and it is still very quiet and private. The village is only 4 minutes away by car and also very nice to eat something there and spend time on the beach. The hostess provided us with everything we needed and was not intrusive. We will be happy to come back!

We had a fantastic week at Anita’s apartment in Praia da Rocha. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome – Anita and Antonio had left a generous guest pack including ham, cheese, wine, milk, water, biscuits and crisps, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch after our journey. The apartment itself is bright, spotless, and has spectacular views across the beach – which, pleasantly, wasn’t too busy during our stay. The location is excellent, with a great selection of bars and restaurants just a short walk away. Anita and Antonio were outstanding hosts – friendly, responsive, and clearly committed to making sure their guests have everything they need. Their detailed information pack was really helpful, and they were always quick to answer any questions we had. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this apartment – it’s a perfect base for a relaxing stay in Praia da Rocha. Thank you, Anita and Antonio, for your warm hospitality and kindness!

This is an excellent property with a great view and private heated pool with terrific outdoor space and chaise lounges. There is also a great coveted outdoor living space/area.

This apartment is incredibly special. The history, the beautiful old details. If you want a one-of-a-kind experience in Lisbon, I highly recommend staying here. The location is perfect and the private outdoor space is divine. Comfortable rooms and spacious overall. Will stay again!
