Vacation rentals in Silhouette Island

If we could give Max a million stars out of five, it still wouldn’t be enough! We have never stayed somewhere where we have felt so welcomed and throughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was immaculately clean, the location is perfect and being able to hire bikes from Max made life even easier! Couldn’t recommend staying here enough and we hope to come back!

We immediately felt very comfortable at Maka Bay. The apartments are beautifully situated with a fantastic view of the sea just below the balconies. We loved the sound of the waves. Our apartment was super clean, with high quality and functional furniture as well as a mega comfortable bed in particular. Nicole and especially the house fairy Pooja are extremely friendly and helpful. They are touching about the well-being of their guests. The Machabee site in the North Mahés is well located as a starting point for various tours throughout the island as well as in terms of accessibility of some restaurants, even if you have to drive to the south of the island for quite a long time. Overall, Maka Bay delivers a 1a value for money with a great feel-good factor. If we had one to complain about, we would have liked a little more equipment for dinnerware. The number of plates was sometimes a little tight. But otherwise everything is GREAT. Thank you!!!

The place was simply amazing and just what we wanted. It might be a bit remote for some people as you need a hire car but we loved it! My only criticism would be that the kitchen area is not air conditioned so it is difficult to balance cooking and temperature as you don't want to let the flies in, attracted to food but need the breeze or it gets too hot. we got fish every day off the fishing boats landing about 4pm every day at anse volbert village. Got to know the locals as we waited for fish to come in and be put out on the small concrete counters as you enter the village. We then had a BBQ every night, simply amazing!

We had an amazing stay at this place! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always available to help with anything we needed. The pool and pool area was like a dream. Their adorable dog, Chaichai, was such a sweet companion and added to the charm of the experience. One of the highlights of our trip was the unforgettable Friday night at the nearby Rum distillery. The atmosphere, the drinks, and the local vibe made it a night we won’t forget. If you’re looking for a friendly, comfortable place with high standards, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommended!

host Teresa is superb with her communication. Teresa responded as and when we updated her about our needs. Even otherwise, she was excellent with her communications as and when required. The house is on top of the hill in one corner of praslin. From airport its a relaxed 10 mins drive and from the jetty its a half an hour drive. The last 5 minutes of the drive is through a steep hilly road. So be careful while driving. We had no difficulty circumventing it as we are used to drive on hills. Otherwise, the location is superb giving a grand view of the anse lazio beach from up above. It is hard to find a better place than this in the entire island. Once you reach the place, its a peaceful enviorment. There is not many houses around so you are almost on your own apart from those who are using the other units in the house. house is also neat and clean and extremely spacious. The food offered is excellent and one must try it. atleast one meal. The breakfast was also healthy and nice.

We arrived at 4:30 in the morning, so an early check-in was very important to us, and it was absolutely hassle-free, with no extra charge for it. As soon as we arrived at Eden Island, we were greeted and driven to the apartment immediately. Without any delays or waiting, we were able to relax in the apartment right away. In terms of cleanliness and equipment, everything was as it should be – very well-kept and cozy interiors. The kitchen had everything we needed. The terrace offers a stunning view of the lagoon and hills, and the sunsets were a beautiful spectacle. Whenever we had any questions, communication was flawless, and the host himself is incredibly friendly and helpful. Great location, right on the beach with a beautiful yard, garden and pool. The house has everything you need with AC in each room. Three rooms are ocean view with a shared large balcony. The fourth bunk room faces the garden in the front. Communication was excellent and even recommended a local rental car contact. Very easy to work with and highly recommend for a group or family coming to the island.
