Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Setagaya City

We loved our stay! The house is very spacious and well designed. We slept soundly and enjoyed the surroundings that koto has to offer! Would absolutely stay here again on our next trip.

No complaints, responsive host, clean home and great location!

My parents-in-law are coming from the countryside to visit us in Higashi Nagasaki, where we live, and I booked innnn higashinagasaki for them because it was a great opportunity.I wrote a review during my stay, so I'll list it here as a proxy: "Higashi Nagasaki, where my daughter's family lives.The private houses and shops with a Showa-era appearance are still alive and well, making it a nostalgic and peaceful town.Even when I'm walking with my daughters, people I know casually say hello.Innnn higashinagasaki is an inn that blends perfectly into the city.Open the front door, climb the narrow, steep wooden staircase, open the sliding glass door, and you'll find a bathroom, a dining kitchen, and a bedroom in the back.The whole interior feels like an old building has been renovated, and it reminds me of my student days about 50 years ago.The private house was easy to use in a free atmosphere without interference from anyone, and I had a really relaxing and comfortable two days. " During our stay, our family of four, including two children, also visited, and we took out a lot of "delicious food from Higashi Nagasaki" and enjoyed dinner at the dining table of innnn.When I opened the window, I saw the evening view of Higashi Nagasaki, and I never thought I could enjoy such a nice "extraordinary" experience in a city where I have lived for a long time.It was a very valuable time for us.I would love to stay with you again the next time my family, who live in the United States, come to Japan!

It was better than I thought!Not only did the children enjoy it, but the adults also enjoyed seeing the children in a way that they don't see in their everyday lives.There is also a supermarket nearby, and if you are coming from a rural area, you can buy what you want to eat at the service area on the way and cook it in the kitchen, so you can enjoy one meal in a way that is very different from a typical trip.What you can see inside the Holy Planet is just like being in the universe, and I was able to experience an extraordinary feeling that I had never experienced before.

Masaki's house was super furnished, the kitchen had a small grill, and she even put beer and ginger ale in the fridge to welcome us. We were very happy about that after the long journey! The house was huge with beanbags and sofa, a nice dining table with good light, we felt very comfortable. Right at the house was a footpath to the park, without cars. The park has a lake and you could take a walk by the river. The pedestrian area was only 15 minutes away, with lots of restaurants and shops. We would book it again immediately. Til next time!

My friends and I really enjoyed the space during our stay in Tokyo. The building/interior appeared to be newly renovated so everything was spotless. We stayed as a party of 4 and felt we had enough room for all of our luggages and sleeping space. You should note that the three living spaces are connected in a row so the kitchen/dining space is attached to the second sleeping space which is attached to the third sleeping space. As far as the amenities, I really loved how large the bathtub was and the apartment itself was very comfortable for the 4 of us. Yuri was an extremely kind and accommodating host from allowing us to send our baggage ahead of time, to communicating with the delivery service when I had a package sent over during our stay. I really appreciated her hospitality~

Jenny's place was great. I needed something quick for a brief weekend trip to Tokyo and her spot is incredibly well located. 1 stop to Shibuya and access to the rest of the city. Jenny herself was also incredibly helpful. She sent a serious of bilingual documents to help me find the apartment and get in and settled. And she made herself available incase I needed anything else or had any questions. Overall it was a great choice and I wouldn't think twice to book it again, even with a longer trip.

Great place for a family stay in Sangenjaya. Very responsive, lots of supplies for a child provide and well located :)

We really enjoyed staying at the Airbnb. It was easy to get to locations such as shibuya and shinjuku which was a massive positive. It’s in a great location and would recommend to anyone who’s looking for accommodation just out the city.

Perfect place to stay for the final night of my trip. Yasutaka’s apartment has a sauna, ice for ice baths, a massage chair, and anything else you need. Location is a little remote/quiet, but easy access to trains. It was a relaxing and to a beautiful two weeks in Japan.

This was a great place to stay in a really lovely and local location. I often come to Tokyo and like to stay in different neighbourhood when I do and Sakurashinmachi was a quiet but super convenient spot just out of shibuya. When I arrived there was a slight issue which I communicated to Robert who did what he could do promptly address this and considering it was such a busy time he did great in organising this. The space itself is compact and practical, having a washing machine while travelling is a godsend too!

Motohiro-san’s apartment at Amino Residence was a fantastic place to stay. He was an excellent host, communicated promptly and responsively, provided detailed instructions on how to get to the apartment and answered any questions I had. You cannot ask for a better host! The apartment is located very close to Ikejiri-Ohashi Station, which is one stop from Shibuya. The area around Setagaya is a lovely, quiet neighborhood with tons of convenience, restaurants, nearby laundromat, and a beautiful inari shrine across the street. It was truly the perfect combination of quiet getaway with quick access to the heart of Shibuya. It was also only a short walk to Meguro River. It really made for a great time visiting Tokyo. It felt like home!

Great place and great host. Shohei very responsive and also informative, the place is very clean, the bathroom smells good, complete cooking and eating utensils. The minus only that the train station is a bit far so it is hassle if we had luggages. But the bus stop is very near from airbnb.

I have stayed in there for 2weeks. Location was perfect for me to go everywhere I wanted. Bus stop was just in front of the place, and bus came frequently all day included weekends. 7 Eleven was 30seconds away and Supermarket was only a few minutes away. When I wanted to walk to Jiyuugaoka train station, it took only 20mins and very simple to get there. Ritsuko’s mother looked after during my staying. She was so kind. I’m planning to come to Japan again next year, so I really would like to stay this place again, if I am allowed.

Sho's flat is a perfectly located room in a neighbourhood which is fun to explore - tons to do, all within walking distance. The nearby temples/shrines are sublime. Take Sho's excellent food recommendations - all of which turned out to be exceptional; recommended walk to the gym/pool also great. (Within blocks, there is a restaurant-filled quarter - incredible variety.) The walks themselves are scenic, and the location convenient to virtually all of Tokyo. Sho was always kind, helpful and responsive. The room is a great place to crash...do bring earplugs, though, as you are at the mercy of the guests upstairs (who may not walk on tiptoe.) The character of the small room is that of a simple hotel - it is not very personal or apartment-like. The bathroom is comfortable, clean and functions well. Although the check-in process sounded quite elaborate, it ended up being easy. Choose this place for the location and exploring ...and for a good night's sleep, as the room is small and simple.

Fantastic place and so close to the train station which we could use the Tokyo Metro Pass with! Lockers are available for luggage storage should guests arrive before check in time!

This Airbnb was super cozy and was a great location. My husband and I stayed there for 4.5 days and had a great time. Subway stations were close (10+ min walk), had Nakano Broadway super close by for food/shopping/etc and was just overall a great spot in Japan. The host was VERY friendly and responsive when I asked questions. Will definitely be staying here again!

Host was very responsive, and listing matched descriptions and pictures in the listing. The unit is 3 min walk from train station, which is really convenient. Host explained how to use all appliances. Quick response from host whenever we ask any questions. Would highly recommend this place!!

We had a lovely stay at Shunki’s place! Everything was clean and spacious with easy check in and out instructions. The location was convenient to the train station and we had multiple convenient stores and shops for our every day needs. We were welcomed with a box of treats when we arrived and it was super sweet! Highly recommend :)

Lovely little appartment in a calm neighboorhood. Kami-kitazawa station is at 2 minutes walk from the airbnb and it’s pretty easy to travel to more central areas from there (shibuya and shinjuku for example). Lots of restaurants nearby as well as supermarkets which spared us a lot of time when trying to find something. Only detail is the train that passes by is kind of loud but we slept well nonetheless. Would come back to this place.

The apartment was great, the location was great, and Bryan was very flexible with all our needs! Definitely one of the best places to stay in Tokyo. We would definitely recommend his place to a family visiting Tokyo and looking for a comfortable stay!
