STUNNING VIEWS BREDON COTTAGE, HOGSBACK

I struggle to find the words to describe how extraordinary this place is. Once you drive through the gates it's like you are transported into another world. The cottage is awesome and has everything that you require and more for a home away from home holiday. The view from the cottage and the braai/BBQ area in front of the cottage is spectacular, plus you also have a stone swimming pool downstairs from the cottage that also have incredible views. The expanse of the gardens on the property is just mind-blowing and provides many paths for exploring. Add a very friendly and responsive host on top of this and you have a 5 star property in my opinion. We will be back, many times again in the future.

The house is a little run down. But having said that you’ll feel right at home with small problems here and there. The gardens were absolutely stunning. If you don’t mind a basic house but magnificent outdoor space then this is the place for you. If you plan on spending a lot of time indoors then maybe check out something else. The host is very friendly.

This is a really special house! It is located in the most tranquil part of the world and the house itself is beautifully decorated and has absolutely everything you could need for a self-catering stay. Don’t consider anywhere else if you are looking for self-catering near Tarkastad. Angie is a magnificent host and goes the extra mile on everything. We hope to be back!

Pieter and Christel are very gracious hosts. You can rest assured that you’ll be in good hands. The setting is beautiful (there’s something special about Hogsback). The unit is modern and tastefully decorated with all the amenities one needs for a comfortable stay. It’s the perfect spot to escape to when city life becomes a little too much.

A rustic fireplace is positioned beside a stack of neatly arranged firewood. The dark metal stove displays an intricate design and serves as a focal point, emphasizing warmth and comfort in the space.

After a small glitch with us being assigned a different cabin, the staff were very friendly and accommodating and made arrangements for us to get the cabin that we really wanted, The Dragons Lair 😄 It was perfect and lived up to our expectations.

Jessica’s farm cottage was the perfect stay for us on our road trip through the area. It is peaceful and homely and offers all the basics you’d expect from a self-catering cottage. Jessica was friendly and responsive and had good recommendations for the local area - esp. around Hogsback Highly recommend! Thank you - we will visit again

We booked this venue for our friends, and this is their review: - - - - We really enjoyed our stay at Primston lodge. It's a beautiful, well appointed cottage with a great outdoor cooking/eating boma (where we spent most of our time). The farm is perfectly kept and a pleasure to walk around, our kids enjoyed the farm animals immensely. Didi and Stu are the perfect hosts to have, being unobtrusively available for your every need. Would recommend this to any family wanting a truly relaxing getaway. - - - - We were able to visit our friends whilst they were there, and were so impressed with the place, as well as how lovely and welcoming the hosts, Didi and Stuart are. It's a venue we'd consider for ourselves on our next visit to Bedford/Adelaide area.
