We'll start at the new Toyosu—the world's largest fish market. We'll then go to the outer area known as the Tsukiji old market and Tsukiji Uogashi, a new building with fish-selling areas, including a background area that is off-limits to ordinary tourists. We'll drop in for fish while experiencing the authentic and dynamic atmosphere of a wholesale market. After taking some shopping time at the outer area, we'll purchase a variety of fish and head to Asakusa. We'll visit the popular Buddhist Sensō-ji temple before we go to my shop to prepare Kaisekistyle lunch--Traditional Japanese Cuisine--, Kaisen Donburi—sashimi rice bowls—with fresh seafood and more. After our meal, we'll have some surprise treats. Please note that the markets are lively and changing each day. Please arrive on time and be aware that the experience can run over time.

Sake, Japanese Rice Wine, is very unique Japanese traditional liquor like no other in the world. Now I am a very much of fanatic & enjoy it little more than I should lol.
But, to be honest, my first Sake experience was not that great. I will tell you all about it when I see ya!
Long story short, my opinion was completely overturned when I was introduced to GREAT SAKE in Japan. It was very fragrant & fruity. Easy to drink & flowery in the aftertaste.

I will take you to the best Izakaya (Japanese restaurants and bars) or standing bar or Chicken skewer bar which sits in Shinjuku which is such a big city. Most locals patronize these places. They serve terrifically delicious Japanese dishes washed down with beer, Japanese sake and/or other booze.
Then we will walk you through the red-light district called Kabuki-cho in Japanese, which is one of the biggest areas here, and witness the actual night life of Japan.
And to cap off the tour, we will be going to the bar district where there are over 200 bars to go around in this area which is famous for its time-period sub cultures located in buildings that elicits the time-period themes portrayed. We will visit one to two bars.And you can continue the bar hopping after the tour to explore the rest of the 200 bars!

Ramen making with a chef
Tonkotsu ramen soup takes more than 8 hours to make and chicken soup takes at least 4 hours I would say. So we are making “shoyu” (soy sauce) ramen soup in my experience. And, let’s learn more about “Japanese ramen” where is it from originally, how many years it’s been since ramen was landed in Japan, what kind of flavors there, and what are the authentic ramen cooking method at home. So I am excited to share with you my home style Shoyu ramen soup recipe that I have created based on the recipe I have grown up eating! We’ll also make gyoza with lots of cabbage and chives, then pan fried serve bottom side up! Very classic Japanese gyoza ingredients and method of cooking. I will ask everyone to use your hands, chopping, form gyoza, and present the dishes we make. Lots of tips to enjoy Japanese cooking much more, and cooking tools. We will cook from all from the beginning within the class timeframe. My experiences are hands-on cooking followed by my short cooking demos. Shibuya Stray Cat
Visit a few iconic staples of Shibuya's nightlife scene. We'll start at "Vive La Vie" which is a hidden restaurant/bar, ran by a former photographer Michiko who turned chef started it 15 years ago. Then move on to the watering holes of drunks' alley ( called "Nonbei-Yokocho" ), an area with more than 30 bars to toast with local drunks. If we still are full on, we could hit a bar "Point 66", which is owned by Mr. Maezono a.k.a Mar-chan who has created a legendary "328" in Nishi-Azabu, very first club in Tokyo in 1979, or "Bubbles" which is a hideaway in Shibuya's secret district Maruyama-cho. You can learn how to make three types pretty sushi in my class.
It is not traditional sushi craftsmen teaching, but it is much in originality. You‘ll enjoy the seasonal feeling from those sushi. Your making sushi is the only one in the world. Also I can prepare vegetarians option. Because these sushi can change the ingredients into vegetables .
After make them , let's eat together. I will serve delicious miso soup .
After the meal is over, I’ll put Kimono on you. you can choose what you like from several kimono.
Then lets enjoy tea ceremony together.

◆Day Schedule about 4 hours◆
1) Meet at Nezu station (C14 / Chiyoda Line Tokyo Metro)
2) Welcome to my house! It takes about 30 seconds from the station to my home. Greeting and choose a kimono from my collection. I will help you to choose and get you dressed in.
2) After wearing kimonos, I take you to the Nezu shrine first to have a photo shooting! The Nezu shrine is one of Japan's oldest shrines, and certainly one of its most attractive.
3) After the photo shooting, I will take you on a local tour associated with the season. Ex. Yanaka Ginza shopping street, Nezu shrine, Ueno Park by bus, summer festivals our neighbors, Please enjoy four seasons in Japan!
4) End of the tour and we will help you to take of your kimono!

Hit the town with a sake sommelier
We'll visit a liquor store in downtown Tokyo and will take part in the tradition of "Kaku-uchi" - sampling different types of sake at a liquor store while casually chatting and enjoying the lively local atmosphere. You won't get lost, as I'll provide you with the essential knowledge to increase your enjoyment. This experience is for you to enjoy "sake & culture" tasting.

Enjoy Japanese authentic kimono and life
Let's dress up in a genuine KIMONO feeling Japan's traditional dignity. You can choose from plentiful color variations and sizies of Kimono, even big size (Women 150-180cm; Men 160-190cm). Summer time, I will prepare Kyoto brand yukata.But if you want to wear real kimono,you can try it inside the room.(outside is really hot)
After dressing up, we will go to nearby Shibamata Taisyakuten Temple(known as the location of Japanese movie films.)It is a simple, local,quiet temple with wonderful garden and Buddhist sculptures carved throughout. Here on weekdays it is really calm and we can enjoy amazing art to our hearts content and take a lot of pictures of you wearing a kimono with the back of the temple garden.
The Shibamata approach road is lined with shops selling delicious foods and souvenirs and people offers friendly and warm voices to you. And let's have a Tea Break dressing up in a Kimono in my house. You can enjoy green tea with Japanese sweets.
From now on, I will give special consideration to safety, and I will try to learn and enjoy Japanese life by using my traditional Japanese house. Knowing the culture of Japanese life is very important in aiming for a world that protects others.

Izakaya Food Tour in Shinjuku
We will explore the greater part of Shinjuku, the busiest area in Tokyo to show you popular spots as well as hidden gems. We'll have a couple of bites during the city walk. We'll then head to two izakaya restaurants that are popular among the locals. Places we visit range from modern to traditional, and if you are looking to try just ramen and sushi, this might not be the right one for you. Throughout the evening, we’ll taste different Japanese foods and drinks, learn about our pub food culture and history, and spend time with other foodies. Also, we offer an optional sake tasting session where we will try 5+ different craft & seasonal sake at our own sake bar in Shinjuku before the tour at 3:30pm (optional & price not included).

Sushi-making Experience
There are various kinds of sushi, but we will make 5 kinds thi time (Nigiri sushi, Tamagyaki-sushi, winding winding, manual winding, fine winding). Generally there are two kinds of hand grips (kotegaeshi/tategaeshi). I will make sushi by this method. Becuase my shop is a shop that last 100 years, I have inherited the technology you will experienced it. Let's grab it in a sushi craftmanship. And let's make goals that sushi can be made even if yo return home!
Let me eat lunch together because I also hold a sushi for you. And if there is something you want to know abot sushi, I will gladly answer.

I will explain about myself and share experience of travel many places by kayak.
After telling the basics, it’s time to start paddling kayak by yourself.
The course is mainly quiet and local residential area, so you will feel the real atmosphere of Tokyo.
The attraction of kayak is paddling with only your power and feeling great sense of accomplishment after you arrived at destination.
I’ve been fascinated with that and continued kayaking about for 20 years.
