Irene’s home is very warm and beautiful, nicely themed house with her life experiences all over the world, it was beautiful chatting with her.A very friendly lady, accommodating me last minute, I was also offered a wonderful humble meal , would stay again in the future!

We stayed for a wedding that was happening locally in Marsden. Flexible check-in made it nice and easy to drop our bags and get dressed before heading into Marsden. Taxi back from Marsden was only £7 and we walked back in the next day to get our car with a pavement running all the way into town. Accommodation was spotless, bed was comfy, shower was hot and powerful. Complimentary coffee and tea. Couldn’t find fault at all. We opted for breakfast the next morning at £15 per person. Included full English, toast & jams, tea/coffee and juice. Was very well cooked. Thank you 😀

Beautiful location. Own parking area. Clean tidy rooms. Bathroom had a jacuzzi bath which was a god send after all the walks. Selection of cereal in room along with plenty of tea and coffee and a pint of milk in the fridge. Claire and Robbie were great hosts. Gave us a run down of Castleton and where to go. Friendly banter and made us feel very welcome. They were very responsive to anything we asked. Highly recommend this as a place to stay as it is accessible to so many walks including Mam Tor and Castleton has numerous pubs and restaurants to choose in such a small area so there is always somewhere to have refreshment and nourish after a walking day. The dog friendly bungalow was spotlessly clean. The hosts were very friendly and kind, and it's a great location.

We had a lovely time at Laurence and Anna's place. They are incredible hosts and very friendly people. The breakfast was a real treat with lots of home-made goods and our room had everything we needed. The pool was a great add-on too! It was a short driving distance to Damflask Reservoir. There were lots of restaurants in walking distance. All-round great place to stay!

Perfect place to stay: nice bed, bathroom, breakfast. All you need, plus amazing nature a step outside. Nice walks to town or any longer hike around the town. Really great place!

Great hosts! Wonderful breakfast, perfect and thoughtful local recommendations, very welcoming, cute village location close to all Peak District tourist spots. Would certainly stay here again and recommend to others. Multiple pubs, bakery, and village shops right on the doorstep. Safe, cute, and comfortable place to stay for our Peak District mini break.

We loved our short break at Hassop Station. The room was lovely, just as pictured. Bed was comfortable and we slept really well. Breakfast was tasty, with good vegetarian options too. We enjoyed walking on the Monsall Trail (which we could join just outside the station) and doing a bit of shopping in nearby Bakewell. Hassop Station Rooms are great for a short break and we'd throughly recommend them.

Really comfy, spotless room. Lovely hosts. Nearby pub is really cosy with great food. Great location.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel, the food was delicious in the restaurant. Only things that could've made it better would be plumper pillows (ours were very flat and we wished we brought our own!) and the road noise which can't be helped due to the location. The staff were all friendly and polite.

The Old Vicarage is a lovely house in a nice village. There are many hikes you can do in the area. We enjoyed traveling the Peak District. The room was very clean and breakfast was great. Tricia was very friendly and welcomed us with a big smile. We recommend staying here strongly.

Andrew is an excellent host, we arrived early and he was very accommodating with the early check in. The house was perfect for us, few minutes walk to all pubs and restaurants. He gave us some great recommendations for real ale pubs. Brilliant veggie breakfast for me and a full English for the wife. We would recommend to stay there and hopefully we'll be back ☺️. We had a lovely week at Jenny house. The location was great for us .Walked along the canal with our dog Poppy to Hebden bridge. Bus to Haworth. So many lovely places to visit in the area .Comfortable room to stay in .Great shower and bath .Use of kitchen if needed. pod in the garden to sit in with a drink. Jenny and Benson her dog were lovely. would definitely stay again. Sue and Brett.

Enjoyed our stay even though it was only one night. Very conveniently located in town and is in a lovely peaceful setting. The room was very nice and very comfortable in a nice garden setting. The parking space was good. We had a good evening meal at the Rutland arms just up the road. The fully cooked breakfast was plentiful and tasty and worth the short walk down the road. We would definitely return again. Thank you.

The canal Inn is the perfect place to stay. We loved the accommodation and everyone who worked there was very friendly and accommodating. Great atmosphere and lovely locals too. Got to meet Lola a local dog would give her 5 paws too if we could. Would definitely recommend for all ages and types of stay. We stopped breifly on our way up to Scotland and would definitely come back again and spend longer.

Wendy has a beautiful home that she keeps in tip top shape. We had a great stay, especially with a dog. Wendy was very welcoming and left us to our own devices to explore the local area, with good driving distance to the Peaks.

This is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. Leanda and Nige were incredibly kind and helpful. A pleasure to chat with and really they ticked every box with little touches to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Nige is very funny and Leanda is an amazing cook - breakfast was a definite highlight each morning. They were so generous and welcoming and their dogs were so sweet - always loved occasionally getting to give them some ear scratches. There are some great hikes close by, the local pub is a three minute walk away, and the area overall is lovely and peaceful. We had a very restful stay at Manx Villa - we didn’t want to leave and would stay again in a heartbeat. A hearty recommendation from us!
